overcooked there still a couple of break back points though a little bit wild that time on the forehand side from Erica and draa 15 love first solid serve p left big booming serve right at the start of the year it is and an upwards trajectory for Jen 15 now the plans are allowed to move freely in between the very beautiful well struck weight moving into the court nice combination stay down on maybe very solid stop it was a terrific return there from Jen that's what the best players can do just turn up the dial a little bit and that's what we saw there from Jang that's good stepping in taking command the seven seat another good look at just the power of Jang nice one two punch from Andrea too much there from Erica swinging serve just cannot lay a racket on it Andrea good St from Jen [Applause] back 13 left here in this opening set and and really only winning 58% of those it's a good one there great placement close 15 well competitive match so far Erica and draa holding her own here ni [Applause] there beautiful that one was a little a little deep but it was effective was able to find the opening there on the passing shot well done on the stretch thing just couldn't quite get there 14 strong serve again a that's clever there was a lot of space to work with there for an D Jen was someway behind the Baseline soft touch from Andrea and late disguise it's all about there she was about to just kill that forehand and just drops it over delic with the drop well it is the break through that's what she's been searching for [Applause] 15 [Applause] C lovely touch that is such a a delicate play there from Andrea drop shot and she disguises it extremely well waits for the very last second to cut underneath the shot well disguised 14 just finding her spots with more Chinese number one perhaps a very solid start Mikey Pereira in the commentary box alongside Katrina Adams has slowed down a little bit um with her game it's fallen off quite a bit you think back Erica and draver oh oh what a great combination from Andrea beautiful combination drop shot and then the Top Spin lob great execution good racket head acceleration on that slip through the fingers now of Jen back to juice that slips on by again very first game of the deciding set feels like a very very important one five so good that's one of the best constructed points we've seen from Jen there's an excited fan about it as well see in the middle of the Court really controlling it great body control shoulder shoulder turn look at that racket H break point number six for Jen and that comes and go huge game this is turning [Applause] into that's a tough shot to try to redirect down the [Applause] line it does seventh time lucky as Jen makes her early move in this deciding set look at that 12 minutes that [Applause] game oh good catch in the crowd there very sharp hands 30 solid well is she just going to keep her foot on the gas here Jang I mean she's really serving well and I think that's something that it's 85% of our first serves 14 to turn this around but it's not going to be easy with that sort of serving from Jen stages of the match right [Applause] [Applause] clever shot really does have that one in the locker she's played that so well the line [Applause] was wise to it was Jen got up to it but it was nicely played by Andrea just taking enough of the the pace off the [Music] ball sharp on the return [Applause] great [Applause] combination but that just helps her so much time and time again there's another that is vicious out [Applause] wide I like this resilience though from Erica and D these are Big moments for her advantage j rock and roll serve again spe K now [Applause] Miss Jen she's now at seven 1 15 allow her to breathe a little bit 14 15 there you go good stuff ER Andrea tell you what she is still in the conversation here it's just the one break of sered three games to two final sets can't you keep on ticking off the games or will Andra just caus some problems here [Applause] even though she's got a resilient Erica Andrea at the opposite end finding ways to 4 the serve is still on fire you have to give her a lot of credit 14 [Applause] 15 terrific serving once again from Jen [Applause] and that an absolute beautiful a lot of room there tra came in look at that problems here they are mounting for and draver she is nearly there now well over 200 Aces this season for her well as well as she not quite Saw the space couldn't quite found the space there another that's a teasing one g finish style why not everybody there's another [Applause] race and another win coming from a set down for the second time this week Jen kinen she means business here in New York and a smile to light up grants that what a way to finish I mean Jen just really took it up another level after dropping dropping that opening set
