van GLE even in the offseason like he's looking for guys that are just dudes he wants guys that are going to go around fly around bring a lot of energy just bring a lot of chaos that's what they're at pass protection um and miles gasin is in here doing that exactly so for him he can he might be an answer he might be you know as a third downback a guy that you need when uh when you're facing an stop with this guy Aaron Jones yeah we're looking forward to seeing Aaron Jones and being able to speak with the coaches talk about his vision and his vision as a running back is really second to none and that lends itself to a lot of Zone and Zone cutbacks tight runs uh don't expect his workload to be too heavy though going into the season he's had a lot of success last year mainly in the playoffs well I'll just I'll jump in here and talk about Aaron Jones as well and the thing that I'm super excited about is is the way that you know possibly he can work with this kind of new revamped new mentality offensive line and offensive running game that we've seen in the preseason we're ravaging 127 yards a game and that's without Aaron Jones and as you talk about with Pete it's the acceleration you know our guys are are splitting open defenses they're doing it again today they did so on the opening drive as well but if they can split open defenses like they're doing in this preseason then you combine that with a a guy that can attack the line of scrimmage like Aaron Jones sort of a one cut guy with those quick feet man this could be a whole different looking offense than we've seen the last two years and also credit to Tai Chandler for being a healthy and active the last two games pass left goes to Paris gamble turns it up at the 30 35 to the 40 and that's where he stopped and Nick serani coach of the Eagles is going to take a timeout but 15 yard gain seriously uh credit uh Tai chanler Pete because you know this time last year he absolutely is playing in this game super fast uh has worked diligently on catching the ball and also on his pass protection but uh this is the type of game Ty Chandler would be playing in had he not improve the way he has yeah you're absolutely right and and we saw that even going into the season last year it wasn't just the preseason it was against Cincinnati where he had a a very very good day couple of big runs and I if you will just working on the receiving working on the hands but that's something at this stage of his career this stage of the Season yeah you can absolutely just get him on the jugs machine after practice get get more reps catching the football out of the back field he had 132 rushing yards and a touchdown at Cincinnati last year here's picket to conclude the first half or get close to it concerned um I think of one we had in the second half against the Broncos that was a critical fumble by one of our backs when we're in field goal range but outside of that one there just hasn't been a lot of ball carriers putting the ball on the ground because it's something that we emphasize over and over and over again it's how we practice and I think that's the other key part of it how is the defense sharpening us every single day to make sure we're not turning the football over by how we practice cuz if there's bad ball Security in practice there's going to be games and uh I think that's why you've seen us come out and play some clean football in the preseason Jaren Hall hands it off and uh McBride gets back some of that yardage there is a new center in the game for the Vikings he is Matt cnri just signed here a few days ago another flag yeah we're going to have something on us here legal formation like that I don't know if we had everybody we needed on the line of scrimmage 82 catching the ball thing and he's worked really hard at it and it's starting to show up a little bit how about we get physical down here PA right run it right him there it is McBride stood up well know getting these guys ready to go but uh I just love seeing guys I don't know whether it's my you know my journey or what but I was that I was that guy multiple times showing up and having to play
