focus on College because obviously this is the first weekend of college um let's start with okay some point predictions for the OSU akan game I am going 490 I know I know zip it baby zip it oh my gosh that's aggressive I know Bob our buddy Bob 48-7 okay he asked me was I not going to give Acron love and I said What's Love Got to Do With It you're so corny I know it and you love it Robert buddy Robert H this is this is trash he got 63 to 13 where is he coming up with 13 I don't know oh goodness that's a lot of points that's a lot it's got to be like in the fourth quarter with the fifth string or something and that's kind of where my prediction is I think it's you it's hot and heavy in the first half like it's very quick yeah um and then I think there's going to be a lot of second third maybe even fourth stringers that play especially in the these next you know handful not handful of games but the next month y um there's going to be a lot of that I think so so I'm thinking I'm gonna go 567 567 I'm going go five six to seven and you're assuming that seventh Point comes in the fourth quarter somewhere at some point yeah yeah y okay or some freak play where it's like a broken play and they score okay whatever but I I think it's I I I think the Chip Kelly offense is gonna be quick I think it's GNA be quick fast and I I think I think Ryan day has to prove a point I get it's against akan whatever but like you need to assert dominance early in the season yeah for him open up the eyes of everybody in college football like we're we're here and for him I think I mean yeah had a lot of points but it's there shut out baby yes I I think you need to come in need to come in strong under 10 yeah yes you need the defense needs to be needs to be good especially early um there's gonna be hiccups since week one for a reason everyone's gonna have hiccups but right you need to a certain dominance early get the team kind of everyone's on board like this is this is it yep it's it's Championship orust regardless of what everybody says it starts with a yep I have to admit that I shouldn't be CR too critical of Robert with his 63 to13 because in our racing fantasy league he is kicking my ever loving butt I mean it's start own them cubes cubes it's it's aw root beer oh I know so good though I know but I'm have to price yeah got to put them in the trunk early let them roll around get all yeah yeah get them all nice and shaking up so he opens it right in the face yeah right it's going to be an explosion of root beer love it love it hi Robert how you doing okay um he just like are you yeah he's like you guys suck you know it yeah okay um okay um I am saying my ACC winner for the conference is Miami okay not Clemson I don't love it I don't love it but well who you still going clemon I I I yeah I think so I think Florida State shocked a lot of people which I'm not surprised at all yeah I think we even talked about it like if it's y if it's the typical Mr DJ who is transferred to 15 different schools Y and just continues to be mediocre at best like it's not going to do anything I don't care if you go to Florida State or Oregon State or you stay at club like you're still just not a good quarterback and it showed he was just insanely bad and and the team team suffered tremendously yeah and georia Tech played a hell of a football game Tech him love here yeah Georgia Tech played a hell of a football game yeah um but yeah I never thought it was Florida State um I I I think Clemson's kind of a stretch but it's still Clemson yep so I I at least for the ACC unless like you said if Miami does make this you know make this leap um I think it's possible um I I don't know but I like the Dark Horse pick of course but it's very it's it's it's just an interesting team but all they have to do is when the ACC like you said I mean if they blow through the ACCC and Clemson struggles somehow throughout the season it could be them for sure yep yep I'm going Miami Hurrican I got look at their schedule and I'm curious you got me real curious about this Miami starting off with Florida who is trash Florida yeah Florida sucks yeah Florida is bad um let's see let's see what we're working with here you just got me got my head spinning a little bit here that's what I do because they're what they're top 20 I know that much they're top 20 starting off into week one so you've got Florida Florida A&M B state south Florida Virginia Tech Cali Louisville Florida State Duke Georgia Tech Wake s o yeah very very doable right yeah okay okay I see you deu sir yeah See's method to this madness yeah I mean honestly outside of the Florida game in the swamp yeah they should they really should run through most of these teams Louisville could be interesting yeah Florida State maybe even though we already saw that the Georgia Tech game could be interesting now too if they continue to play well yeah Georgia Tech yeah that's interesting okay I don't hate it as much as I thought I would so that's fair I'm I'm giving you some information you can use here yeah I'll put that in my notebook yeah put it in bronze yeah put my notebook just light it up yeah now Big 12 I am going my favorite is still Utah Rising if he plays he's a winner he's also six 5 yeah he's played what 12 years in the college game now or something like that brutal must be nice my my other one could be Oklahoma State but I'm going to go with Utah yeah that's pretty consensus pick around yeah I mean when you look at the rest of the teams in that conference between after those two