did you know that you can fly on a couch all the way to Japan and that's actually what me and my kids just did on the couchy offered on A&A via their 8380 flights that operate between Honolulu and Tokyo's Narita now you can book the couchi in rows 71 through 76 of the a380s economy section and either a row of three or four seats you can book that Row for as few as one person or up to the maximum number of seats in the row now the seats look like normal economy seats at first but once you get to cruising altitude you can pull up the footrest section under the seat and make a completely live flat bed but we paid 620 on top of my economy ticket to have a row of three seats on the couchi for myself and an additional 560 for my kids to share a row of four now speaking just for me I would not want to share a couchi with anyone larger than a small kid though theoretically you could this is the perfect way to lay down get comfortable and nap away the hours to Japan for much less than business class and believe it or not having a whole row to yourself actually costs less than premium economy too
