the bounce house and it's easy to see why they call it that home of the night of UCF what do you think about that and this crowd is ready for a big one there's just something about the night cap after a day of wall to wall football it just seems this is when chaos ensues as we'll see a squad from Conference USA the Sam Houston Bearcats taking on a team from the Big 12 the UCF kns for EA Sports college football ree Davis with you alongside David Pollock and Jesse Palmer and guys can't wait to get this one [Applause] [Music] [Applause] started and the Bearcats will boot it away to start the [Applause] game here he comes from inside his own five didn't find any crease in that kickoff coverage and he'll be stopped at the 17 so the UCF night his offense will have the first possession of the game and here he is one of the best receivers in the game and he just commands attention both from the defense and from the fans yeah he's a guy you got to keep your eye on and you're going to see him line up all over the field in this game he can play in the slot he can play out wide he can run the entire gamut in the route tree as well really nothing this guy can't do defense trying to keep this offense from getting a line on who to block the knights will hustle to the line back to the ground with the running back Nifty run there pick up of six out the 25 just a simple power play power football be strong be big be physical make it a fourth quarter game make him feel you keep him off balance he try to move the chains on Third and short from the [Applause] 25 he'll do it himself dances away from the deep he'll make a play on third down he's got enough for the first as they mark it at the 32 oo I like that option play I'd keep running that too because it's obvious the defense right now is really keying in on this running back that was a big point of emphasis for them all week long in practice and it's opening up holes now for the quarterback to run on the run it's Harvey they bring him down and he's going to lose a yard on that one I love this linebacker because he's able to dissect what's happening in front of him and he reacts downhill uses his speed to get to the line of scrimmage and create the negative play lost one on that last one it's second and 11 [Applause] from the gun they'll try to impose their running game still on his feet at the 45 and he was Off to the Races and he gets it to the 45 I think it's really important for this offense they get this guy going early in the game and they're doing a nice job of that right now remember he's the kind of running back who gets better as the game goes on that's a really good omen for this offense considering his success now early the knights are marching down the field coming out on first down with the play fake makes a connection gets him down at the 30 after a 15 yd pickup they are threatening and they have a first down this offense is just so dynamic because they've got Playmakers at all the skill positions right we just saw a big play in the running game now we see one in the passing game there's not one dude that you can keep on here if you're on defense to try and slow them [Applause] down got it behind the line it's Hudson and the defense settled in to stop that one for a short gain I coach said you'll never go broke taking a profit take what's there take the positive yards and never complain this offense has a second down [Applause] play pulls and fires it complete to the right nice pitch and catch there and they'll have enough for the first down so difficult cuz my eyes tell me as's a defensive guy he's handing it off the offensive Line's blocking run I got to go get it quarterback pulls it throws it to the right it's kind of like that hidden hat game like where's the ball I'm always trying to find that that going Pi the knights in the hurry [Applause] up looking for a physical attack from the gun he bullies his way all the way down to the 5 yd line BR up second operating in the Red Zone here on second down the run from the shotgun so close to that end zone he can almost taste it but it'll be first and goal for this offense and I don't care if I get it by two by 20 by 30 by 40 I I just I just want to get the first down understanding the situation understanding where the sticks are doesn't have to be sexy but I got to make sure I get to that stick get to the first down Mark the knights line it up with a first and goal find his big tight end touchdown you see him and they jump on top they just took the air out of that thing that might be an understatement they took the ball away and just wore down just grinded away at that defense it took a lot of time off the clock in the process as well I'm impressed with the physicality up front of this offense cuz that's where it all starts if you're going to March the ball down the field like they just did you've got to be dominating in the trenches and they are doing that in this game right now ready to try the point a and the extra point is good and it's 7even nothing so a drive there of 82 yds [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] kick he thought about bringing that out for a half second but he'll take a knee and they'll bring it to the 25 so the Sam Houston Bearcats offense will try to get something going with their first possession here are our impact players for this game and it goes beyond executing an assignment to make an impact in the game yeah obviously we were talking to both coaching staffs this week and we asked them who needs to step up and play while they immediately pointed to these guys right here they are the key for their respective teams yeah they don't always show up in the Box Score but these are the guys of the leaders these are the guys getting everybody organized and have to play well for their team to succeed got stuffed on first down it's second and [Applause] 10 looking to throw it's bow quickly complete and he'll get it up to the 38 it'll be a first down well it's a nice play design there you're getting the running back involved in the pass game quarterback gives it to him early so he can go to work up field and get the first down it's first and 10 from the 38 yd line looking to move it through the air and that's not the way they drew it up it's incomplete INE [Applause] let's see if they go back to the air on second [Applause] down off the play fake and he avoids the hit and slides after the short gain well great job there by the defense because they weren't able to get him sacked right away but you saw coverage in the back end nowhere the quarterback throw the football didn't get the sack obviously you don't get the negative play but you also don't give up a big one you're feeling pretty good about where you are right now in this D they have it at the 43 third and short trying to avoid making a decision on fourth down got it in the middle it's Evans they make the stop but this passing game does some damage and they move the sticks with the first down that's tough on the defense there third down you're in zone coverage everybody's watching the quarterback and you're trying to make a break on the ball but he just got it out of his hands too quickly and the throw was too accurate really you can do there and it's now a fresh set of downs