Sony announced their new PS5 Pro yesterday and uh it came with a price tag of $980 Canadian which is a little bit High I was expecting them to be a little low at around 800 but people have been saying that oh the PS5 Pro is too expensive it will be dead on arrival nobody's going to buy it and a PC is better to play games and I would much rather build a PC yeah so let's you know break down the price so I looked up the price of the bs5 pro it's $980 Canadian and it comes with 16 GB Ram DDR 6 Ram GPU custom CPU custom storage 2 tab I don't know why Sony didn't say that they had a 2 terabyte SSD I would argue that's a big selling point but whatever so if you want to build the same PC that's going to be 6800 R uh RX r on GPU this I found out from digital Foundry they said that this is a p GPU that will be closest to what the PS5 pro has to offer and that costs $737 and a ryzen 3 CPU is $169 a wd black storage of 2 tab is $214 RAM is $90 but I couldn't find that ddr6 Ram I could only find a ddr5 and um guessing the ddr6 will be around 120 and if you buy a normal mouse and keyboard it should cost you around $70 so without taxes the price of a PC in Canadian dollars will be $1,500 and so if my math is correct 980 is still less than 1,500 so yeah people much rather buy a PS5 to play games than the PC
