My VERY FIRST RunDisney Race!! - 10K Adventure Is Out There - Walt Disney World 2024

hey guys this is Jenna and Dale with Resort TV1 and today we're here for our race yes we are so excited we have to clip it yes um so no we are super duper excited for today um we got to get to our Corral here soon but all right so we're going to show you guys all of it so let's go let's go well it is 3:52 a.m. and we are in Epcot already along with everybody else with all the people there was like nobody on the road until we got to Disney and it was like bam everybody looks like there's going to be a photo op over here sorry for the glare wonder who it's going to be cuz we run out back this way once we start yeah Shrek Shrek wrong Park I saw the donkey I saw donkey in kto maybe all right we're going in we're walking in we got to go this way check in and and uh go through security and then we'll go to the party party party party partying all right we made it to epcot's entrance got the music going really nice and loud and all the runners getting picks all right we are making our way over here to uh the race area finally quite a production and we're still walking still walking they've got a ton of horta bodies the line for the real restroom was really long but it only took me about 12 minutes so it wasn't horrible here we go I see the Finish Line oh my goodness sign says just keep moving just keep moving y Dale's all already here he's got his shirt we got him on Etsy number goo my phone holder all set you go let's go Jenna's all ready to go as well in her cute little skirt thingy and her cute shirt as Welles see but yes adventur out there let's go find it let's do this Got Run Disney here on the Guardians building which is super cool wait wait sweetie it hasn't started yet you're going you're going to you're going to you're going to get tired wait so we're walking in man look at all this power raid they have ready for everybody it's good we're going to need it we're still walking I think we're going to get a 5K and before our 10K yeah we did all right I thought we were going to go that way but no they have us going this way to then go that way but just so you know they do have a gear bag check so you can check your gear your bag if you want if you don't want to carry it so they have several food trucks over here before or after the race if you're hungry and then they they have information booth a baby care all sorts of things and here is the stage with the [Music] DJ all right everybody gives me a great pleasure to introduce you Sports host guest please put your hands together man I need that pet how does between you and your mom you know she always wanted to do a r Disney race so they must be over closer to those cor adoped parents right here look like we have some character meet and GRE by them apparently so we also been getting to know each other she actually from Mexico okay so to the right of the food trucks we finally found the gear check and it's over here in these uh Enterprise frontal truck area s put yourself okay I think we're ready we're going to finally head to our Corral this morning got all the things done checked to the starts all right we found our Coral we e for the last Finish Line we're in the very last Corral but that's okay that's all right oh no okay bye pred for anything right um but yeah oh here's the people over on the stage's the stage okay what kind of things can you treat here in Florida all right folks we are just moments away from the start of the race now the first time we say those magic words that will be for our chair athletes only so make some noise for our R Disney friends over there all right there goes carral a don't go too fast first you're awesome we love you so we decided to take a seat because there's 28 waves or so and they're only on Wave number like I don't even know or 10 yep so and we're towards the end they just got to see so I got yep so uh we decided to go ahead and take a Sit see is finally moving but they're still only on Coral what living in a lonely world that's right come on [Music] so this is the first wave of C which is our group but it's not [Music] up not yet we getting [Music] close the race started at [Music] What's your deal [Music] [Music] we're we're going yeah we uh can't run right now but we're [Music] going so thank you for the ones who slow down wejoy and you guys are a part of that so the first run is long the street Street people are up on the bridge and here's the first character meet in kto and they're running on the bridge okay we're walking we ran a lot but now we're walking that was a good stint that's a good run yeah we're going to run some more don't worry yep but we are uh on the road currently pretty cool caution athletes so we get to run through athlet the booth section speed bumps ahead caution athletes speed bumps ahead caution athletes speed bumps ahead [Music] [Music] caution so we go way up there and then you can see all the people out on the road so we have to go up here take a right somewhere and get up on that bridge got to