quarterback almost just threw his second interception on his many drives he's trying to fit that football in there tipped up in the air he's lucky that wasn't picked off they've got the ball at Midfield but they're facing a third and long linebackers trying to create some [Applause] confusion quarterback changing the plays at the line on Third and long a check down would be the last resort he's going to let it go and that'll be incomplete they certainly weren't afraid to take a shot there and now it's fourth down every defense in the country talks about getting offenses in predictable third and long situations where I can bring on more speedsters and I know the pass is coming so I can have more success this is an area of the field where it's really advantageous to just go for it [Applause] on fourth down looking for the completion quarterback strolling away from heat still running at the 40 bu does his way through almost took it all the way but a huge gain and he has him set up first and goal man how tough is this guy to defend he drops back everything tells you pass and then he scrambles and gets the first down just so hard to defend and the Terin trying to cash it in on first and [Applause] goal they've marched to the Red Zone and here they go caught behind the line it's Ward and oh did they know that one was coming they'll knock him down in the back field well that receiver is looking at his teammates like guys what's up you're not going to block for me on the screen seriously I just lost yards on a screen play how does that happen [Applause] to the air it's rising fires deep toward the end zone and he's got it Dodge down Maryland man really nice job attacking the middle of the field you see those safeties man I want to split them he splits it right down the middle throws that post right on the numbers catches the ball in the end zone touchdown they want to see if they can score the deuce linebackers moving trying to confuse the [Applause] quarterback from the gun looking for a man he's got it two-point try is good as they build on this lead here's this offense with a fresh set of [Applause] down and a nice solid pick up there before the defense wrestles him to the ground man the evolution of the back position basically you should call them running backs who throw the ball really well now and guys you know the other thing that happens here is that sets up the next play because you've sort of left the defensive line gassed trying to run down the quarterback oh you got to be in shape chasing him around all day on design runs on scrambles and you know it's just and the plus one advantage you get by having that guy it's just it's so hard to defend he's back to throw on second down got away from trouble and got rid of it the sure hand it neighbors that is exactly what you're looking for when you talk explosive plays the defense finally able to make the stop man this offense is so dangerous Rees they've got dudes all over the field that can make plays there's a big gainer in the pass game you get a chunk of yards like that now the defense is really on its heels new seter Downs right on the doorstep for this offense they're in the red zone and they'll pass it it's caugh touchdown Auburn made the grab and finish the deal in the end zone quick strike touchdown comes out and jump starts the offense and man we see this in college football so much explosiveness and Firepower and we get high scoring game after high scoring game and it looks like we're on Pace for one of those right now tight finds a soft spot he will be stopped short the two-point conversion attempt is no good and their the tie also goes by the boards they're still down two offense set on first [Applause] down dropping back it's rising he's going for the big play and they won't make the connection go going for the big play this quarterback has been struggling to find a rhythm in this game so far didn't have a ton of success in the first half so here he is trying to ignite the offense with a deep shot but they're not able to come away with the completion after the misfire it's second down defense trying to keep this offense from getting a line on who to [Applause] block receivers telling the quarterback what they see he wants to throw here on second down and that's going to be incomplete a lot of contact on the play but no Flags it'll be third down man and that's a big missed opportunity for the running back I'm trying to find ways to feature this guy and get him the football in space and not just hand it to him all the time and tell you what I'm a lot less likely to find those plays if he can't reel in those [Applause] catches on Third and long he's going to have to turn one loose down field oh and he just flat dropped it you do not see this guy do that very often it'll be fourth down and on that third down play there just wasn't any timing between the quarterback as an intended target as a result ball Falls incomplete setting up fourth they've already converted a fourth down in this game they'll try to make it two for [Applause] two moving the running back forcing the defense to adjust on fourth down going to the [Applause] air fires to the wide out oh what a grab by the defense taking it the other way the 30 the 20 touchdown over and this defense coming up with points of their own what an interception return how about that man fourth down trying to go make a play get this off going get it sparked get some points on the board and that couldn't have gone any worse they throw the pick and not only that they return it all the way back for six that offense just shot themselves right in the foot why not double the try total and go for two scanning the field it's Howard he's got the two-point conversion and they build on that lead first down here for the [Applause] offense here's the snap looking to throw going over the top and he makes the catch inside the 20 DOD down Caren and once he found open space the fan might as well start playing well I'm not sure who was closer to the receiver there the defensive backs or us here in the booth that was great execution on offense receiver wins the route oneon-one shows off his speed gets himself wide open there was no question for the quarterback is nice job now the two-point conversion attempt is coming motion from the offense touch pass on the Jet Sweep he is stopped short of the goal line denied on that two-point conversion attempt and this game is still [Applause] tied the offense set for a first down play [Applause] from the gun he'll try to throw unloads to the white out makes the grab and he's wrestled to the ground and I like the throw I like him understanding I'm getting man coverage the sideline is my friend I can't miss inside where that guy's chasing him throws it right on the corner route great job get a nice positive game second and short now after that completion off play action moving away from pressure he'll get that one all the way down to the four yd line before he stop and you're seeing here the difficulties defenses have trying to contain this guy you a lane opener you don't sack him right away and you allow