PS5 Pro Disc Drive Is Being SCALPED! - Sold Out on Walmart, Amazon and Best Buy!

reveal and if we go to the Amazon listing here as you can see it is actually sold out and people are now selling it and scalping it can you believe it people are scalping the disc drive of the PS5 digital Edition now if you don't know now you know the PS5 disc separate disc drive came out with the PlayStation 5 Slim because the PS5 Slim came in two variants a dis a dis variant and a diskless digital variant um and a lot of people wanted to potentially play their physical library on the PS5 Slim So they bought the disc drive separately I believe it was for about $79 for a disc disc drive that just slaps onto the side of the PS5 slim well apparently it's cross compatible now with the PS5 Pro so you know all the Uproar about the PS5 Pro being a digital only console well good news you can still buy a disc drive that's if you can get your hands on them because people are now scalping them can you imagine PS5 people are scalping the PS5 digital Edition disc drive what kind of world are we living in should we do a disc drive restock stream I don't know so let's take a look at the news and see what could who's got to say about it so according to one site the PS5 blue Blu-ray Drive is selling out selling recently released platformer astrobot so more people are buying this than they're buying freaking astrobot which is absolutely nuts yesterday Sony officially unveiled the PS5 Pro after months of rumors and leaks and the Z up console will cost $700 let you play many games at higher frame rate and doesn't come with a disc drive that last part of simly led a lot of people buying up a PS buying up PS5 disc drives leading in turn to the console accessory selling out on many sites um on September 10th Sony announced the PS5 Pro and the reaction was a lot of people are going holy crap 700 bucks mixed with people going wait it doesn't come with a disc drive nope and guess what it doesn't even come with a stand either and we're covering it in last couple days and we're going to be covering the PS5 Pro as it comes up to release on November 7th so stay tuned to my channel like subscribe click the Bell icon if you can cuz we're going to be covering this a lot I could already see the headlines now so um XBox Series S and PS5 digital Edition the PS5 Pro Pro doesn't include a disc drive but Sony does offer an optional optical drive that you can buy for about 80 bucks and slap onto your PS5 and this drive will work on a PS5 Pro um this drive is currently sold out on Amazon and Best Buy shipping that is crazy guys so all the hate that the PS5 Pro is getting right now it can't be that bad because people are scalping the PS5 disc drive in the 24 hours since the PS5 Pro official official release it has become harder to buy a PS5 blue Blu-ray Drive currently Amazon Best Buy and Target are sold out over at Walmart according to the stor tracker 100 plus people have bought a PS5 Drive in the last day or so another 200 plus people have it in their car currently meanwhile on Amazon the PS5 disc drive is the fifth bestselling video game related item and is currently out selling physical copies of astrobot can you imagine so that is crazy so let's take a look over on Reddit and see what people have to say about this that I am I'm not going to lie I'm surprised somebody says toxic Mike says I hope scalpers shoot themselves in the fot again good luck and ging and already over pric product with a look warm at best reception Sony's got like zero motivation to keep these in stock yeah next gen we aren't getting dis drives maybe something else like Nintendo does but a 100 GB chipstick media can't be cheaper right partly even sourcing Blu-ray drives now is hard in the Pro is the pro going to use the same disc drive as the slim someone says yes it is I can confirm too I can only hope that the ps6 has a version that has a directly intact and connected directly intact and connected dis drive it has to be scalpers again if so then Sony will win twice Sony will get to sell the disc drive to scalpers and once PS5 Pro buyers can't buy the disc drive they will buy their games digital from Sony that is true that's true it makes you wonder is there a bigger picture at play here are Sony intentionally keeping the stock of the disc drive low to force people to buy more digital games that would be clever or maybe just the PS5 Pro or the PS5 disc drive separate disc drive just wasn't in demand beforehand so they never really had to I had to really never had a motivation to ramp up the production of it hence why maybe stores maybe kept a low supply of them just because they didn't sell and now that obviously you were going to need them for the PS5 Pro you know everyone's buying them and they're selling out easy because they never had a big Supply to begin with so maybe Sony's going to change this going forward maybe Sony's going to start producing producing more of them on account of the new PS5 Pro needing one if you have a disc collection you want to use but like cha M cha cha M says here maybe some's doing it intentionally H H it would be smart but kind of crappy too anyways guys let me know what you think in the description obviously a little bit of PS5 Pro news I'm pumping videos out about PS5 Pro every day I feel like and I'm kind of hyped up for it I'm getting like At first there was like 700 bucks no DH Drive no stand no new games just an improvement but as far as like someone who Maybe doesn't have a PS5 yet or maybe as far as someone who's been wanting to get a second PS5 and like have a PS5 for the other room or something or to hand down to somebody you know there's there's a there's a there's a path there to get one is a little bit pricey I when you consider the disc drive on top of the $700 and then you consider the the $30 stand on top of that you know we're getting to like place we're getting to PC territory here like just buy a PC but I'm going to be sticking with a PS5 for now 7x's because the 7x's work with PS5 and Xbox and I've used them for four years now they feel brand new the foam padding on them is still like it's not worn at all and that's the first time I've ever said that about a pair of headphones um I mean I've had headphones that are $200 $300 that I've worn down after a couple of months or a year you know but these still feel brand new the performance is good they're really good quality and these new ones they have Bluetooth as well as the 2.4 GHz dongle so you could you know for the low latency audio you can plug the dongle into every device that you want to use them with and then if you want to listen to music on them connect them to Bluetooth via your phone they're a hour battery life USBC charging Gen 2 AI mic and software you can configure them with on your PC it's like a win win I mean $150 when you consider they're really good for music as well isn't really that bad and it's got retractable microphone as you can see here it's just such a good deal um I really want these new ones I really want these new ones I've got the old ones but I mean these are still working fine these are for the Xbox if you want to get the Xbox Ones the 7 X's um these work with PS5 as well and they work with Xbox so you know it's you know it's a win-win for the green ones but if you like blue and you like PlayStation you know licensed PlayStation stuff and you're okay with them not working on Xbox then obviously the 7xs are to go for um and that's for my steam Deck videos but also the LG oad is the best TV you can buy for gaming it's got like four three or four HDMI 2.1 ports that that each of each support 4K 120 not many TVs have four of them you're lucky to get one of them in TVs nowadays so that's pretty good and it's a freaking olad it's got beautiful like it's got a beautiful image the colors are vibrant it's bright um the Deep blacks and obvious L the 120 HZ 4K is just a dream so there's two V versions I'd recommend the 42 in and the 65 in they're both fantastic um 65 in obviously you know be good for a living room or a bedroom if you know just want a big Cinema like experience the 42 in is also pretty good it's good for maybe like if you want to have a desk set up with a massive screen on your you know for your gaming PC or your PS5 and just chill out in your office in a smaller space but still have a big screen that's also really good um so yeah 42 in 65 5 in I'll put the links to all these and more in the video description go check them out it's you know I I don't share it if I don't use it right and also
