[Applause] man we'll begin this interview on a more positive notes your 50th game in charge today firstly how does that feel yeah it's a it's obviously a privilege to be in charge for so long and obviously at a at a club like cor and it's it's it's been a it's been a dream come through and I've I've enjoyed every moment of it and it's um not probably aart from today but it's been H yeah it's been really good and it's it's been an H honor and a privilege to to be a part of this club and be in charge of it is there a particular memory that comes to mind over the 50 games oh there's there's there's too many to to to go through it's I think just just probably my first game just to getting that opportunity to for the club to trusted me and believe me was uh was definitely a a highlight but yeah it's it's it's been a good journey so far unfortunately we do have to talk about the game today uh how did you view that per um it's it's a difficult one listen the first three games we I think we've been outstanding and we've done really well um and we've had Parts in in them games that we've looked a little bit shaky at the time but I think today I think we just punished for every mistake we made um obviously conceding after two minutes is is tough It's just gives you an uphill battle straight from the start and then to concede what I would call three three more soft goals is it's not good enough for our standards but listen this is this is football these Lads have been uh fantastic for us for a while now and sometimes you you let the guard slip and you get punished for it and it's about learning from these lessons just as much as I want to say a few things and go have a go with them they know themselves a half time I had to go with them and I thought we responded second half but now there's there's no point they um they've done it they're just going to have to lick their wounds they're going to have to learn from the mistakes and listen and I'll have to learn from my mist m akes i I changed formation slightly at for this game obviously because I knew what Brackley could could offer um it might have worked or it might have not worked if had I kept the same team but I'll I'll go back and look at look and be honest with myself and think did I do enough to prepare the lads and do the right things but I'm sure them Lads in there will will be thinking the same thing and have they done enough have they prepared or have they give give enough accounted himself on the field but it's definitely a lesson today for all of us and thankfully in 48 as we we get to make a so with the change in mind before kickoff today wearing coming in for ibr and a fiveback system being employed again away from home as you said was this a um thing against brle only yeah of course like listen I think if you look at our record last year our away record was amazing and we played back five pretty much every away game last year um and I think with the game on Monday and the the amount of running Isaac bookle rickets does in a game it's trying to give Lads a little bit of like sort of time to recover and rest with the game coming so fast and but did it's I don't have made a difference but it's something that will have to look at you know what I mean I think we we've done that formation loads of times before um so it's um it's one of then where we'll just have to make sure that we look back and see what's the best uh what's the best possible solution going forward the score line doesn't fully reflect how the game panned out with us controlling the majority of obsession would you say they more scored against the Run of play yeah listen Brackley are a good team and they'll punish you when you make mistakes and I think that's today where we probably we we weren't on the the right side of of the of this of the game where we just anything that fell for us didn't fell properly we had to work really hard to get chances um but yeah I think brle like they're they're as I said they're a tough team they've been in the playoff finals near the last two out or three I think and and they're a good side and if you do make mistakes they are going to be punished but I do believe that we we played some really good football as well we we look good we we created some chances and we we could have nicked one or two but listen that's that's football it will punish you if you if you don't if you let it and we've just got to learn now finally as you touched on before in 48 hours time we Face another opponent and Darlington how are we going into that one yeah well obviously as I said to the boys in the in in the dressing room there there's no point Sul there's no point in feeling sorry for yourself or a pointing fingers or looking for a reason come in Monday and give us a reaction that's that's all we can ask for now come in Monday and make up for what you thought you didn't do right today and I'm sure I'm sure the lads will and I'm sure if if they do that we'll we'll get a good reaction over and hopefully we'll be back to winways Monday but listen this is this is football it's it's going to happen performances like this are going to happen i' I've looked at the league table I know there's only four games gone but we're still in the playoffs let's let's take a positive from it today let's make sure that we're still in the playoffs come Monday
