X rank is what pops up when you go into your Yahoo draft that's going to be the rankings that we're going to be comparing ourselves to and in general uh we like the wide receiver prices down the board and hopefully we can get a anchor running back to start it off in round one if you are able to CMC, Breece, or Bijan select your spot on Yahoo to us it is most notable that you can come away with one of the top three running backs in chrisan mcaffry and Bree Hall in bejon Robinson because those are the types of players 20 plus Point scoring running backs even up to 24 points that Define fantasy football season so again top five because that's where bejan is listed here is the way to go for us and you're also going to see almost certainly the draft values that you're going to have have at wide receiver in rounds two rounds three and beyond that a couple of settings here we're going to treat this as a two running back three wide receiver Flex Half Point PPR league and as Hayden mentioned we're going to focus on x-rank because that's what comes up by default when you join these leagues rather than ADP average draft position of what we site in other positions so Hayden I'm going to go with bejan Robinson here as a third overall pick even though it's a couple spots ahead of his rank we've argued this all summer I'm on team Bree Hall but I'm okay with bejon Robinson in the first round as well they're basically the same exact player going down all the way to the starting quarterbacks coming off of Tor and ail so yeah these guys have the upside chance that's why we're prioritizing them but I think the most important thing round two round three we're going to love the wide receivers that are available there so that's why we're going to draft the running backs over someone like cidi lamb who obviously we love Justin Jefferson you can draft those guys but to us those wide receiver values uh are perfect in the second and third round we're here in round two this is a big fork in the road Early Wide Receiver Values moment and you've seen guys like Jonathan Taylor saquon Barkley Jamir Gibbs Isaiah beo Travis eten Derrick Henry all go ahead of our pick here including kyen Williams Hayden that makes me even more thankful that we went this early running back now the big fork in the road and we have to make this decision quickly are we G to take these wide receiver values like Drake London Bren nauk Nico Collins or we're going to go in direction to Devon hm I say let's go with one of the wide receivers here I like iuk I like Nico Collins I like Wadd I like Hooper cup those are the the type of wide receivers that I like as we mentioned at the top 20 plus Point scoring running backs are the pathway to having fantasy success we believe that if you want to start with a running back running back selection aan might be the best Avenue of doing that in round two could have totally gone in that direction but you all are not going to believe the values that we're going to get a wide receiver not just in round two and round three but beyond and beyond that and in fact we might even get hn here in round three but man their names we're going to site Underdog ADP a lot like Drake London's going 15th overall in Underdog Nico Collins 17th Jaylen Wadd 19th BR auk 26th Cooper cup 22nd these names are all in the mix for us here in round two in round three and that can carry us through really our Flex position as well yeah just looking at some of the defaults like Jaylen Wadd he should not be 36 overall there's times on Underdog where I draft him in the top 16 overall so Wadd cup Devonte Smith the list goes on and on here so we can kind of pick your favorite flavor should we go Nico or should we go Jaylen WD like we we are in on both of these Players let's go Jaylen waddle okay I just I just like his upside path because if something ever happens to Tyreek hill we will be drafting Jaylen waddle really high up and the other portion nine and a half wins this year so we're expecting more and more close games which to us means more and more jayen Wadd featured in second half we only had one touchdown in third and fourth quarters last year coming up to Elite QB/Stacking Teammates? our fourth round selection here Hayden we love the value of Malik neighbors he just went off the board however now we have this possibility of stacking teammates we could go Anthony Richardson by himself or we could do Steph Diggs CJ strout or we could do Trey McBride Kyler Murray what do you feel let's go with one of the Texans wide receivers and I'll let you make this difficult decision with digs and tank Dell how about that I know Steph digs has been playing a lot in the preseason but playing my flag on tank Dell so that's who we're selecting here even though he's a little bit above ADP I could have gone the quarterback there and let one of the wide receivers hopefully return to us but just assuming that no one El is going to steal our stack here of these Texans players and if if they do we we'll we'll find another stack later on but I think that's a pretty key key part of this is we even in your redraft leagues your home leagues you do want to match up your quarterbacks and receivers together I was just assuming that one of them would select Anthony Richardson there goes Stefon digs and so now we can select CJ Stout I am slightly more leaning towards Anthony Richardson ahead of CJ St just from the rushing Factor but in terms of these like pocket quarterbacks CJ Stroud is clearly at the top of the list compared to that but if I wouldn't begrudge anyone for waiting a little bit longer and getting the likes of Kyler Murray if they wanted some rushing production there too I have CJ Stroud second in passing yards and second in passing touchdowns in my projections video that I posted on there I think CJ Stroud should go in the fifth round in every single draft I know go later on Underdog but I think that his true value is in this especially when we trust that that our last round picks at wide receiver and running backs will be able to find the values so in your home leagues I definitely am going out of my way to go draft one of these quarterbacks I know I'm going to