getting thin yeah and Utah's defense has been pretty solid for yeah a while now um and cam R is a good quarterback outside of him being in college football forever yeah but when he plays when he's playing he can get injured but when he plays he's win he's the winner yeah yeah and overall like offense wise they they play pretty well run the ball pretty well um obviously decent wide outs on on both sides and there's really I don't see a ton of competition in the Big 12 for them yeah yeah that's yeah there's not a lot to um stretch them I don't think yeah I mean maybe if Arizona makes a little bit of of a run that's a stretch yeah um Kansas State n maybe Oklahoma state is interesting though yeah they're pretty always pretty good team yeah but they still they got they got a tough little stretch looks like at the beginning of the season going from I mean they play Arkansas it's SEC school so who knows right and they play Utah they play Kansas State back toback weeks West Virginia you know you like I love m in West Virginia yeah it could be interesting um interesting yeah I mean the schedule is not easy but be interesting this weekend with Penn State in West Virginia I can't wait I can't wait this whole weekend of football just got me so happy what you I mean West virgia could beat could beat him although yeah oh I absolutely could see the upset I could see for sure if pin State loses that game it's going to be bad oh it's going to be hell they're be absolute hell and you think I'm crazy initially but the more you think about it it it could happen yeah oh is up the biggest Underdog it's at home yeah it's at home it's a it's a great home environment you have a senior Le quarterback good old Garrett green who isn't afraid to throw the football right right so that's always good and it's an a rate offense yeah they got a good running game though yeah and Penn State you never know never know James Franklin yeah um yeah I would love to see a close game I would like to see Penn State tested too see like let's let's see what you're truly made of if all this talk about you being in the cfp do you think they're going to air it out with Penn State's quarterback I mean do let him throw the ball downfield big time yeah cuz last year drewal rarely threw the ball downfield there was a lot of short to intermediate right which is why he had such a high completion percentage and his touchdown interception ratio was like yeah it was great I mean it was an insane amount yeah of touchdowns versus interceptions which is great at the end of day you your job is to throw the ball to the open receiver and that's great and they lost two games again so something something's got something's got to give I do think they're going to run the ball efficiently they do have a good running game um yeah they they need to throw the ball downfield spread the field stretch it yeah yeah do just do something different obviously I don't know how long a three L season is going to take Jim Franklin but I can't see it taking them much longer I don't think he makes the play like we need we need three losses I don't think change I don't think it's going to make it no not for them I think it's 10 and two is going to be the minimum yep I think so too um okay um three other interesting games and you can think of some more Notre Dame Texas A&M that's an interesting game Texas A&M is favored by what two two points last I saw it was three three but that's they're home so you always get three right I mean yep you always get the courtesy three at home yeah unless it's like a really really like like Oregon the Buckeyes orgon's going be favored by like half a point at this rate right right so what's your take on that game well Notre Dame's got to well both teams do but not Notre Dame going to it's they they gota they got to run the ball well I think not to win the game they need to run the ball well um and not they I don't I don't really know if last year's loss to the to the Buckeyes was their fault outside of like the the last play or I guess the second to last play mhm the jump ball I guess Hail Mary throw from Kord MH um but I think the X Factor for them is is Riley Leonard how how good is he like you got him in the transfer portal from duke how good is he gonna be for this roster for this program because you had Sam Hartman who in my opinion was pretty solid and then kind of not tanked towards the end but just was kind of average mhm but how how is this somewhat dual threat quarterback GNA be um is it going to work well with with Freeman's coaching staff with this offensive game plan um and then for Texas A&M does does Will Rogers sling The Rock I think that's what it comes down toh is he going to throw the ball efficiently is he going to throw the Deep B because I think at the end of the day Notre Dam's defense is is going to play well I think they have got very good defense yeah yeah I think they're going to play well but it's is well how we're going to be able to beat that defense yeah is a rushing attack going to be able to beat that defense yeah and again it's they're going to College Station it's wild wild yeah you love I love agilan I love that Stadium um I don't know if it's still the uh the the previous history with Johnny Manzel and the football crazies down there but look it is a it is a rocking stadium and it's a night game yeah so the atmosphere is going to be electric and it's a top 25 match up top 20 match up yep and it's Texas football baby oh yeah it's gonna be great but I think well actually I want to