J how do you describe that game because physical to watch very defensive not not not as offensive but you found a way so how do how do you view it uh gritty very gritty game uh super proud of the guys for defensively getting it done all night offensively getting it done when it needed to be done fourth down plays in the second half you guys got stupped on the one early in the game what what are those moments like as as the quarterback when they call it in and say hey we're going for it and you know you had to get the ball to the guy obviously what you're doing with the speed option what are those moments like yeah I mean it's it's something we prepare for so uh it's not new to us um it's obviously high stress moment High emotional moment but you know we we practiced them all week long so we are just ready to go out there and execute you know it's uh it's it's different than another play but it's not different than another play we just everybody's out there going to execute their job they know fourth down is important uh but yeah that you want on that fourth and one that Miles carry on did you check into that play like was kind uh no yeah that that play was drawn up from the beginning of the week uh it's great play call by coach once he called it in I was like oh this is going to be good got him in man like zero Blitz basically sent the house and we knew we can get the back on the edge with a low speed option and so miles did a great job and nothing like 37 yards on fourth and one will you tell us the name of it we don't there's no special like Tom and Jerry name tell you that much so the play doesn't have a name uh nothing crazy it's just something stupid that you guys wouldn't even care to know yeah yeah mentally just stay in there after you know a couple of mistakes and just you just kept scrapping fighting yeah well when you got guys like five on the field you can always be confident and what the offense is going to do so um I think we just lean on each other it speaks a lot to the culture of us of our team is that we could have a tough outing in the first half only be down two feel like we played bad and then come back in the second half and play good enough to walk away with the win you had that screen pass guy good play on it your defense then comes back and gets another Bumble you know gets the Buble gets you guys the ball back it's a team game obviously that's Kanani focuses on all three phases but what's that like like being able to go back out and be like okay you know we got we got the ball back without giving up any points yeah it's really nice to have a defense like that that goes out there flies around and makes plays all over the place and what I love about defense is what I love about our defense is it can be any given any given guy on any given play um and they made a play there and got us the ball back which was huge ask that's question about the defense how much how much confidence does that just give you guys they're out there doing what they did tonight yeah we we didn't really give them too much help tonight so um they just had to they kind of had to put in overtime today um and it's always good we can have guys where we can lean on like that because offense is not always easy to go out there and put points up but when you got guys like that and you know you going get the ball back it's it kind of like make the mistakes that you that you have be okay we get another chance to go here and and right or wrongs daras that catch and run that you made where does that rank all play that's probably like a top five play yeah for for me for sure um yeah I was just just wanted to make a play for the for the team um and so uh I just felt I just felt that the opportunity was there and uh I just kind of didn't want to be deny going down what were they doing to to cause you guys problems particular during that first half things were going was anything was doing or did you more your execution uh yeah I think that they came out uh in the first quarter especially and threw some coverages at us that was like a super small percentage of what the stuff they do and so not that we weren't prepared for it but it was a little different um and then they kind of fell back as the game went on they kind of fell back into their base defense and that's where we started find success in the second half is like we knew we knew what defense we're going to go against in this in that third and fourth quarter they're going to fall back on what they know and and we I feel like we knew it based on film throughout the week um but yeah props to them and their DC for coming out and change up the looks uh in the first quarter and making it tough on us early you say about the performances of miles and KCK you know stepping in reserves some big moments shoot that's our team I mean any given guy in any given moment somebody asked me who my favorite receiver was the guy who's open it's the guy's going to make plays and that's so many guys on on our team like last week Chase went for over 100 this week Darius was 60 Tava with 42 receiving yards and a touchdown like it's a guy it's any given guy in any given moment how many guys do we have in the rushing stat like seven how many guys in theing stat like nine or 10 like that's just our team I feel like that everybody stepped up and playing at a different level this year and and it's awesome to be able to like a guy like LJ goes down and and eni can come in and make plays like ran for a touchdown made a bunch of plays in The Run game runs hard and physical and I tell you what the guys we believe in Eno like he might not be the guy on the poster but he's going to be the guy who's going to get it done at the end of the day when his name's called Darius what you heard about the guy sitting next to you had a little bit of a tough second half and leaving those two scoring drives at the I thought money what you kind of learn about J yeah I just kind of I just kind of learned about JJ he's he's a tough guy he's he's not going to get it down uh I came to the sideline told him hey we got everything we want right here we just got to settle down we got to we got to play our game and he did that um he executed a great drive at the end and to get us down there um and then ultimately he he made the decision to go down to me to a play uh at the at goal line that I felt like I should have made um even though it was a low contact I feel like I can make that play and that's just the trust that that he has in me so uh next time he do it I'm going to make that play for him we good
