hello everybody and welcome to satisfactory this game had just come out on the 10th and I've been keeping my eye on it for a while it is an open world Factory building Survival game and it finally hit its version 1.0.0 point1 which sounds very official so got their patch notes for that I just opened the internet all right I got the patch notes for that um I have not played this all I've done was change some of the graphics uh to make sure that it's Ultra Ultra cinematic uh about as high as I could get it so new game uh ideal for first time Pioneers I think we're going to go with that I am a firsttime Pioneer session name pioner here here we go skip intro no we do not um and I'm not going to change anything first viable building location fix it fix it had found standing out because it was open in relatively flat Fields considering the distances between mining locations building outposts and or large Transportation lines may be necessary eventually distance between okay so I'll probably have to work on getting um I know the I I know the concept of this you get you know you build things and you build conveyor belts and from Main transport complete delivered to calisan region all and receiving blood force trauma preserve the remains for later study preserve their remains I will not or so is this like a node that will regrow cuz that says impure oh look at here so that's wood interrupted over here looks like it'd be cool for I don't know what the building is like in this or how in detail I'm able to get but I'm just using Minecraft and like subnotica as my uh you know resources of thinking how this could go like I can make something look pretty over here maybe some sort of yard walkway this looks really cool this looks really cool so get rid of those we don't need those uh crafting bench select recipe I got to choose one over here um oh you hold it oh that's kind of cool all right let's make a ton of these cuz I think that the iron ore I don't want to use all of it into I'll use most of it and put into iron ingots but I don't want to use all of it cuz then we could always just mine some more there so I'm going to do that and then I'm going to get out of that this looks really cool a little uh is that an oven I got an oven all right so the Hub terminal this is where we our Milestones so there are four phases nine tiers is what I'm seeing here so tier Z we're on tier zero perfect um rewards equipment Workshop portable Miner and place on a resource node oh I think that's what these are these must be the nodes and so I could put those things and just and shell completed the smelter can turn raw and iron into ingots and the biom burner generates power when fueled protect against the fact most of the Native flora and is compatible with Fixit technology fueling the biomass burner with inappropriate materials will result in deductions or even cancellation of your yearly bonus yearly bonus I'm getting paid for this complete Hub upgrade three biomass burner so I assume I put stuff in and it will burn no fuel buttons all right uh production buildings like the smelter will only function when connected to a power source with a power line ooh okay biomass burner located in the hub generates Power by consuming biomass such as wooden leaves oh sweet okay so I could just go around Gathering a bunch of wooden leaves look at all this oh perfect look at this I got fuel for days out here I'm never going to run out of fuel so I'm going to try to just gather a bunch of leaves and I'll burn all of those oh this is some open space let's see any iron copper or to what about copper there's some nodes over there 500 I'm looking at the top 500 50 oh those are these all right so we got two iron ones here which I think are good I think iron is going to be a base for a lot of what we need here so uh copper ingots so we're just going to need a bunch of both but wait do I need to craft the equip power line smelter okay all right I'm going to have to like read these things to really figure out this is going to be a whole mental gymnastics thing smelter uh or into ingots nice can be automated by feeding or in Via conveyor belt connected to the import Port the resulting ingots can be automatically extracted by connecting a conveyor belt to the out output Port output Port output Port all right so I'm guessing if we can get the extraction you know we might try to get the extra extraction going this way cuz those where were those things the little thing I saw where I could dig where's that thing I don't know where I saw it but I saw that I could at some point I think I talked about so something to dig here little extractor and then here and then I can run a line over to here and this is where that furnace production smelter can be here oh that's awesome it's got the who I could put that far away so input to the right and output to the left lock hologram oh that's sweet all right I like that a lot okay so it would need power to go into up there um probably from this thing generating the power so probably from this connect this to that and then extractors or whatever it's going to be called going through there to go here I use the smelter by hand and just have the thing like even if I I put stuff in manually and then take stuff out manually if I'm still able to use it without using the conveyor belts it just won't be automated but it'll make it faster oh why is that is it overheating why was it doing that what was that that was doing a thing it was doing a thing all right we need these add some more of that there do we have a power line over here look at that power so I am going to do that burning fuel so what okay this is this is this is in depth so produ capacity maximum 20 and it's only consuming oh it's not consuming much at all look at that one Le per 80 minutes and I put 3 never going to have to run about out worry about running out of power ever okay so it does stop when he hits 100 and he starts back up that's sweet okay so now that it has power there's no conveyor belt going in I can only configure it more power these are all power power power power power okay so now that that is a thing I do think this is the last one we have to do by hand cuz we need to get the conveyor belts uh conveyor connects conveyor belts so I need to POS and the belt okay useful for routing conveyor builds more precisely and across long distance oh so probably we don't need the conveyor but it's helpful inventory slots three of them okay so we're going to do uh limestone in a second uh cable and Sheet okay so get the rest of the copper going here all right so I think I'm just going to let all of the copper ingots smell and then a lot of the iron inot get I'm going to take a hydration break here real quick and then we're going to craft everything we need to okay remember to stay hydrated so this thing I think it can overheat I'm too nervous to find out what happens if it does but we're going to make a ton of wire here because I think we need 20 cable and uh oh which we can make and I like how it's just a uh okay so we do have have 20 that I like how it's just a one hit there um I'm going to make some more wire just because I have the resources to do so and then I think we need iron plates that's the big thing that we need cuz I think we need like 75 of that so we'll probably have to take a little break to go grab the other can't afford can't afford oh so what do I need for this 75 20 so I do need 75 of that jeeez Lou I have 56 so I'm going to make sure this guy here is unless those nodes end up not uh not doing what I you know what am I trying to say unless I end up being a finite resource and then you got to figure out other nodes or move the base or something like output of one building to the input of another and transport resources I want due to past incidents I've been asked to issue a clarification portable miners obviously do not have a connection for conveyor belts there is nothing to suggest visually or functionally but they can be connected to Portable miners if this is something you struggle with do not worry fix it has alternative uses for all their Pioneers next objective complete H upgrade five this semi slug species seems to persist entirely through absorbing and storing energy from it surroundings what I just picked up studying this could provide new methods for improving Fixit production line efficiency is that store this potential resource for later use store it okay yeah I'm actually going to put things away uh store all and that yet crafting bench we have we have an equipment Workshop so let's look at the uh upgrade five oh this is what I've been looking for is the miner that's what I've been looking around thinking that I've already unlocked that H all right so this is good though storage container so we could do mining put it into the smelter and straight into a storage container and then from the storage container output that into a Constructor or something I'm sure we're able to split up the this is crazy this I feel like I've done so much and then nothing at all so um oh he's made a friend this is awesome