say I want to say A&M just because of the home field advantage and okay let's say NRE Dame well not Dame doesn't have a tough schedule though I don't think they do not not really but they've got if they lose this one they they only got one more to spare I think would they keep them out at nine and three I think so that's a good one the thing is the thing is are they gonna were they put another how many 10 and twos are lurking around at that point and do they want to put another big 10 team in another SEC team in or you know what I mean it's getting little yeah no that's uh I just feel like that that three loss is just tough I would not want to be in that boat with three losses no not at all I truly just would not would not want to do that but I guess at the end of the day yeah you're independent so it's I I don't like it gives me the hick and I don't know why I kept saying Will Rogers Conor wingman wman you pronounce as A&M's QB I will I don't know why I thought about will or Rogers but he's yeah that's no that's Washington I believe so speaking of two teams that really don't want a first game loss us LSU uh this is help this is really going to Define either team's season I have to start I think um oh big time Big Time if you I mean either team loses it's tough It's an uphill struggle for because of the conferences they're in right yeah yeah absolutely it's uh I I'm gonna I'm going to take USC I think USC's uh going to win this game really yeah I think their defense is going to be better than people think it's going to be interesting and their and their quarterback is a system quarterback and I think he'll do very well in the system yeah I mean I I think my only and I if I remember correctly I don't think LSU's defense was really that great last year you have a ton of points they were just fortunate enough to have a Heisman winning quarterback yeah and an insane amount of talent everywhere so that that helps but couldn't you say that about the USC with their quarterback I I I would say LSU's offense was a hell of a lot better overall than anything USC had I mean having having Brian Thomas Emily Neighbors on either side of you as a quarterback that's free range that's like Joe burrow with Jamar Chase and Justin Jefferson yeah obviously those two are insane but talent wise if you're Jane Daniels you're you're not mad yeah you Chuck it up and be like okay cool we're good so you so you taking on this one I I think I'm gonna go USC I'm gonna go with you there okay because I think the offense is slightly it's slightly better I think Talent lost ues very important here they lost a lot of yeah and I I get kale Williams isn't there anymore but Lincoln Ry has a really good rap shet of having good quarterbacks yes he does and I so that that is that's probably gonna be my tiebreaker yeah and it seemed like uh Caleb Williams on the read option would sometimes prefer himself and well I think the new guy I can't think of his name he's more probably going to be more uh likely to disperse it rather than saying I'm I'm the guy I'm going to take it so I think he'll run I think he'll be better at running the system than Williams was I'll try think if it's Miller Moss or not if that's the quarterback that they decided on I think it is pretty sure it's Miller Moss um let me see let me double check I think he played in the Holiday Bowl yeah yeah yeah yep yep 372 six touchdowns yep that's pretty good that's that is not bad that is pretty okay B me you go down the list I mean they've they got some pretty solid Talent yeah they do the offensive side of the ball and if they can I think someone described their defense as being talented but directionless they were pretty good people without a plan makes a lot of sense as the why so many points were L up yeah and then some people think well their new defensive coordinator has a better plan let's hope so because I I don't know if he can get any worse yeah yeah that's true to be honest yeah yeah some of those games were like just as you call it swiss cheese oh yeah there there's just holes everywhere more holes than cheese more holes than Swiss ches yeah I like it yeah so yeah okay both going USC now that's going to be good for them and uh and not good for LSU but I don't think it's going to be bad for LSU USC's no I mean they'll be fine if they lose that game they'll be fine but USC can't if they're gonna crack yeah you it's it's almost detrimental for USC just because of how strong the big 10's going to be at the upper echelon yeah the top of the Big 10 is okay let's go I don't think it's too close but Georgia and Clemson I think it's George is going to roll over so my only question is how is there I don't know if we know how many suspensions have been given out to Georgia's program yet if any are still going on okay so that's kind of my big question that I think it's still the unknown as of this morning it was unknown okay um I haven't heard anybody talking Georgia wins but I don't I don't think it's going to be the biggest blowout if if their suspensions are still valid M okay I think Carson back's just better on the offensive side of the ball yeah than uh was it clinac however he pronounces the quarterbacks for Clemson um but I I I think Clemson's defense could surprise some people um you better hope yeah um but I think that's that's kind of The X Factor for this game is can is Clemson's defense going to be able to stop Georgia's offense because we already believe I'm assuming we both believe in Georgia's defense of abilities the last