welcome it is Saturday August the 10th 2024 tonight I will be going to the Space Cowboys game at Constellation Field to watch them take on the El Paso Chihuahua it is Faith and family night and they are giving away a Justin Verlander bobblehead doll now the game starts at 7:05 they are going to open the gates 2 hours prior to that so the gates will open at 5:00 and you do want to get there early if you want to get a bobblehead doll because the lines will get long real quick so I'm going to have to leave pretty soon also there's not much shade outside the ballpark so you're basically standing in the parking lot or in side of the building in the direct sun you know and it's it's really warm today so like Glenn Fry said the heat is on it is definitely on today so yeah join me if you will will you yeah I forgot to mention that uh Justin Verlander is supposed to start tonight he's on rehab assignment so that is subject to change but yeah as of right now um Justin Verlander is the starting pitcher for tonight's game the early bird gets the [Music] Bobble I want to check out the team store real quick I like these caps right here yeah usually on game days they open the gates about an hour before the game starts uh on giveaway nights they open the gates an hour and a half before the game starts but for some reason they open the gates 2 hours before the game started tonight so I did get there a little bit after 4: I did have to wait in line for about 4550 minutes uh for the most part it was cloudy it wasn't too bad uh about the last last 20 minutes or so the sun came out and it was hot it was about 94° so I was sweating a little bit also I got an email right before I left the house saying that Justin Verlander was pitching tonight which I didn't realize he was and on top of that they gave away the Verlander bobblehead dolls so that was pretty cool and I did end up purchasing a hat and a collector's pen at the team store as well it does seem like every time I go to a Space Cowboys game they're always playing the El Paso Chihuahuas for some reason I've been to many games at this ballpark over the years too many to count I even came to the very first opening day of April 26 2012 back when they used to be called the Sugarland skers I've seen Roger Clemens pitch here and even Tracy McGrady of the Houston Rockets back I need you to help out of the ball the ball [Music] Ming I'm just kind of clicking I hope the money thing Tes me tring to get that money [Music] TT me I can I'm going to go one you then I go [Applause] all right I'm in section seven row LC 10 right behind the Space Cowboys dugout [Applause] [Music] [Music] w [Music] [Music] s [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] oh you hear that [Music] [Music] [Music] I mean you have guys that [Music] oh get on your horse there you go all right [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] side and we got question repres the B side see who has the L side of the stadium [Music] [Applause] third here we go [Applause] [Music] [Music] cting their birthday and we are going to sing Happy Birthday to them so listen up and sing along birday [Applause] [Music] [Music] [Applause] wow I did have to stop and give me some diping dots they only had the rainbow flavor and birthday cake so I went with the birthday cake all in all it was a fun night at the Ballpark first Lander only pitched three Innings and he gave up one run but he looked pretty good he did give up two hits one run and had three strikeouts but the Space Cowboys ended up losing to El Paso 5 to3 in 10 Innings well that's going to do it for my video for today as always thank you for watching be safe be kind and stay caffeinated [Applause]
