[Music] hi guys welcome back to my channel how are you today it's chanon here and I am in Flushing Meadow Queens today and we are going to Flushing Meadow Corona Park and today is the US Open Fan Day and this is tennis I'm talking about and we are going to witness what's happening there and I'm taking you with me and like I said I'm in Flushing Queens and it's 10:30 in the morning and it opens at 11 today and we are going this right here what you're looking at is Queen's botanical gardens the men doing some work over there and uh we're walking we just parked up and we're walking today what they what they call that car again side Tru over there personally I think it's ugly it's an ugly truck it's a Tesla yeah last modeler probably okay you got a big turn so I'm no big tennis fan yes I do watch here and there my husband loves tennis and I am just um going for the experience of course and yes I would really like to watch and see what's happen cuz they'll be practicing and doing all stuff you know also it says open fan so you'll be able to see some of the um some of the players uh the well-known players so let's hope welcome to open thank you very much so here's a little brain Z they going got a free program they just give you and you going to get a copy of it and you could look and then you have go to the appropriate courts okay got it okay yeah right now they got qualifier so people qualify qualifiers we going to have is this the only country that gives it for free when you go to the US um to the French Open or Wimbledon or the Australian Open you got to pay to get in there so this is was hundreds of dollars actually a week going on for qualifers no no the qualifiers goes on from a week it starts since Monday and it finishes today okay then tomorrow they have artash Day celebration to honor AR Ash okay right as a humanitarian and as an advocate uhhuh civil rights and all of that uhuh they call it children's day so whole lot of kids from all over the country just come here and they have a big celebration M and then officially Monday is when the US Open starts the main draw oh so here we are we're getting in there now so welcome to the US Open all taking the stairs yeah whatever young you're young you can run up the stairs hello hello good morning home oh wow so this is what the stadium looks like oh my they're practicing yeah where iums look like so there's several stadiums in here right well ports I would say not stadiums ports all right so this is what it looks like we're making our way down so this is one of the practices that's happening here right now there's several practices going on I have tennis players up there they're watching the big fans so going over that side there to see what's going on I'm going to show you so they have a few said I have a few concession stands here in case you get hungry they have washrooms as well right so those people you see walking there they're coming from Long Island to come to see the US Open today and those are the train stations and that's a big um Stadium over there I think they're coming off from the train and walking all the way here this is the first one and I'm going to walk around and show you some more so like I said they're coming off from Long Island across there to come to the US Open today iile B [Music] wow B so they have a lot of merchandise they're selling so this is a place to be if you want to get some of the original stuff there's the polo store there as well [Music] that's the AR Ash Stadium oh you want to go in there all right let's go in there Captain Marvel look she's right here she's Captain America I don't know yes no Captain Marvel is the lady yeah yeah yes yes so you're probably wondering why we taking our pictures everywhere and um stopping here stopping there it's US Open day they are practicing and at the same time it's fan day so if you're big big fan of tennis this is the place to be today and you can get to see all the um the players your favorite players uh practicing and then you can get pictures with the items the merchandise you can even buy some stuff as well and this here we were in line to take our pictures with these really huge rackets Wilson Rockets too and at the back of it is the really big tennis balls and you can actually you buy those and get the autograph they can sign those balls yeah you I watch you there good no it stand as greaters so these are all the champions they have up Venus Williams there is Roger federa Roger federa he's been Champion a lot so 2004 2008 V uh Serena Williams is right next to him there so we're just walking around the park watching you know looking at what's happening enjoying every moment of it there's a Cadillac place here Naomi Osaka oh look at those where where are they where oh let's see this these are Cadillacs wow that one that is a big boy that's a big boy oh my God that's awesome that is lovely a moner yes yeah that's a monster I love it I love it huge 24th of June 2024 and in 2024 he won his third and fourth major titles at the French Open and wimble Then followed by an Olympic silver medal at the Paris Olympics so just to let you know the US Open tennis championships commonly called the US Open that's what we attended there is a Hardcore Tennis tournament held annually in Queens New York and it's the only Grand Slam Tournament that has been played every year since his Inception smile here are your favorite this is one of your favorite sport I think I'm more I mean I like it but I'm more excited about Cricket than tennis on the game you're just yeah you can sit and watch this but I like Cricket more if I had to weigh it out you know you like T20 yes I like T20 yes correction like the other games yes that's that's true [Music] where the stadiums are Louis Armstrong Stadium there is ARA Ash stadium and it's a whole little park by itself as well the unisphere in front there it's been there all the time and actually there's a particular movie um where it was filmed in and that's Men In Black so if you look at Men In Black that's where the um the C was actually holding the little Galaxy as they call it so that's the unisphere right there and they have lovely flowers around there so it's a little Park you can go and chill and so on um it's a public park as well and it's in the northern part of Queens in New York city so there are a few attractions around there and it's the USA Billy Jean King national tennis center the current venue for the US Open tennis tournament that's where we visited then there's City Field it's the home of the New York Mets baseball team there is the New York Hall of Science the queen Museum the Queen's theater in the park the queen Zoo then of course the unisphere I showed you that and the New York State Pavilion squ look squel there sorry this just want C flowers so beautiful huh who there were three of them okay beautiful and there is a big bee there there's a big bumble bee there and then there is the big Globe right in front and that Globe was featured in the movie Men in Black the very first one when the Galaxy um the cat had a Galaxy on the colla and then the alien cockroach the man have turned into the big cockroach that's where they went well it's a unisphere not a glue y good so there it is there it is is the big Globe it looks like a globe but it's a unisphere yeah it does look like Wikipedia in it come on come out the way yeah [Music] see flying drones anywhere well that's why I didn't bring my drone look a squirrel look a squirrel all the way there why we just saw a tree I know but I'm now seeing it again bus players very nice so the majority of these people are coming from Long Island to get to the uh the tennis that way to meet you s it was pleas to know you so guys this is what it was today we had a good time we went and we saw a few try outs a few practices from some of the players including um Carlos yeah so um hope you had fun