five years they're pretty okay yeah they're pretty good um but yeah I think it's Clemson's defense versus the uh the Georgia offense is Georgia is gonna run it down their throat or is Carson Beck just gonna sling The Rock so that's the uh it's kind of my big question and who who's going to be in their back field is it andn is it big big question mark they could have five running backs just running down Clemson's through F you know yeah so yeah be very interesting to see how that works out yeah yep um okay anybody else in this opening weekend that got your fancy um all give me your pen give me your Penn State West Virginia take I like West Virginia close really okay I I like them by like three I would say I would give them the three points because right now the spread is Penn State seven and a half money line for West Virginia is 260 um like you said it kind of it depends on how good drewal plays like is he going to come in and just light it up I also hate the fact that this is a away away game for week one for Penn State against a relatively decent week one opponent like it's not an akan it's not a right a Ford ham or you know some like FCS school like this is a big 12 school yeah that is known to put up some points um West Virginia's quarterback is a a decent dark course to possibly make a Heisman run really which is very interesting to me which is very interesting okay never heard of that I don't believe it oh okay but all right a dark horse is a dark horse so okay but if somebody's mentioning it maybe there is some some faith and some belief in that that offensive game plan okay to somehow back up that claim okay um but yeah it's an away game it's at West Virginia obviously and West Virginia crowd gets a little Rowdy so yeah that for a week one game that that helps that helps a lot and all it takes is just a little bit of momentum to to have an upset happen and we've already seen an upset in week zero so who's who's to say that this can't be one that would rock the Big 10 I would love it give me the chaos I love the chaos I know so here here's a question who is we'll stick with SEC and Big 10 so Big 10 the assumptions are OSU Oregon Penn State Michigan top four is right pretty much um who's the disruptor who can go in and and shake it up to the Assumption break the was it is it USC is it I I hate to say this but is it Iowa it could I think it's Iowa just because of the schedule can't believe you were saying that yeah I think it's I solely on the schedule wow now if you're going like just a pure talent Possible little disruptor if you're going talent wise I would say it's USC yeah but obviously that doesn't matter when it comes to the record yeah and your record is gonna and you have it's gonna mess it up I believe you're on the record of saying Iowa 11 and one yeah solely because of that schedule is is cake very easy same it's the same thing with Ruckers Rucker schedule's super easy yeah yeah yeah yeah I was thinking of Ruckers but I think the the biggest disruptor factor is Iowa yeah I think Iowa's got the talent to to uphold that possible record yeah and they have a solid defense yeah solid defense is going to be a new style offense I would assume with the new coordinator mhm um I would hope it's not nearly as boring um but lately I was been able to run the football well they just they've never had a quarterback that could throw the ball yeah decent at all so yeah they it that's kind of their big thing and they got old Cade back so that's gonna help yeah yep yep um I can't think his name uh Bruce Filman on Eisen show says he thinks that Michigan could go eight and four eight and four yeah Rich Eisen didn't like that comment but um rich is just doesn't think Michigan cheated either I know well yeah I kind of take his stuff with a grain of Soul yeah but it was then he says he Fel could definitely see nine and three because they have touch okay it wouldn't surprise he said it wouldn't surprise me if they were eight and four now that's not acceptable at M I would say new C no but it's also first year head coach who coached six games last year exactly yeah okay um and he's not I mean he's the okay yeah I agree I see it but yeah a now do do I think after that they're gonna be like they're not going to be happy about it they're absolutely going to be pissed about it but yeah if if there's any sort of any sort of season to not play well I would say it's year one with you losing a lot of talent to the draft losing hard ball to the Chargers um say it's a huge rebuild but you had some some guys transferred out yeah Conor St is not there anymore yeah you don't have the cheater or the cheaters yeah you know it's hard it's hard to play legit yeah yeah okay so you so we're both staying in Iowa with side order of USC on the disruptor right okay yeah yeah who would that be on who are the top four assumptions obviously Georgia Texas Alabama and om Miss Miss yeah I would says is a four then the disruptor could be Bama yeah see I think well especially if I'm looking at SEC as as there like a two- team assumption it's Georgia and Texas and I think Alabama is going to sneak up and kick somebody's butt okay I think I think Georgia I mean Alabama is a they're not afraid of anybody they have no reason to be their Heritage is we're not we're not afraid of anybody they got they had a good recruit they've got a a a you know a finalist uh Natty finalist coach I think I think the biggest surprise will be will be Alabama probably knocking off Texas I can see it yeah like we've talked