him to get outside the pocket he is going to take off and he is very difficult to tackle in the open field he's and he takes it in for the score touchdown Tigers the offense strikes again to extend it lead here in the second half and they got everything working how great is this you extend your lead now you get your defense back on the field great job taking advantage of the situation and building on that lead almost had the completion just [Applause] missing this should be the last play of the [Applause] quarter off the play fake on first down to throw fires to the wide out all kinds of room to throw that one in there and you can see the offense just feeling itself they've got it down to the 21 starting off this quarter close enough to smell the goal line looking for a man it's ryy might be looking to run and that's a live ball and the defense has got it and they're bringing it back and after the pick everybody going the other way and he crossed Midfield and got it to the 47 a that's a that's a big time blow man once you get that under that thre minute Mark and down by multiple possessions and you got to put something together the last thing you can do is turn it over cuz that clock is not your friend the offense lining up for a first down play on the option oh and he can't hold the pitch and the ball's loose he's got the ball and he'll try to pick up a few good awareness by the offense you never want to see the ball on the ground but a nice job understanding to just kind of jump on it make sure you keep possession you want to talk about hearts and throats when that ball was on the ground the offense recovered its own fumble quarterback wants to throw on second down looking to scramble fires on the Move complete to the right brought down just outside the Red Zone he moves the change it's at the 22 I think most offenses around the country in situation like this with the lead late would be trying to run the football right or throw it short and try to bleed the clock but this offense man it's still pedal to the metal they're looking for chunk play opportunities try to get the edge with a quick touch pass stumbled to the [Applause] ground we reached a two-minute warning in this off will be quite content just to drain the rest of the time away got nothing last time now second and goal from the three back to throw it's Howard looking to the end zone this will be picked off maybe just the turning point they needed it's a fumble on the play and they are fortunate to avoid the turnover as the fumble goes out of bounds here comes the offense on first down quarterback checking [Applause] off snaping the shotgun he's taking a deep shot he makes a catch the express way is wide open he's at the 10 touchdown Maryland and once he got away from the D they had no shot at catching it that is how it's done in the clutch in the big time your offense comes up with the big Drive puts points on the board now you tell your kicker go knock this Pat through Take the Lead nice execution by this off def looking for the two-point try he'll ride his man on the option he is stopped short of the goal line the two-point conversion attempt fails and this late in the game you just have to kick it and take the lead first down here for the [Applause] offense out of the gun looking to throw makes the catch it's Judkins they make the stop but not before he takes a chunk out of what they need to move the sticks what a great job by the quarterback working through his progressions here in a two-minute situation he doesn't force it down the field if it's not open check it down to your back let him go to work and he comes up with a huge play line getting set on second down back to pass it's Howard he makes the connection and that good for a short game but they still have some work to do to pick up the first down man this quarterback is going to have to be deadly accurate here in this two-minute situation right that's really what he's had to be all game long he hasn't had a lot of yards because the coverage has just been so tight he's had to be pinpoint perfect it's been hard just to find completions no doubt it's going to be the same thing here in this two-minute drive and they can't make the connection on third down well I know hasn't been a tremendous day statistically for this quarterback but his decision making has been good enough to win this game hasn't thrown a lot of TD so far but when things aren't open he throws it away like on that play right there he's not putting his team in a bad spot and that's why they still have a shot they walk out of here with a dou goes to the option he'll pitch it and a big play there on the option the pitch was executed perfectly what a run great speed great vision elusiveness and David he's tackled down close to the goal line yeah and this offense when you can run the football like this man you will have success especially in the Red Zone trying to get touchdowns this offense right on the doorstep they can grab the lead late as time continues to wind [Applause] down they want to throw it and he Wales in for the score touchdown tigers that is exactly what you want your offense to do you wanted to eat clock but if you score go up by two possessions nail meat coffin great execution by this offense to put this game away here comes the two-point try wide receiver shows motion but Jet Sweep pass he's not going to make it stop short of the goal line and they are unable to extend this lead any further first down for this offense quarterback reacting to what the D is showing to the air it's rising throws to the wide out got a wide open receiver a huge gain on that one before he ran out of bounds and he has the first down the Terin hit it quickly to the line [Applause] they'll throw it on first down here he goes breaking the pocket and he'll step into the end zone Dodge down car how about that coming up big less than 30 seconds in the ball game you need a score and this offense absolutely responds go kick that extra point take the seven-point lead and let your defense finish this one they'll line up to go for two they'll try to pound their way in he goes into the end zone for the twoo [Music] the first down for the offense takes a snap wants to throw looking deep and incomplete on the Deep ball well that one fell incomplete but they know they're only one big completion away here from getting that field goal they need so bad have time to get a first down clock it or use the sideline to stop the clock and put them in position to win this game now on second down after the incompletion back to throw it's Howard slings it he's got it gets out of bounds after the big play and they'll be set up in business with a first and goal [Applause] and guys a perfect opportunity here to take the lead Lake he's looking to throw they're trying to get to it the pass is incomplete and the clock will stop with 5 seconds left when you started this drive that is ex exactly what you want I know you wanted the touchdown but we wanted a chance to win this football game now you have it a chance to kick it get the W nice job by the offense putting you in position