go up to go got this sweetie we got this why does it smell like sugar guys I know vanelope here oh vanilla here vanel the close it oh cool right here mile marker number one [Music] so here's the turn we're making going up to going up on the bridge don't run into the bus he we're coming up there's a band how cool is this oh my goodness [Music] awesome that is awesome [Music] woo all right that's where we were it's getting less and less let's see if we see the balloon ladies you see them I see the end of the line oh boy is that me and balloon ladies guys we found the balloon ladies I don't know if you'll be able to see them on there but they're down there [Applause] there's the end of the race bir being pretty over there got another character old John Jenna's doing great she's nailing it thank you next character woody woody mile marker 2 I see my marker 2 I'm so excited mile two down you guys are awesome hopefully you're feeling awesome you guys look amazing [Applause] you guys are crushing keep up the energy you guys look awesome I love it how pretty is that Sunrise is coming that's sunrises are coming to and we can see spaceship earth aka the golf ball this is coool we got Carl here awesome next character this guy Jenna I'll tell you who it is cuz I'm not sure who that is Jenna who was that um I forget her name but she's from Tarzan okay from Tarzan it's more than I knew too early almost halfway I bet there's going to be a halfway marker up here we'll need electron beans and Crystal good job high [Music] five in the park we are officially in the park come right out here next to figment vlogging too we're vlogging yes double Vlog we're in Epcot officially we're in the park here's imagination so excited Tails vlogging too we're vlogging yes Jenna's favorite pigment check it out guys running by the pretties and there's Goofy so cool here we go we're in the park almost the world showcase all right we made it to World Showcase oh my word look up there oh that's cool everybody's [Music] dancing my word I smell big popcorn here's D we got this D we're running through the world to hey look at that so much fun so fun so that's Chip and Dale spot but we're on a break oh Wells oh we're going this way I thought we were running in the bathroom so we go behind we're going going behind come out over there oh cool look the lights are on how cool is that daytime and the lights are on that's awesome [Applause] [Music] so we're headed behind UK and now headed over to Boardwalk this is everybody else that has already ran all the way around boardwalk and is coming back what a shot that's crazy and everybody it's filled up all the way around Jenna's over here killing it here we are mile marker number four so here's a unique One Meet the Robertson wa favorite movie me the Robinsons oh my goodness I love them look at that line though they're so cool Dale I love that movie it's like my favorite movie that's awesome man I want to meet them but I also want to run so I guess we'll run let's go yep we're running on the boardwalk tail on the board [Music] Bo hey how are you thank you somebody on we're making our way around look we made we made the loop Dale all the way around so we're going to head back to Epcot now and that's the end of the race right uh no you got to go out just kidding it's not the end of the race still over to the parking lot oh area yeah yeah yeah no that's fine oh my goodness okay here we go around the curve here more people still coming lot of people oh my goodness wow the sky ERS aren't even going yet d That's How early it is it's not even 7:00 the sun hasn't even officially we can't even see the sun yet nope it's not up yet almost here we go back in up cut and we're in we're going to be here later too for Dapper Day dressed a little bit differently though running in [Music] it's goofy guys oh my goodness so cool right as we're coming in Indiana Jones [Music] goofy wow look at that Sunrise coming over the trees and World Showcase [Music] beautiful all right we're going to France you don't see it this empty back here [Music] [Applause] [Music] okay we're almost to America world showcas is going quick we almost a mile 5 not quite o water let's go get some water D we've we've deserved it we earned it I mean let's see how much water they have for everybody this is so cool thank you all the water making our way into Italy and the lights are still on really pretty all right let's run again here we here we here we you got this Dale you got this there's the dwarfs dad's door oh our next Mile's coming up mile five oh my goodness see that go and Morgan we're in [Music] Germany mile marker number [Music] five making our way around waiting on D taking some pictures but mile Five Mile five down only a mile point2 to go can't believe it crazy so fun though I love it we're just a cruising coming up to [Music] China she says downhill is [Music] easier just less than mile left we right around there cuz it's 6.2 miles I believe is what it is so M2 pretty close oh we're in Mexico is uh laava open I don't think so no but