good morning Don Lan freezer Valley News your morning news update for this Thursday uh August the 29th as we're starting to warm up for the Labor Day long weekend we're going to shoot for highs of 30 probably get 26 27 today yesterday the big political bombshell was that Kevin falcan has pretty much dissolved the BC United party they used to be the BC liberals they are not running now in the Federal in the provincial election so it's pretty much a two horse race between the BC conservatives and the incumbent indie p uh the green party is still around uh pre Premier David eie was in celak yesterday for two announcements one was a media scrum uh that I was part of and we have that up on chill TV and Abby TV this evening and that's starting at 6:30 and also a announcement of major spending on BC Hydro projects in the Eastern Fraser Valley meanwhile uh their handlers were pretty quiet about how this is all going to play out and is there a shift in how voters are going to do uh at the polls now that the United BC United is gone and well we'll just have to see how this all plays out uh also on the go for arrest made by chillak RCMP and Corrections Canada including a corrections officer who was smuggling Contraband into an institution but they're not saying which one Trina hunt that murder uh it is now a couple of years old family is still asking for uh information uh on that case uh Trina uh died in 2021 she was from Port Moody her body was found in Silver Creek outside of Hope if there's something we should know about let us know fbn shaw.ca have yourself a great one the Sunshine's back Don Lane Fraser Valley news