about the whole quins thing I'm not the biggest fan I think he's good I don't think he's great um George is definitely the daddy of the SEC right now until somebody can knock him off right um but I don't think we're ever an old misses an Old Miss interesting because they have Lan K who's an offensive I guess you could say genius yeah to to a to an extent um it's B's interesting B's very interesting because I don't think anybody's putting any faith into them with the new head coach yeah I think people are saying they'll be good they'll have a winning record you know 9 and three whatever but I think they can do I think they can rock the top yeah especially if if they if they buy into a new coaching style right I mean if you buy into any program or into any sort of style like that that obviously benefits not only the coach that to benefit your program benefit your team right so yeah I mean if they bought in already and it doesn't sound like there's anything negative coming out of Bama's Camp so that has to that has to mean something yep y okay no news is good news so we're kind of in agreement there too huh yeah that's just scary I'm really I got to think about this anyway um so let's uh uh I know how much you love my trivia questions love them just love them the enthusiasm in your voice isn't quite what I would have expected but any here's the question for you what athlete has won a Super Bowl has a Super Bowl ring and an Olympic gold medal oh jeez Super Bowl ring and a gold medal what the hell this oh God I know probably mean Jack do do you are you able to finally okay now um which Le to my next question what is he going on with Jerry okay cidd gets a nice deal right oh I love it Michel doesn't get a Michael doesn't get an extension Dak doesn't get an extension what is going on here because we can't we can't afford anything well the longer he but the longer he waits the more it's going to cost him yeah and it sounds like as much as I don't want this to happen the more I see the more I read it sounds like dak's staying but what Doan and I don't understand how we're gonna have Dak and afford Michael Parsons because Mike is gonna get paid he has to get paid he's a he's a top five defensive player in the league yeah well you think but and he's insanely Versa Jerry said he's not even focused on that he's focused on the game the starting game he's not even working just needs to shut the hell up I'm so tired of him he's the owner he's the general manager I I am so over everything that is Jerry Jones you're like this this whole yeah I get it I could be a fan of the team I can hate the owner as much as I want believe me I'm a Cleveland Fan yeah I know the feeling it's this this whole like this whole Holding Out for CD's contract until here recently was stupid you know damn well going into OTAs or even the off SE before anything even starts you are paying that man there is no way in hell you are let CD L walk just put up an insane amount of yards last year then why not Micah and Dak because I don't think we can afford it we need to put a team together but if it's I don't think you can especially with the guaranteed money now how all that's just blown up but does Dak go into free agency next year and say the hell with it I hope so only for the fact that if he stays we can't afford anybody like there's no way there's no way you're affording anybody else if you extend back what can they what can they do with Micah though hope for the best hope for the best that he doesn't leave not exactly a strategy exactly but they they they've handcuffed themselves because of this Dak deal but can't they restructure I mean the Browns restructured Watson for God's sake I mean I would hope so I would hope at some point if they truly if if that can open my eyes to something that is positive outside of the regular season and he does something to prove I am worthy of top five money top 10 money and okay well I hope he gets some sort of an extension that doesn't just completely handicap the entire program well can but the way that everything is set up now and how much he's getting pay now his extension is going to be over 60 million a year right well can they because he's because dak's on the last year of his contract can they not uh for some whatever reason can they not restructure it they have to either give extension think so so they're stuck they can't actually because he's on the last I think they're stuck yeah I think they're stuck [ __ ] I mean pardon my French whose fault is that no you know what I mean it's Jerry Jones's fault it's Jerry Jones's fault yeah it's it's a it's always been Jerry Jones's fault but they so he fell he fell in love with the Dak regular season Dak which again like we've talked about numerous times regular season Dak is great he's a great regular season quarterback cool man but what do you what do you do come January you cannot you cannot blame that last playoff game on deck that mean the defense was oh no the defense is absolute ass yeah that game was terrible for the entire defense and it was an embarrassment to Dan Quinn yeah it's unacceptable but the Packers are also a play or two away from going to the freaking Super Bowl yeah so I I I give the Packers credit when credits due and they also own our ass so I can't even be mad about that either pack stadium in Dallas yeah it's AT&T Stadium it is cheese head stadium so it's annoying so is is is is Jerry still buying into the Dallas as the premier team in the country where America's team and he thinks it's worth