it's the last country it is we made it we'll celebrate with laava later yeah we do plan on coming back this afternoon cuz it is Dapper Day also today it's Dapper Day we're going to be in total different outfits yes we will do going to be awesome and we're going to go home shower nap food uh cold bath ice bath all the stuff before we come back Jenna there's uh joffre let's get a coffee hello hello may I have a coffee please no coffee for you no coffee no coffee for you okay I just say do you want do you know why her mouth is dropped like that check it out check it out real outfit I saw him as Santa Dy it's Jenna's favorite oh the line's over there it's up to you yeah let's do it okay thank you so much she's super excited we haven't stopped for any characters yet she want to stop for one and she loves Duffy Duff yeah run for Duffy oh my goodness it's Duffy I love Duffy look at these Runners good job duckies you got this all right we're making our way through we got to meet Duffy that was amazing oh my goodness I love him um we had to hurry of course so the video wasn't very long so Dale do we have time for shopping uh no shopping today this is like probably the only time we get to go by Creations without stopping finally later Dale they have new adventures up there or Adventures out there ears dreams to come true um so I got to get those ears they're in the shop so we got to come back later get him all right we're running by it bye woo we made a sharp ride at the creation shop and that sun is right and here are the tents these are the tents that take the pictures as long as they can see your number then they take a picture and then they'll be on your photo pass so when you're running look for those green tents and make sure they can see your number to be able to get your picture here camora and Star-Lord how cool is that that oh word that's really cool you're going for like [Music] Guardians going around that was cool know do you want to you want to stop not n no we are [Music] yeah all right we're exiting the park my test track here we go by upcot for now so I have this app to track it and yes it says 50 minute mile Bas cuz that's what happens when you suff for characters okay we came out to this oh my goodness this is cool wow amazing how cool choir [Music] perfect mile six we got this mile six congratulations on your [Music] 6.2 okay our GoPro is almost dead so we've been switching back and forth but we're almost there yes like they said almost there we're almost there I see the Finish Line oh my goodness all right Dale you ready to run to the Finish Line I am all right let's do this I am ready [Music] hello the PO hello cind hello hello Parise tourist hello grap [Applause] soda hello grap [Music] soda oh my goodness good job sweetie you get a we did it amaz oh my goodness so you did amazing you did too we got our metal oh my goodness I'm so excited right now look D look we did it w we'll show you them all pretties in a minute we got water we got a nice cooling towel and oural most important thing de push the push the look at that how cool is that I am in love with this that's so cool so we got all the the things the water the Power Aid the the metal the most important thing and now we're heading this way looks like they're heading out some more things so let's go see what they have so as we come through we got the gator raids they gave us a banana and they gave us this box this box see what's in it show us the goods ready yes oh sweet Tostitos baked potatoes chips M&M's M&M sugar M gummies oh we got cheddar for our tortilla chips oh fantastic I love that peanut butter crackers cool a moist tette you want to say hi we're meeting The Hoppers here all day long all the time TV I was hoping to see you you look so yeah that's so good we met so many great Hoppers today both oh fantastic I love that oh my word I love this is cool you look ad you do I love it look her outfit thank you you too so yes all the mo tet and then we have the uh honey Stinger waffle that looks delicious that does looks very good cool I'm ready to eat oh yeah okay good drink some water yeah so we're uh taking a load off cheers literally taking a load off literally little bit of banana power Aid and uh I don't know what else but everything looks good in that box catching uh catching some air not really catching our breath so doneal we did it guys we're so excited we had a little snack a little break y but we forgot to show you our we were so excited we forgot to show you what our metal does because is amazing so first of all check it out it's got wrestle right here the up house uh Adventure is out there and then it says 10K in the year and uh but watch this is the best part ready how cool is that ah you push it from the back you can't like oh D's D's fancy can't even see oh my goodness okay best medal ever I mean how perfect is this for us is cuz we if you know our other channel it's uh Adventures of Jenna and Dale yep and our tagline is adventur is out there find so that's why Jenna was like we got to do this race but I didn't