Mykel Williams wants Georgia defense to make a statement against Clemson

a long fall just uh your thoughts on Clemson week one get after it yeah I am man especially in opposite Jersey uh it's been a long fall like you said CLS great team watch the little tape on on the side of the player great quarterback great offensive scheme yeah Michael over here to your right do you feel like this trans transition to to Jack and this position change has been a little bit overwhelm for you feel like you're still have kind of the same responsibilities Co smart laid it out as if nothing's really changed just with some additional roles yeah kind of exactly that like ain't really too much change I'm just going to do a little bit a little bit of stuff different it's really kind of the same thing guess natural follow up to that is is what is different how has your role changed over the last eight n months no I wouldn't really say it changed I say I just say a little bit I do a little bit more on first and second down I yeah uh John Jackson obviously a relatively new to the return of football played Middle School you know coming back to it now in college what have you seen from the big 6' 10 offensive back exactly that man huge got extremely long arms he has he has athleticism in his body so he he definitely has the talent to be something with hard work and dedication obviously you weren't here yet to have played in that 21 game against Clemson but what what is your uh kind of feeling on that program as a rival being just 73 mies up the road and how much of uh how much juice does that provide for you know this this game in particular clemon is a great opponent it definitely provides like a level of excitement given their history especially over the last 10 years they won mulp national championships and uh with devil swinging being a great coach I just know they're going to be a well coached group and they're going to be physical uh you got Matt Luke is their opposer line coach I know he loves that cter andys and I I expect them to be physical okay what does a successful season look like for you and do you have any personal uh winning the national championship that's my goal that's really that's really I want to win another one back so that's that's really what focus on this year is there one guy flying under the radar that we might not see in practice who if we ask you at the end of the year you could say Michael call the week one he was going to have a breakout season it's just too many guys to name like that we got man we talent I ain't going lie We Got Talent all over the field and it's especially we got a good group of young guys that's that's going to be able to help us what did you see from Christian Miller during this fall Camp man this probably the best Camp I seen uh Christian have he uh he worked hard every day came in with the right mindset just to get better and grow and uh I'm excited for him for this year J coming in similar Build To You Wish have you seen him develop and how try to draw that him up so Qui yeah Joseph is going to be a special player uh I feel like with time man and and and he te to work hard how he has been he going to be a real special player he got great talent great size G great strength and he going to help us you spend some time with Carson I guess Dallas how would you describe just his disposition his personality with teammates yeah car is a great guy he a real team guy he's a real leader not locker room and he's a great guy to hang with to chill to talk with you talk any trash on the field at all uh i a n I'm n he don't just uh practicing against the offense um which of the running backs would you say is the hardest to bring down at or behind the line of scrie we're so tent that running back I love them I love them have they like thing about them like even if one of them got good Cuts one of them got good power one of them just Seline sine sideline all love my heart to bring down just so you guys are going back to the B you played there a few times just how do you feel about playing uh in that building is there any advantage to having played in the L I mean it's in Atlanta so I feel like uh we always have a great turnout when we play in the BS and I just just I like Mercedes V I like Stadium I I like playing there our fans show up and show out so I feel like we had that Advantage yeah what have you seen from uh marro freeling during his time here and uh you especially going into year two as it's t here for yeah Monro he's growing as a player for sure he's he's definitely a great player he he can definitely help us you talk about kid Club said thought he was a great player what is it about him you see say stands out game how slippery he is he he finds his way out of pocket a lot he's a stands plays I noticed that about K he's slipp he's heart R now yeah last time you guys played Clon so you weren't here yet but defense makes a big statement in that game what do you want to have people saying about this defense coming out of this first game against we're physical we all I compete and our hustle that's something we hang our hat on I hope that people can see that and what we do Saturday what do you see in Phil mafa running back their entire rushing he's talented yeah now Phil mafa he's a great back he's patient uh he runs hard and he's strong he like 230 I think like 61 230 he's solid back last week I think it was at car gave you guys gifts yeah yeah how what does that mean some of your team leaders something like and that's dope man everybody everybody can listen to their own music and pce now but uh they blessed us with the beats and they had a nice design on it and we really enjoyed it and liked it I think it's safe to say no one can feel Brock's shoes but what are you seeing from Oscar just growing as a leader you think he's ready to F that voice that yeah for sure this whole offseason I've been noticed Oscar like take like steps to be more of a leader more vocal and just even like with his actions just in the weight room and how he Sprints and just how he moves that practices so I definitely seen taking that step any more questions for Mel all right M thank you thanks m