lock in in the top five top six every single week for all of you out there we typically call the quarterback and tight ends the onesie positions because you only get to start one of those each and every week as you can tell here on Yahoo the onesie position their home is in round four and round five I mean Jaylen Herz Lamar Jackson Patrick Mahomes Anthony Richardson CJ strout already went in those two rounds for tight ends it's Donan Kade TR McBride Mark Andrews and George KD so keep that in mind if you bypass round four and round five without getting either of those you're kind of scrolling down the board which is okay but just again that is really the base the home of those two positions and in fact Mark Andrews to me is a bit undervalued on yacht how we are projecting this two running backs three wide receivers plus a flex we only have Mid Round Wide Receivers one running back at this time have three wide receivers plus our quarterback at the top of the board the player that stands out to me is T Higgins are you cool with this yeah he goes round four basically every single time this another option if you don't have a quarterback T Higgins and followed up with with Joe burrow in a couple rounds do want to point you in the direction of one of our favorite values on every single platform that you're drafting on Rashi rice going here with the fifth pick of the sixth round sixth round is totally fine with me if people want to take him at the end of the fifth that's totally fine with me uh his X rank or ADP is much much later on many of these platforms so do not be afraid once we get into the section to abandon what they're throwing in front of your face and instead make your own rankings if you want to take Rashid rice around earlier and I'm sure we're going to do that with a bunch of some of these rookie or second year wide receivers too I think we can possibly get that party started with Savor worthy in this next pick that might be a lot of wide receivers to start this thing off but Xavier worthy I do think eventually he'll be going in the fourth or fifth round in a lot of these now in the default we're talking about 97th so maybe if we want to feel greedy we push it one more time but Brian Thomas Xavier worthy uh save a draft spot for one of those two guys because by the end of this year there's a chance that we're ranking these guys like top 20 wide receivers so I just want to call everyone's attention that yes we are really pushing running back down the board here you'll see why that we will feel comfortable doing that because we are going to dominate one running back at the top and bejan Robinson and a bunch of wide receivers here I feel really good about Deontay Johnson here Hayden unless you want to take radun because I think we can get Xavier worthy in round eight or round nine what about Kyle Pitts we don't have a tight end in this one if we going to save another spot for a wide receiver that we like one of these upsides I kind of want to save a spot for them and I don't really feel fired up about the rest of the tight end group so I think seventh round Kyle Pitts I think this is where the risk and reward meet and I want to be going for the upside case in worst case we can find another tight end the last couple rounds here sorry to disgust you the angels on one side the Devils below me here as you can see uh he forced me into that cow pit selection I would even push it down to like David and joku Draft Rookie Wide Receivers who's going in round eight or round nine here and feel totally comfortable with that but again if some of the wide receivers that we really like Xavier worthy Brian Thomas Jr also going in round eight and round nine will still have the potential of of doing that coming up here defense is already being selected here in round eight don't be that person in your home League okay this is where we can still find amazing values at all the other positions do not lock in kickers and defenses this early on again our team so far CJ strout Bren nauk Jaylen Wadd bejan Robinson Kyle pittz tank Dell and T Higgins we already have four wide receivers Hayden I think we're going to go back to that well here in a moment because this is back where a whole bunch of talent sits first and second year wide receivers but we do at some point need to take an upside shot at that running back position there's Deon Singletary there's Chase Brown there's also romad dun still left on the board I think we go Rome and hope that one of these other running backs come back to us yeah this tier of running back there's a lot of like Fringe starters and then there's going to be some high upsid to handcuffs so I think that's how we're going to attack this taking one of these rookies saving them on your bench and then waiting for the last part of the year when these guys typically go blast off and that makes so much sense for run because if you realize what fancy football is it's veterans especially later on in their careers starting off hot and then declining rookies starting down lower and going up and that is going to be perfectly mapped out with Keen Allen and Romo dun this year I didn't select Deontay Johnson he's going 68th in most of these leagues that's where his x-rank is and so it would just feel weird to include him here in your mindset in your possibilities because he'll go much earlier in your drafts okay so I feel good even though we love Brian Thomas Jr and if you need another wide receiver in round nine to go in that direction because he's going to potentially even be in two wide receiver sets for the Jacksonville Jaguars we have a volume sponge and Deon Singletary most likely coming to us we have someone in Chase Brown who's in a split backfield most likely going to get some passing down work receiving work for them which of these two directions you want to go and we're going to supplement this with other sponges a bit later on too so I like what Devon single ter is providing in the in the preseason he was out there for every single snap I think like he's the perfect candidate for the first month of the Season you get get him out there in your starting lineup he's not going to go completely