against the Atlanta Dream and popped off with 12 points as well so the fact that we have another Caitlyn Clark a season along full of Caitlyn Clark highlights I am so excited to get this underway and that I'm like absolutely we should be going live here I talked to my bosses I told them let's get it going and they agreed with me so that's why we are here today giving you guys a breakdown of the Indiana Fever versus Connecticut Sun I'm super excited to get this underway as we know Caitlyn Clark can do damage here in the NBA WNBA excuse me well you could put her up to test for the NBA as well standing so they got a lot of ground to make up but I do I do believe that D J Carrington while she is more of the face of the Connecticut Sun you know I'm really looking at Bonner here she's the one Caitlyn Clark makes her official WNBA debut and it's going to be a very fun season the games are a little bit shorter they are 10 minutes a quarter so it's not like the NBA uh 10 minutes a quarter of course they do still have halftime and their season does typically end around September with the playoffs entering into October and they sometimes overlap there with the start of the NBA season so also a shorter season as well but the really cool thing is and I want to ask you guys if you have seen what is going on right now is uh how do you feel about the new WNBA team they it was announced today they did announce a couple weeks ago that the Golden State uh area the Bay Area if you will is going to get a WNBA team I think that's a great area to put a WNBA team of course a ton of NBA fans like Steph Curry Draymond Green Klay Thompson have brought so many fans to dub Nation so the fact that they now have a team in the Bay Area for the W it is called the Golden State Valkyries and preseason game and I do think that she's just trying to do a little bit too much right now the shot will fall I'm not worried about about what she can shoot or what she can't shoot uh but I definitely am worried about the the court Vision just a little bit and that's something I never thought i' would have to say about Caitlyn Clark because she's phenomenal when it comes to her basketball IQ but a lot of the the couple of the turnovers that I've seen she's been trying to do overhead passes when she's being guarded by girls that are bigger than her she's to start resorting to a chess pass or a bounce pass and she has done a lot of the back door passes which I really do like and she would have a lot more assists right now if a couple of shots were finished after her her passes down low but I do think um she'll find her rhythm in this you know she had um 12 points against the dreams she had 21 points against the Dallas wings so once she made her first three she'll start to find that and that of course came from when she she shed the nice catch did a nice pump fake did a nice little Sid step that's when that shoot came out so I think that once she finds what works for her going up against a bigger Connecticut son who keep in mind the sun's also locking up Eric wheeler Kelsey Mitchell and aiyah Boston right now as well Nissa Smith has a team High so obviously they're a little bit bigger when it comes to size so that's going to be um a tough tough adjustment obviously as you can see from the score right now the sun just have this game they have their number so the how the got to think too Clark hasn't had a break Clark ended March Madness two weeks later was a WNBA draft a month later is WNBA not saying she's tired or anything but definitely been it's been a it's been she it's been two months since she's played college basketball she hasn't had like a real off season like the NBA has to really adjust to professional level settings turnovers are a problem though she the turnovers that's definitely going to be tough it's it's a traveling and it's the bad passes but she adjust and she's got a long long season ahead of her I'm really excited to see what Clarks going