even know it before we did it like I didn't know exactly that it wasent out there well I guess I might have but that was the only it's a lot of fun we have a lot of fun these medals are amazing those are so cool so cool your all right so they do have a Joffrey's truck over here so if you need your coffee they have it and uh over here it looks like you can get some uh some metal pcks so we're going to go do that I'm excited all right so we got our uh metal pick and now we're heading over here because ditch and Lilo are meeting and greeting so let's go Lilo I love it so they have the DJ going right here in the middle which is really Cool's out there Doug and Brussel they're so cute oh my goodness and Marie at are being adorable over there all right we're heading out congratulations we did it woooo and uh yeah can see the Corrals and well they've got it all just all the fences and everything still up but yeah we can't go across here we got to walk all the way around again so we'll get another 5K before we get to the car Dale you ready for another 5K before we get to the car yeah okay here we go here we go that's how far it is I know I'm just going to walk this time though yep but yeah our car is way over there then we'll do another 5K this afternoon another 5K when we come for Dapper Day yeah it's all good that's what you do at Disney all right guys well we're back home we are back home I changed yep I have not yet still in my tank top but um going to shower here pretty soon and uh get some breakfast and yeah a nap definitely a nap yeah I think we're both pretty tired um but that was an amazing experience it I'm glad you you did to so well thank you you did well you did two which I knew you would your second one but yeah um but yeah I I would totally do it again that was so much fun I would do the 10K again I 5K for sure and I don't know about I think I could do the tin mile I don't know yeah probably could four more miles possibly yeah yeah you probably could yep the challenge would have been fun it would have been fun I don't know we'll see maybe one day mhm but I would definitely do um a 10K again so yeah so much fun yeah we get a good time so a couple tips that we have for you guys um would be to hydrate a ton before before um before the race well no I'm sorry not right before the race but like the day before the day or two before they say drink a ton of water and car eat eat your carbs and stuff the day of yeah don't drink a ton drink a little bit and if you're the last group The the worst part was just waiting until our turn took a while yeah was you saw us on the ground there like oh my word is it time yet let's just go so and then I was nervous about the balloon ladies but it all to not even not even an issue for us now I wonder if the one's further back cuz there was one more group behind us yeah but even I don't think you'd almost have to walk I think the whole thing yeah uh but yeah if you're towards the front they won't be an issue at all because it's a 16 milei Pace from the end of it so if you're at the front you could probably do like a 20 mile Pace like if you're one of the first first couple groups yeah it's like an on issue but but yeah we um I think we ended up being about 15 because we stopped yeah we stopped we walked quite a bit more and it's it's it's harder it's almost more takes more energy to run at Disney than it does does out on the street because there's so many people around you have to stop you have to go you have like try we out so you're you're using more energy than you would otherwise because you're like stopping and going you're not just uh consistent have your consistent Pace down and everything so it did make it tougher to run that Disney than it does just on the road yeah yeah my arm died yep arm died so legs are dying arms are dying it's time for now breakfast but uh so yeah that made it more challenging and another thing if you do have a GoPro I just held mine the whole time I did not even need that wrist thing uh and I think I remember that from the first time now that I uh Ran So I never put it on there because it's just it's so small it's easy just to hold and and you can get much better footage doing just holding that instead of trying to do that number and breaking the wrist yeah we can hand it back and forth so that actually worked out it yeah so next time I would not use that thing burp we just fed a breakfast yes yummy it was good good stuff um and I had this tiny little waist pack like a runner's waist pack which worked great when I wore it around I should should have brought it but when I was running around you know outside uh in the neighborhood and stuff but um with the skirt cuz the skirt was so puffy and it was up a little bit higher it didn't work the best um for me anyways so if I didn't have the skirt on I think it would be fine but if I wore a poofy skirt then I she wish she would have left at at home yeah I wouldn't have I would't wear it again if I'm wearing a poofy skirt yes shorts it's fine so anyways little Little Couple tips for you
