WNBA Games for 8/27/24

hey guys I am back here in today's video I'll be talking about the women's NBA games that are played on August 27th so I'm going to go ahead and let you guys know the teams that played on this day so you guys will already know the teams that I'm going to be talking about in this video um so actually there was only one game that happened today and that was the Las Vegas Aces played against the Dallas wings um before this game um the Las Vegas this is coming back from allar break they definitely have been having a rocky part of their season um their first game back they lost to the New York Liberty then the game after that they would win that game against the Los Angeles Sparks then they would lose another game um then they would go and play the Minnesota links and two games back to back um series of games and they would Lo lose both those games and then they would go and beat theago Sky 77 to 75 that was a very close game so coming they're coming off a win at that um but in their last five games they've only won two of those games um so it's definitely not a good start for them especially already they already have almost double Mount the losses they had all of last season and last season their losses included their Lo one loss to New York Liberty in the um Championship Series in playoffs for the Dallas Wings they're another team too that has been really struggling as before this game they only had seven wins already this season coming back from Allstar break and Olympic break they definitely had High Hopes because they were getting back all their players back from injury and they would now be have a fully healthy roster the first game back they would lose to the Connecticut Suns then they would go to play in the New York Liberty and they would lose that game as well and they played New York Liberty again after that and they would lose that game coming back from Allstar break and definitely like it being almost like your first game with the whole team um it's definitely hard to play two teams like the Connecticut sun and New York Liberty twice so they did lose those three games um then they would go and play the Los Angeles Sparks and they would win that game so on their last four games they won one of those games at then um so like I said before both of these teams are healthy they don't have no injuries but one thing I will say is that the for Las Vegas Aces they did use their bench very well where they were giving their players their starters CU there it's been very unnown you know Las Vegas doesn't have a bench and they they're starter to play Heavy minutes every game so this part of the season when they were winning constant stly you know it was a couple of games here and there they were losing um they were using their bench a lot more but these last couple of games it's been very you know been spoking about them not using their as much um as for the Dallas Wings they're you know it's almost like they're getting a new start to their season because they are now fully healthy they got satu Sab back that has not played a single game this season they got matad Seager back from a broken finger they got Jaylen brownb the rookie who is now making her debate in the women's NBA who's been dealing with illnesses um you know those three players have been constantly injured for them so in this game this was a very close game um this was definitely a game that um Las Vegas you know was before this game they were in fourth place because due to the loss of the Seattle storms lost to the Washington Mystics um you know like I said this is a very close game um the with less than 10 seconds I want to say or 10 seconds or less um the Las Vegas would draw up a play and AEL Wilson would shot a three and missed the 3-2 Tile game so Las Vegas would lose this game um so the Dallas Wings won this game 93 to 90 like I said it was a very close game and on to the last play for the buzzer beer um and the Dallas Wings will now be 8 and 22 on the season and with this loss the L uh the Las Vegas Aces would now be 8 and 12 on the season this now doubles the amount of losses they had last year last year they had only six losses but that even include Playhouse losses so that's definitely a different side um you're seeing for this Las Vegas Aces team because in the last two seasons being under the coach Becky Heaven they have not had more than eight losses in a season with both seasons these past two seasons that she's been the head coach um when they've won the back-to-back championships um in this game the highest point player for the Las Vegas Aces was AIA Wilson she had 42 points six rebounds and two assists she also had three blocks in this game she shot 16 of 22 from this game is been very well known that Asia wisen's been working her butt off she's been working her butt off um as many of you guys seen from the Twitter post the game Day post where they show them dressing up before the game days you know um she's been wearing a white tea and wearing her wired headphones and you know she's been not dressing up you know cuz she's really going in in these games and it really sucks you know for her to score 42 points in her team still lose definitely shows that other players need to step up these players have been playing together for a while now that they just need to step up and really Pro show up because there will be there's this game um Chelsea Gray and Jackie young stepped up and then there was another game they lost that Kelsey Plum and adri Wilson were the highest scoring players but they didn't get nothing from Jack or Chelsea gr like everyone needs to contribute everyone needs to be on the same page if they have AJ Wilson scoring 30 to 40 35 points like she has been having and Chelsea GR is 15 or 20 and then Jackie Yan scoring 15 or 20 and then um Kelsey Plum scoring 15 or 20 and then you have Tiffany Haye scoring 15 or 10 or 15 Off the Bench and um Alicia cark scoring 10 or 15 they they will be hard to beat but you they don't have that constantly every game because there's some days where some players are they are offensively scoring and some days some games they're not um but another score I wanted to highlight was Jackie young for the Las Vegas Aces she had 17.6 rebounds and six assists in this game and for the Dallas Wings their players definitely showed up satu sa Natasha Howard arque um but the high scoring player in this game for the Dallas Wings was satu sa she had 28.7 rebounds and five assists in this game and another score I want to highlight for the Dallas Wings in this game was Natasha Howard 24.6 rebounds and one assist with this win this would now put the Dallas Wings on a two game winning streak the Dallas Wings will now go and play the Minnesota links in their next game and then the Indiana Fear after that the Minnesota links is definitely going to be a test for them but you know it's going to be a very good game and for the Las Vegas Aces they will go off and play the Atlanta Dream in their next game and then after that the V the Minnesota oh my God the Phoenix Mercury um and they both have the Las Vegas Aces has lost a game to both of those teams so it's definitely going to be that the the team just needs to figure out what they're going to do and how they can be successful the rest of these games that they have and what they want if they even if it's something they want to do is work their butt off to make a chance in playoffs at that the way it looks this season it's not going to look go very well for them and to get at least a top four seed to host at least playoffs um but yes but that is my breakdown of the women's inba games that were played on August 27th um please like this video If you guys enjoy me
