in this video we are on a mission to indulge in all the classic fair foods and see just how much it costs to enjoy everything this year let's go 700 a.m. they just opened there's a line for this [Music] this is a maple cream Nitro cold brew it was from like the Farmer Insurance place or something and it was $9 for 20 o there was also a smaller one for a bu last I like [Music] it it's the holy ham loaf sandwich from the Hamlin din Hall the Hamlin Church dining hall was established in 1897 making it the longest running food concession at the fair $13 is it not new the holy hamloaf sandwich which debuted in 2019 features a Savory hamloaf between two pieces of egg in the whole toast alongside cheddar cheese and sauteed [Music] onions they're so good I love them but I like pasta spaghetti and meatball dinner on a stick located just inside the food building at Oodles of Noodles debuted back in 2013 it has been a hit ever since it wal IE on a stick what people do if you're here early this is the time to grab your cheese curds without the wait Trust Me by midday this place will be a mad [Music] house okay this is the Viper turkey from sausage by Cynthia it was $5 for two of these pieces I'm already sweating from not eating food so it's about as spicy as eating half of a hinero pretty [Music] spicy I'm trying The Gourmet from fried pickles that's the name of the St guess two pickle chips with cream cheese in the middle and then it's breaded and fried and they give you some ranch to get in the hottest new item at this year's State Fair is deep fried Ranch you can find it at Lulu's Public House look at that line there's no way I'm waiting in that the jalapeno cheesee on a stick from the fresh lemonade stand is a Minnesota State Fair staple and Fan Favorite for those who enjoy bold flavors and classic fair food at $17 the steak sandwich from Butcher Boys is one of the more pricey options at the fair but its quality and portion size make it a Splurge for us every single year you can get it topped with peppers onions and cheese sauce it's just on a hot dog bun now feel like it used to be on butter bread don't forget the barbecue or horseradish sauce [Music] [Music] our last stop at the fair is at the Midway men's club this spot has been serving up classic burgers and hot dogs for decades with that No Frills nostalgic charm we all love I grabbed double cheeseburger with sauteed onions and pickles for just $5 and on top of that they've got the cheapest beer at the fair cash only but totally worth it [Music] [Music] I'm [Music] [Music]
