yeah I guess it was part of their game plan um to try and get us out of a rhythm and I think it worked for a little bit um and then once we settled down um we realized and what they were trying to exploit and spaces they were trying to exploit um which we knew coming in that they were going to try and do um they changed a little bit of a pattern of how they were doing it um but credit to the guys it was a a gutsy performance um to be able to win in that fashion uh yeah I mean I'm super happy for Jason and uh obviously cooo uh we spoke before the game about and told him the importance that he he brings in these games um how we as a team need him to to step up in these in these situations um and he came through yet again can you talk about the growth you've seen from K your coach said it's not just him it's um this whole team has kind of helped him grow throughout the season can you talk about that yeah um I feel like part of my role on this team is task to try and help him continue to grow and that was part of a big um thing that I mentioned when we had conversations about me coming to Columbus was I've always felt that I get the best out of out of guys um that I play with um guys have career years when whether I'm in the lineup or not and I'm involved in the locker room and I think I get the message across AO and he's got a lot of respect for myself and um that we've earned U that I've earned off of him and vice versa um and he trusts me a lot so uh when I tell him something he takes it uh to heart and um I'm super thankful for that friendship and that relationship on the pitch and off the pitch um but yeah he's growing tremendously and you can only continue to see where he's going to go um if he gets um better in certain areas and can you talk about what it was like on the bench those final minutes before you scored and then obviously coo Jason scores what the that was like watching that yeah um electric uh we knew that coming in uh uh there's been games where the bench has been very vital for us um and that's been through throughout the last two years um and this time it was Jason's turn to bring a spar a spark sorry and he did um fantastic fashion uh he's clinical and to be able to win in that fashion was incredible coo again played a very similar ball that he played in the semi-final um for Diego to dive in score this time it went in so yeah it was great because we felt at the end they were're playing to to get the draw to go to PK so to be able to win it was awesome