nuts and then in our last couple picks here we're going to shoot to the Moon with some running back handcuff opportunity so I like having single Terry kind of like a fill in here but going back to those last wide receiver picks you can't just only take the high upside wide receivers in the draft so that's why I was trying to advocate for for Kyle Pitts there just because there's going to be a ton of wide receiver upside picks uh in like rounds seven through 11 okay Devin sary is our selection here it was really made for us by the person picking ahead of us who selected Chase Brown again Courtland Sutton Brian Robinson here available in round nine is unbelievable stuff but Picks For Late Season Stashing let's fill out our running back room Hayden some talents we love courin Sutton Brian Thomas Jr Jonathan Brooks here we did just take Devon single ter as an early season guy should we then go Jonathan Brooks as a late season yeah this is the perfect reason why you Draft Deon single ter get your points through September and then Jonathan Brooks when everything matters in the fantasy finals in the fantasy playoffs that's when Jonathan Brooks should be at his full potential pretty sure that a lot of people are not going to be wanting to draft him because he's not going to start the season healthy but that's perfect for us he's going to be sitting on your bench for a reason but as a reminder Brian Thomas who just went in the 11 10th and 11th Round Here make sure to that he's on your radar it's always worthwhile when there are certain players that are so different than x-rank or default rankings or default ADP soon as you instantly log into your draft room go and star them search their name and star them Brian Thomas is definitely one of those and Hayden we're going to find that here in round 11 as well because it's the likes of Rico D then two Buffalo Bills wide receivers in Keon Coleman in Khalil Shakir so we have a really balanced room at this moment with our wide receivers being Brandon auk Jaylen Wadd tank Dell T Higgins romad dun our running backs bej Robinson Devon Singletary johnan Brooks which side do you want to go on Ric D or the wide receiver Rico D we want uh one Cowboy or one Bengals running back and basically every single draft here we have yet to do that so Rico da I think has a chance to run away with this job have not been impressed with what Zeke Elliot has been showing out in training camp Ric D really explosive but even if he's not very good the Cowboys offense is just generally too good they've hit on their offensive linemen two rookies the training camp reports have been positive there so since we've only drafted one running back in the F early parts of the draft now in the middle rounds we keep hitting this uh running back position and this is why you bypass the kickers and the defenses at this point in the season because one of the top 10 offenses in the NFL in the Dallas Cowboys are uncertain at their starting running back job we haven't gotten a clear indication a clear moment a clear game that points us to any of those guys that could totally change after week one if Rico d goes out there and gets 15 touches he's an extreme value in round 10 round 11 round seven even and we were able to get that instead of just going and filling out our starting lineups of Favorite Sleeper Picks kickers and defense so as we approach the end of this draft again we're in round 12 here I believe since we went so early on at quarterback in CJ Stout a top six name at the position I would not feel comfortable selecting another quarterback out there because at that point just streaming if something does happen to CJ is the better Avenue than using these draft picks some of our favorite name still on the board again want to mention both of these Buffalo Bills wide receivers later on when people people see uncertainty they rank them lower they don't want to draft them let's run to it because you might found value after week one hits that was heon Coleman that can be khil Shakir Pat farmouth at tight end if you really push it this late I would still consider him a top 12 tight end name because he's going from very little Titan usage to Arthur Smith who's going to heavily heavily heavily be top three in Titan usage this year and we've mentioned early season volume sponges chuba hubard is a name like that in round 12 and round 13 if you drafted one of these rookies young guys who might have S later on the season juuba hubard as we talked about Jonathan Brooks weeks one two three four going to see the vast majority of the Carolina Panthers carries and I can make the case for Blake corm as well in terms of just upside picks if something happens to Kiren Williams Blake corm is somebody that's going to go immediately to the top 12 fantasy rankings he got a bunch of volume at Michigan Shawn McVey doesn't like to rotate his running backs so if Kiren Williams is not out there that means Blake km is so if you're in a spot where you've completely punted off the running back position to me Blake km is like as good of a handcuff option as you can possibly dream up some other favorites davan Wix Tai Chandler even ad I Mitchell going 147 overall in fact I'm going to plug Us in with Ed I Mitchell here in round 13 with Josh DS's injury I think ad is going to be the Indianapolis colts' starting slot wide receiver and all you has to do is be better than Alec Pierce to stay on the field beyond that so this again I don't know why but some of your home leagues out there are going to have their default or x- rank below on first and second year wide receivers those guys typically Define fantasy football seasons they are major parts of the narrative and so load up on those as much as possible how do you feel about this draft I like it and then make sure to not draft your kickers and defenses if you're drafting early on draft some of these rookies that we're talking about and then right before week one starts you can drop the ones that you feel worst about and pick up a kicker in defense uh 24 hours before the game start okay we refer to Underdogs ADP so often that's because drafts have been going on with real money on the line
