COLLEGE DORM MOVE-IN || @ the university of texas at austin 🧡2024!!

[Music] [Music] [Music] hi guys welcome and welcome back to another video today is college mov day and I'm super super excited I'm currently at sophomore at the University of Texas Austin hook and I'm basically going to be walking you all through the process of what movein feels like and all the crazy things that happened during movein day right now I still need to pack certain things in my car and you guys are going to help me do that okay so currently in this bag I have all of my laptop chargers portable chargers like everything that are Chargers it's literally inside of this bag and I have my cute little plush squish mellow at the top which I always take to college with me and on this chair I have my backpack I have like my school supplies and then just my laptops but I still need to pack my iPad my iPhone charger and that's basically all before I literally say goodbye to my room which I'm totally going to miss but I need to pack these inside of the car so let's do that okay guys I am in my car the sun is brighter than anything else right now I am not complaining but I literally need a wrap up my hair Texas weather is really not my favorite so I'm going to wrap up my hair because it's too hot in here okay hair is wrapped but I'm going to be showing you guys like everything is so packed inside of the car I have my suitcase where I have my skin care oh my gosh that should be closed okay and I have my backpack um where I have like all of my Chargers this is like all the other things that I'm bringing into my dorm and it's just like there's literally no space in here this is so crazy and I don't even know where I'm going to sit like this is like I need to make room for myself because I I think there's something else is going to go on top of here so I need to make room for like my backpack and like myself so I'm going to see how that will go oh my God I'm going to go back and I'm going to keep putting stuff into the car okay guys I am back inside and I need to pack my air purifier this is the only thing that's I'm missing right now and it is currently in my room so I literally need to back it inside of here again so we're going to be doing that right now and this is probably going to be like kind of heavy so okay guys my dad helped me put the air purifier in the box and also put it here and um I literally have to like scooch this all the way back okay fair I'm literally going to be sitting here I need to put this in the middle I don't know how because my sister going to be on the other side my family's going to come with me so I need to make room and that's what we're dealing with right now okay guys so I'm sitting in my spot so basically this is how I'm going to sit the whole car ride and and I just wanted to try out like how if I feel comfortable of course it's not as comfortable but we'll make it and that is what matters right now it is currently like 5:00 I think and um I booked my moving time to 10:30 p.m. I know some of you are going to look at me like I'm crazy I'm not sure if other colleges do the same thing where you can like book during the nighttime but I did the nighttime because it's less crowded and also I cannot not do movements in this weather like it's so freaking hot literally more than 90° the Texas weather during the summertime is just so crazy I cannot do this during the day and I'm literally kind of sweating although I already took a shower like 2 hours ago because the weather outside is just so crazy but we are getting ourselves situated to get on this car ride and I'll let you guys guys know when we're heading to Austin okay guys we're currently pumping gas and we're on a road to Austin and we're going to make a few stops further down when we get closer and I'll give you guys an update of what we do and if we get there but right now the car is literally packed and I'm sitting like in a corner but yeah hi guys I currently in the elevator and I am trying to find my room and I'm super super excited um this year is going to be a bit different because I'm gonna have to open the door with the key and last year it was just like with my ID so I kind of got used to that but let's see sometimes some people struggle with like opening doors so I just don't want to be that like I just want don't I don't want to be struggling trying to open the door okay I'm super excited I love this okay now I literally need to get over my excitement because I need to move everything in my dorm and I'm going to be doing that so my parents are going to help me and I'll see you guys later okay guys I am currently in my dorm again my parents helped me unload so many things out of the car I think so far I have everything in my room and I'm going to be showing you guys like this is literally a mess this is how everything looks right now it's just so many bags and I can't wait to put all these things in their correct places inside of my room but so far I think I going to start with cleaning all surfaces and then I'm going to move to like cleaning the floors and cleaning the bathrooms and then after that I think I'm just going to decorate my room and then I'm going to make my bed and do all those fun things and I'm going to be showing you guys the process and how long it would take me to do all those things [Music] okay guys so I literally wrapped my hair up because I am literally getting really really sweaty my parents helped me out to put like the toilet paper on top and right now I have a bag full of hangers and I'm going to put all these hangers here and it's really really crazy because I have a lot of clothes so after this I'm probably going to unpack most of my clothes and I'm literally going insane but we're going to get this done [Music] okay guys now I have my suitcase here and I need to pack all of my clothes and hang it not pack I need to pack no I need to pack I need to hang my clothes and I have it in this big old suitcase so I'm going to be taking my clothes out until 10 a.m. [Music] okay guys I am done with my closet and I'm going to show you guys how it looks I am super super tired it is currently like 5:20 a.m. and I'm just like H so tired I but this is how my closet looks I just have those down there and then my clothes couple of shoes couple of other shoes and just toilet paper at the top and that's basically all for now um I have extra hangers for some reason and then just like my bedding and then it's just very crazy right now actually thought I was going to get more more than half done but I'm super super tired um my mom and my sister were helping me but my dad literally fell asleep like because we're all tired we like drove for like 3 hours and I all I know is that last night I did not sleep at all because I was packing last minute and now I'm not sleeping again I'm I'm literally pulling an old nighter like twice in a row and it's so bad like I feel like I can't even speak properly but it's fine we just have um all of these things and then my dad is just sleeping there and yeah it's just looking so crazy right now I'll give you guys an update when we're doing better [Music] hi guys it is day two of college moving I know I left you guys in the Cliffhanger last night it was very hectic and like everything was happening and we got it done which is what matters and I didn't get to film which is like the biggest part where I'm like ah but um you guys are still going to see the room and I'm going to be showing it to you guys and I am super excited and I also just want to say that I know that I didn't get like enough Clips but my my battery died last night and all certain things were happening but I'm proud that we got it done and you guys are going to be able to see it okay guys so I have my clothes here and then my suitcase with toilet papers and then my shoes over here I have like a water pack at the bottom and that's basically all I have in my closet right now then to this section um there's like a couple of drawers here but I just put like a jewelry box and a cute little perfume and then like shower um caddy and there's just like a cute mirror so this is how the desk area is kind of looking right now I know it is crazy I still need to organize stuff like I feel like it's just I feel like I just put stuff there but I still need to organize it I have my purifier there um but yeah that's just like the desk area and how it looks so far right now and my backpack and my cuty little cart and then my bed this is my bed right now I still need to organize stuff and just those cute little decorations there but yeah that's basically what I have right now and the desk decorations cute little clock those things and they're super pretty and that's all okay guys so that is all for my room right now those are cute Little Snips of my room and I know that it's not fully completed yet I still need to organize and add in more decorations I will be doing that pretty soon but I just want to say that I'm so thankful that I got it done and a big thank you to my parents as well because they helped me throughout this process and I just want to say that you guys will also be seeing the completed version pretty pretty soon that's super excited but with that being said I love you all so much stay positive throughout your whole school year and I'm wishing you all the best