more than that star on the helmet yes so a lot of people don't buy that anymore yeah it's he and the thing is that is frustrating to me if if something's not working he doesn't change it unless it's too late so like Jason Garrett perfect example we were so average for so long with him and then it took you so long to figure that out and then you boot and now we have this Mike McCarthy ordeal where we had what one or two decent regular seasons like last year we played well in the regular season that's fine the last three years it's 12 and five yeah but we don't do any thing after that's a problem well yeah but how do you I me know it's okay so but isn't isn't uh uh uh the fell you were talking about before M aren't aren't they perfect coaches for Jerry though yeah because Jerry just it's he's they're Jerry's puppet right right well isn't that what he wants and that's that is that's where I'm coming with this issue of Jerry is just reluctant to change yeah that's that's the until he leaves or until he wants to change something that is more beneficial to the team than him we're not going anywhere like we okay first off we didn't draft a running back that's red flag number one yeah we didn't have a freaking running back and you're just saying we're gonna resign our Long Snapper because we truly need him oh desperate yeah but get get the hell out of here like give me a break and then red flag number two Dax on the last year of his contract H everyone knows that didn't draft a single quarterback in any round cool you have Tre Lance who is just a turnover machine absolute train wreck Cooper Rush is just a very average backup quarterback m did well for us when he started which is great but he's not someone who doesn't take you to the playoffs and win games he's just not he's not that good what what am I missing something no I think youve you've nailed all the problems like am I missing something and you took forever to sign CD lamb who is a premier receiver in this league because you thought you can bully him guess what Cherry this guy can go wherever the hell he wants and get mad money and say we'll see you so can d toen Micah right yeah yeah oh God yeah if nobody if there's not one team that doesn't just hop on the fact that M par as a free agent you're an idiot you're just stupid and the thing is somebody will buy it on Dex some sort of new contract if he has a free agent somebody will always bite maybe the Browns who knows your Browns get a lot but it's just it's just stupid things that Jerry does that doesn't make sense in the long R he only cares about the now right yeah but you pay Dak a stupid amount of money that is just going to handcuff you for four years and if there is an additional extension he's not going to extend for the same amount of money he'd be stupid his agent would be fired so that that that just it ruins everything for the next extension even if he did play well even if Dak is a top three quarterback and you gave him this 60 something million dollar extension per year still handcuffs you you are still screwed to sign anybody else that is a premier Talent I.E Michel Parson is next up how the hell are we gonna afford that I don't look at what the look what the boses got paid for their extensions look at what some of these Corners are getting paid you're telling me this Swiss army knife on your defense is going to want basic money no he's going to want more money than the BOS say mhm he's gonna want way more money than TJ watt yeah and he'll get it and it's rightfully deserved how the hell are you gonna afford it now do you think do you think is is the is the uh um cap GNA go up next year is is Jerry banking on the cap going up or I I I I don't know I would at this rate it's going to have to cuz these contracts are just insane right right and and also the NFL is making a ton of money so right I'm sure all of that kind of goes into whatever expanded salary cap but yeah Jerry's not helping himself and he at the end of day he'll complain about you how this team needs to make it far whatever you're not making anything better if anything you're handicapping your entire team okay because you suck it's not the 90s yeah yeah oh yeah it's not the 90s anymore my guy yeah like something's got to change yeah yeah harsh reality from a random guy in Columbus Ohio I I just can't figure out what the what the uh strategy is is just nothing like yeah there there's no Rhyme or Reason that that's the other big big problem I mean he is he playing chicken like I don't know I don't know yeah he makes it they want because they're on the verge of a dynasty if not already a dynasty they can do whatever the hell they want yep San Francisco can kind of sort of do whatever the hell they want they just play in a Super Bowl yep Philly you can argue can do kind of whatever they want within reason yeah theyve won a Super Bowl here recently you know I think and they've also played in another one and almost one yeah yeah Jerry has no room for any sort of anything yeah yeah just do your damn job sit in your Press Box and shut the hell up do your job all right on that note let's end it with one simple question one simple and on the world of OSU football players there's one player that stands out above the Above the Rest he's on top of the mountain and his name is Archie Griffin who's right below him who's number two up long C Troy Smith Orlando Pace I feel like orando Pace has to be he's a Hall of Famer yeah um Troy Smith has a Heisman so he there's no reason to discredit that