Florida A&M Football wins 21st straight at Bragg, defeating South Carolina State, 22-18

[Music] another week another gritty win for the Florida A&M football team last week it was in Atlanta on Saturday night it was inside BR Memorial Stadium in Tallahassee against South Carolina state Rattlers daing the EJ on their helmet in honor of the late Eddie Jackson longtime Rattler supporter and president of the 220 quarterback Club who passed away this summer home opener for the Rattlers Bulldogs they get on the board first though first quarter driving Rattler defense coming up big Deco Wilson saying not today for the dogs to kick a field goal which they drain it's three nothing second quarter fuu's turn now Daniel Richardson cool Under Pressure gets out of trouble and finds Kobe gross touchdown Rattler's extra point is good it's 7 to3 FAMU LED 7 to6 at the half second half Bulldogs offense gets to Rolland Andre Washington to Zan Jerry Dunham who barrels his way in for six extra point is good so it's 12 to7 Rattlers back with the ball now gross can't hold on to it Bulldogs recover they'd score soon after expanding their lead to 18-7 but as we've learned don't count out this Rattler Squad Richardson high ball to Carter Johnson who makes the grab holds on to it Fu back in this a three-point game after the two-point conversion after holding the dogs on defense back to work on o Richardson to Thad Franklin Jr touchdown and that's going to do it Fu fights back to win this one 22 to 18 the final score from brag they came in with the with the with the opinion of trying to win and I thought took coach the coach dis may I thought he did a really really good job getting ready for us uh did a really really good job having their their systems in place and uh you know they were pretty balanced the whole night but uh you know it seems like when we get down uh that's when we start playing better so uh but tribute to our team tribute to our coaching staff you know you know we're two and 0 in the Mak um but hopefully we uh we'll enjoy this win um get our go through our corrections tomorrow and uh get ready for our next next opponent the Rattlers hit the road next week when they traveled down south to Miami to face the Hurricanes now FAMU not the only show under the lights on Saturday night Ryan Kelly was in valasta where he checks in with the Blazers
