midland. Not a bad time to be outside on the street Zola next week. Even better weather heading our way once again. So looking pretty good. Meantime, today made it up to 78 degrees. Even. >> With a fair amount of cloud cover a little bit below the normal high of 80. >> Low 63 again, 2 degrees below where we should be 97. 48 the record for the date thereof. Safe back in the books for another year. Sunset 7.19, and we're losing daylight little by little here. 74 in town right now. 75 White Plains, 72 Belmar. So we don't see that big spread in temperature from coast to inland spots. Although Newark, a little warmer as it is in Caldwell still at 79 degrees, had a fair amount of cloud cover to start. Then to turn partly sunny in spots this afternoon and now into the evening hours, the partly cloudy sky, big system, offshore state offshore. So we didn't get involved with any of the rain from that. We will not escape the rain from this cold front, though, that sitting out to the west of us and that starts the press in our direction during the day tomorrow. So in future cast heading out this evening, going to worry about in terms of any type of rain, kind of a mild night could be a couple of sprinkles tomorrow morning in spots. This money be a little overdone. Notice the low temperatures even in the suburbs only in the 60's overnight cloud cover kind of traps and heat. So not the chilly mornings that we saw most of this past week. Meantime, the front gets closer tomorrow. This is noontime eastern Pennsylvania. It looks like it approaches the city. 3, 4 o'clock with the heaviest line of shower and maybe some thunderstorm activity better there. So some brief heavy downpours, not out of the question. And then the front gradually slides off towards the east. That could be one last round of showers between about 7, 8, And then I think after that everything dries on out again, leaving us with a much better Sunday, a little cooler. so partly cloudy skies tonight. It's quiet for your Friday night. Get out, enjoying not a problem. Couple of early showers tomorrow, but a better chance for showers and some thunderstorm activity possible later tomorrow afternoon into the first part of tomorrow night. Then the front presses off to the east. The wind kicks into the West and northwest some cool Canadian air comes in at least briefly on Sunday. So temperatures struggle even with sunshine around on Sunday to get to that 70 degree mark in the afternoon. But as this high begins to get closer kind of stretches out a little further south, that compared to what happened this past week. We have a warmer flow of air heading our way, but it looks like another quiet week heading our way too. The sizzling Mets reds in town. Let's keep it going, guys. 73 degrees first pitch temp only dropping to about 70 towards the end of the game. But again, nice baseball weather partly cloudy sky not to worry tonight. 66 does it in the city. A few 50's and some of the suburbs with a partly cloudy sky into tomorrow. The risk for showers and thunderstorms will tend to increase the deeper into the afternoon. We go into the 1st half of tomorrow evening as well. High temperature about 75. The change comes on Sunday with a gusty wind giants kicking off the NFL season. 71 degrees upper 50's at night but look at the bounce back from Monday. We're in the upper 70's and that's what I'm talking about next week. No storms, no rain as it stands
