ESPN MOVES GAME TO 8/31!! #8 NMSU FACES #17 LIBERTY!! CFB 25 - New Mexico State Dynasty Season 3

hey guys welcome to those of you that are in the chat um we will get started in just a few minutes we're starting a little early because Dad is on Daddy Daycare Duty a little early this evening for e receiver his freshman year a little unknown but he was a freshman All-American with 146 catches 1673 yards receiving and 10 touchdowns so quite a first impression by Tyrone Roy and now he's our number one receiver a few changes to the lineup uh Steve garon is now Damien Cronin due to uh your generous gift I appreciate you Daman thank you for your gift and uh you will be our starting running back now Lind Kendall thank you for your gift gift um you have replaced Alex Griggs and he's currently on the on the injured list but he set to come off in about two weeks so thank you for your gift and believe it or not you and Alex Griggs are both from Mesa [Music] Arizona uh give or take 15 years or so but and then John pulson thank you for your gifts you are our number two wide receiver right now as a 74 overall but your 98 speed you replaced a fourstar wide receiver dant TR Regis and you will now be John pson our fastest player on our team so let's get to the Liberty game which hopefully some of you have come to watch and if you don't get to see it live hopefully you can watch it on the replay just real quick an update on the recruiting board we did get Jim Prospect halfback Greg Howard to verbal to us we got Nate Hart a gem Prospect fourstar left guard Trey Thomas left guard fourstar Prospect Jim Prospect fourstar defensive tackle and be our top player Tony Escobar a gem Prospect fourstar linebacker out of Scottdale Arizona verble to us Austin Turner another Jem Prospect fourstar cornerback 61202 and free safety Emanuel dah who also verbal to us and so we have quite a few four stars right now and we are working on the rest of these to try to have a phenomenal class right now we are ninth in the nation in recruiting it is early but we do have seven four stars obviously that's number one in our conference and it's top 10 in the nation so number eight New Mexico State faces number 17 Liberty University Liberty University is also an 82 overall this is EA Sports Game of the week two top 20 teams facing off against each other so New Mexico state is undefeated this season and has creeped into the top 10 or crept into the top 10 and Liberty after having [Music] having multiple successful seasons is in the top 20 even with one loss so our conference is pretty solid this year and last year out alive country this game is at Liberty so it will be a tough one always tough to play University like I said I will hey bro how you doing man it's good to see you Kevin I've been doing good how how about [Applause] you it's been a while since I've been live so I thought I better go ahead and uh do a live stream nice sack by 28 off play action he's looking to throw first time Liberty has a new quarterback in there since Salter graduated Jaden Robinson the Left End of an moving around in the pocket and also he's going to have an awareness of exactly where this guy is couldn't get rid of it doing okay well that's better than [Applause] bad awesome that sounds like fun quickly breaks a tack on the play and makes a decent game so pson on the wide receiver screen catches the ball but then is taken down immediately for fourth and five Jan S is spending time being excited about his 500 career paths completed but it'll Force the New Mexico State and the punt team makes it way out the field good PL Mexico state has been good about stopping Liberty but can they do it for the third straight time 31 yard punt here comes the New Mexico State offense on the field now they're coming off a three and out looking to produce a positive drive here looking out throwing here to start the drive and a senior making a disruptive impact Playa get quite a few of the Yards back defens third and five of the first down Mar it's third down for the off here's the snap quarterback looking to throw receiver makes the [Applause] catch a short pass to Roy first down Aggies thr for onth makes the catch and that is enough for a first down oh the defense is tougher than they've been but Liberty lost their top quarterback Caden Salter to graduation so that kind of helps us a little bit we geted number two'll see the can get going they didn't do much in the opening quarter [Music] bath with the catch and just inches short of the first down fake looking to throw finds that big tight end for a pass they bring him down but a solid there of the this is why running theball is so thean or Cronin as he is now 133 yd [Applause] gain threat chis what I love here is just The Vision by the running back showing great patience the hole opens up and then he's able to use balance these last couple plays we're seeing from these guys not only are they balance but the explosiveness a big run followed up by a big play through the air man puts a lot of pressure on this defense AA in for an Aggie touchdown first to get on the board at Liberty stadium in he will score touchdown newx State huge touchdown for the agies as Liberty put it on New Mexico State last year bet a New Mexico resident or graduated from New Mexico High School extra point is good is good they jump in front seven nothing nice kick doesn't bring the kick out Touchback they'll start at the 25 Liberty's offense retakes the field now the last Drive they came up empty had to kick it away oh he had him first action quick throw to the left side he pulls in the catch they bring him down but an explosive play by this offense fumble oh sure 65 picks it up and runs like a [Applause] fullback it's a good job by the defense toce to Fumble but you have to have the colletive awareness second and get on top of it it's a lucky break for the offense from the shotgun here's an inside defense able to stop the ball carrier there the Flames hustle to the line to run the hurry up nice sack there's 28 again it's been the right end and there is the Left End Jaden Robinson just getting started here first half and you're already talking about giving up three sacks got to think about changing things up schematically help manto man on Third and 18 Stoner a backup middle linebacker in the game oh my [Applause] gosh and the quarterback drops back looking for an open man he's got it for a big game doesn't quite get in but it sets up a first and