Eddie George Eddie George definitely um no Heisman yeah no Heisman but you think of OSU football Yeah Eddie George is one of the first CP names that comes up yep in my opinion at least um God there's so many there just that's that's the problem with this question that there's so many that's a bunch of number twos yeah there's there's a lot like I I feel like there's Archie and then just below him is probably Orlando Pace or Eddie George and then Troy Smith has to be somewhere in that third tier has to be and I know young but a hopong cassid got to be in there yeah and then you have all the guys that I would never remember right you know way before for my time right and then like you said before when we were talking it's do you involve coaches because if you involve coaches and that is a whole another headache yeah yeah let's not go down that road but but yeah and then there's there's a bunch of players from you know my generation previous players here recently yeah that you can argue like Ezekiel Elliott one of the best running backs to run through this program yep yep yep you could you could argue JK Dobbins for his time here yep was very impressive yep I mean the list on and on you I know it's not much because it was one season but like Maurice clarette's freshman year was absolutely insane National Championship in the national championship um I mean gosh Dwayne H Haskins had one year of just absolute greatness Justin Feld one of the best if not one of the best quarterback in U history mhm like it's it's insane the talent that's G through this program is unbelievable yeah yeah and then you go to the defensive side of the ball I mean gez yeah Jack Jack Tatum yeah the linebacker Trio that was AJ Hawk Bobby Carpenter and schel M I know that's three players but like that that Trio was scary as hell not to mention the back field of God take your pick um in the secondary but yeah I mean there's there's a lot of a lot of good players a lot of great players that's a tough question yeah I feel like you'd have to do it in tear to get everybody that's worthy of even being considered but yeah it's definitely Archie one pace two I would say Troy Smith's probably three or four and then everybody else is just kind of clumped together why Troy Smith that's the Heisman and he and his his career at Ohio State is very impressive again in my opinion no Natty no Natty no Natty of course which is kind of the downfall for him like he definitely needed one to cement that Legacy but his Heisman season was pretty okay M just just pretty okay but yeah I mean I feel like but we're talking to Pantheon of OSU football we're not talking about this was a great year we're talking about how does he how how has his impact how has his play impacted overall the Ohio State University football legend that's what we're talk I feel like it it it it set the threshold of how good you have to be as a quarterback and I think it started from from there on so like get K kzel game managing quarterback obviously National Champion but that Rex Kern National Championship undefeated SE yeah I know he way before your time yeah but he but I feel like post post Choice Smith like those quarterbacks had to be at that threshold and possibly better if that's possible and and I feel like if you if you weren't that good or even even mediocre to that standard you just got destroyed like just absolutely destroyed where do you put JT Barrett in there oh he has to be up there he has to be up I mean obviously no Heisman but yes there his time here was impressive very impressive yeah total total touchdowns I think he has I think he still holds the record yeah the greatest I don't know that he's the greatest shuttle passer in the U history yeah and then you all and if goes on with what Terrell prior his time here right great then obviously of course CJ Dwayne Fields hopefully will Howard for one year I know it's one but yeah hopefully the D threat ability is huge see the portal just changes everything yeah yeah I don't know you might not get a bunch of yeah twoyear starters even anymore you might just get one and done one and done one none yeah which is sad but yeah who knows yeah I mean we' also had the greatest third TR quarterback in college football history so that always helps too who's that Cardell Jones 12 gauge my guy 12 gage yeah yeah yeah can't forget about him dude's a legend yeah but yeah I I feel like Troy Smith's Heisman season set the standard of like this is what we need this is what we expect now obviously you're not going to get a heisen winner every single year a quarterback but that that is the I guess for lack of a better term the standard like this is how good you need to be and they recruited the best quarterbacks obviously but obviously that didn't also pan into National Championships year in and year out but okay all righty that's good information because that's tough after Archie it's a little murky yeah I feel like Orlando Pace is definitely a name that's like yeah yeah makes a lot of sense yeah Orlando but number one overall pick NFL Hall of Famer yeah obviously a great Bucky yeah and yeah everything else is kind of like you can pick and choose and argue it it it would almost make sense but I think a lot of people a lot of people would say would pick um um Eddie George over Troy just that makes sense I wouldn't argue it because he would because he's like he he came back and did a lot for the Buckeyes and the program I mean good dude good person all that stuff and that matters oh yeah it's huge from