goal for this offense well you talk about a huge conversion 329 left in the second quarter New Mexico state with the ball first and 10 the out John pson with the catch for about eight yards second one 316 left in the second quarter be able to Damen Cronin just inches from the first down Jun able to quickly yard that's all you want to see as an as as you're moving the 45 the backup halfback in the game third down right here can he get there on the ground good enough for the first down to the 37 yeah I love how the back didn't really dance around trying to make a big play he knew it's third down in inches lower the shoulder get the first down fresh set of down it's first and 10 off the play fake looking to throw but's a fly out of the wide out almost intercepted again oh the sack he got in there too quick third and 17 with 29 209 left considered one of the top defensive ends in the enti he theed quickly out because that's exactly what was being shouted by the offensive linan to his quarterb because he had no chance to block it that's a dangerous throw it falls incomplete but this defense almost interception today ready to Bo away and the return brought down by the coverage team now that's the two-minute warning now here in the first half here comes the Flames offense back out on the field was so effective in the last possession great size and got to the quarterback offense facing a third and long from the 28 got to have your pass protection in order on this play they'll run it out of the shotgun able to agie stop Liberty Flames the Flames bring their punt team onto the [Applause] field returner decides to fair catch this tight end with a first down tight 4 but first arm Tyrone Roy quarterback drops back receiver makes the grab tackle but first down nicely run slant here by the wide receiver time out Mexico [Music] state it off tops the clock with their second timeout to talk strategy just a good job here by the finds his Target there touchdown New Mexico State this off is still clicking that's just been Unstoppable today the quarterback finds his favorite receiver for yet another touchdown man that is another touchdown for this guy and what's been very unique just a total package having a dream game BC is good they're pulling ahead 1 s Liberty with a 29 yd reception and a first down fourth and four and they kick the 44 yard field goal which is good Cronin through the left side for about six [Applause] yards will be the end of the third quarter with New Mexico State up 21 to 10 over number 17 Liberty one quarter to go let's see if this sets up as AIC Finish First of the quarter is a crucial off trying tover for it is a sack for Liberty by Nathan means the defensive tackle freshman with six defensive backs and none of them BL they just sat back in coverage and the defensive line eventually came up with a sack the now to kick it fi terrible pun kick it impr C to ground good stopped after a small gain now looking at second and nine the Flames come to the line to run the hurry out there it's a draw play minimal gain brought down of the fourth and eight Liberty is going to go for it of [Applause] course nice knock Away by number eight Rashad McKinley running out of time in the pocket and it falls incomplete for a turnover on Downs well down late in this football game by more than a possession they obviously had to go for this they just couldn't come up with the execution so firston about a three yard gain I like the Run play here and offensively at this point in the game you want to remain in that attack mode first also they'll let the clock run as they are up by 11 points with 425 left in the fourth quarter the Aggies over the Flames Cronin it's all but one yard B handed off and that run produces a decent gain let's give credit to the offensive line here they 355 now left in the fourth quarter Mexico state will let this clock run they're in the eye formation two tight end set with a full back nice first down by Aman Patterson hand off as they try to work the clock here the game picks up the first down tackled at the 37 good call here by the offense to be able to pick up this first down and Chris it makes you wonder with under three minutes to go in this game and trailing the defense sitting back in their base I thought they might be in a little bit more of an aggressive mindset turning the blitz loose trying to to get the football [Applause] back Patterson gets about three yards on first down why not keep it on the ground the senior able to make the stop after a short game you know in the era that we live in right now everybody wants to spread the field rout try to create space try to create one-onone matchups and the defense is countered over the trying to play out wide still an eye formation still too tight in set Mexico State just bleeding this clock dry one yard gain to make it third and six keeping it on the ground here and they'll stop him after a short third down here time for perhaps one more play the twoin warning and that's the two-minute warning as this offense tries to work the clock getting closer now to an impressive victory a beta open for a New Mexico State first down deep into Liberty territory but more importantly they got a first down to make the clock run as much clock as possible the beta was six catches and three touchdowns on the day again it works out another timeout by Liberty their second of the half hands it off on the counter sto right there at the line no game now clock stopped at 151 to go in the fourth quarter Cronin picks up about four down after just a short pick up now it's the defense that calls timeout here trying to get or as much clock as possible Ronin so close the first down but he is [Applause] short decisi 2 attemp be automa missed it field goal no good off the Miss it's still an 11 lead that's a missed opportunity for some points here the way they were moving the football I thought maybe a touchdown the very least three points but instead he Shanks it [Music] 10 yard reception but it'll be fourth and inches for Liberty and they do get the first down with an 18 yard reception this is a two possession ball game though 2110 and New Mexico state will just kneel this miss out so their Nemesis over the last two years really three years the New Mexico native the week for Conference USA wow fi is 0 and six they are better than that this is a scary game to go into New Mexico state is now ranked 10th so keante Stacy the number one guy on our Port signs with