keeping it on the ground with the single back that's what you expect from a senior don't give them any extra yards great tackle there and those physical runs take a toll it might not be a big game now but down the road third fourth quarter late in the ball games they tend to turn into bigger runs didn't get much on first down it's second and nine wants to throw it's Bower quickly to the tight end they make the stop right there good pick up and still short of the first down well nice completion there finding the tight end what's so beautiful about that is while they didn't get on first they were able to pick up enough yards now to make the third down management really putting this offense in a good possession play number seven on this drive and it'll be third and [Applause] two quarterback on the keeper that'll be enough for the first down as they mark it down at the 31 yd line this quarterback is so dangerous and it looked like the defense had him coralled it looked like they were ready for him to keep the football but that quarterback is just too good he's like a water bug so good short area quickness able to make guys miss then go get the first comes out throwing on first down unloads to the wide out complete down field they make the tackle but he's got a fresh set of downs and it's first and goal from the seven really nice job by the quarterback understanding I needed to throw this ball hard like I got to fit it in there tight and a nice job by the wide receiver wearing it cuz he really didn't have a choice cuz he was going to wear that one regardless now on first and goal as they try to answer that opener with a touchdown of their [Applause] own they'll try to get it in with the run now not much room he gets one down to the seven [Applause] up defense roll up deep in its own end on that last play now a second and long coming into the end zone and he was trying to pay off his Red Zone opportunity but it's incomplete and that is a hug huge missed opportunity for the quarterback you got your guy wide open in the end zone you're not under pressure you just got to hit him that ball got away that's one he'd like to have back third and goal coming up here back to pass it's bow escapes the sack and maybe he'll get back to the line of scrimmage but no more than that man down on the play as the officials take a break to let him be checked out and on fourth down here comes the field goal unit from the left hash and this distance ought to make that angle pretty easy to handle no good and they couldn't cut into the lead it's still a seven-point game well everybody in the stadium thought that was an automatic threee not so fast bad Miss by the kicker [Music] the UCF offense back on the field ready to go to work Jesse a very productive Drive last time wound up with a touchdown yeah mixing and matching play calling really well nice balance on that last one day we'll see what they can do here in this next Drive yeah and I don't expect anything different when you put together a drive like that I would do more of the same keep the pace keep it going the the knights want to crank the [Applause] tempo looking for space it's Harvey at the 35 he's got r that is exactly what you're looking for when you talk explosive plays the defense finally able to make the stop defense is going to have their hands full trying to stop this guy they better rally to the football and get multiple hats CU he is not easy to bring down as they get set to snap it just about to reach the end of the quarter they'll throw it on first down fires to the wide out it's complete they make the stop but not before he wraps up this first period with a huge gain that's the end of the quarter and UCF has the lead and we come to the end of the first as we take a moment to check out the stats so [Music] far they are lined up and ready to go and get things started here in the second the knights will snap it on First and 10 running back goes in motion trying to find his man on first down got his man quickly you run the slant route day one and this is something that the quarterback of the wide receiver has done 100 million times out there on the field in the off seon I see manto man coverage I know I can run the slant boom stick my foot in the ground throw it completion to my wide receiver the completion short of the sticks it's second [Applause] down now on the counter and they'll breing down but not before he picks up the first down this is an offense guys that really believes in physicality and that's their identity so running the ball on second down no problem for them [Applause] they've moved it to the 19 first and [Applause] 10 they'll ride the hot hand ripping through the defense he's there to make the stop but not before he sets up this offense first and goal from the seven well right away after picking up a first down they go right back to their playmaker at running back and I love the push they got up front getting a hat on a hat opening a huge hole for the back and you become so hard to defend when you can run the football successfully on first down you're starting like that now what opens up play action now you're making me play pass and run and he's string he'll take it all the way touchdown nice and this running back is so dangerous down close to the end zone he's got wiggle he's got great vision and first and he showed all of those attributes right there [Music] [Applause] now they'll line up for what they hope is automatic and the extra point pushes the lead to 14 so it's an 80 yd drive and he found his way to the end zone from the seven to C [Music] it about to kick it away after scoring a [Applause] touchdown he'll bring it out it's Phillips he was looking for some Running Room but not much to be found as he stopped at the 18 the mircat offense ready to go back to work this this is when the pressure can ramp up a little bit on an offense David when they start feeling the heat to answer a score and I think being down 14 you can kind of feel that way but dude if you put a good drive together this is a seven-point game so Palmer no need to pay I was just going to say David I mean this thing can flip quick you go down score all of a sudden your defense gets a stop or who knows better yet gets a turnover this game is entirely different they'll start this one from the 29 on first down out of the gun they'll run it inside and he broke one tackle on the way to a solid pick up there I know it's sexy to throw the football but if you can pound it away and get these kind of gains they will just add up wear the defense down get first downs and ultimately get some points the Bearcats are in the hurry up he'll pull it on the read at the 45 on his way and they'll finally get him down after a terrific pick up well this is one of the fastest quarterbacks in college football and that's why the option's a good idea because if he can get out in space and he has a chance to get down field he is really difficult to tackle and he's very difficult to catch as you saw in that last play getting a first down [Applause] using the quick game oh it's out it what a great job by the defense securing the wide receiver getting the football out getting it on the deck and d and let's hold on just a minute here as the officials are going to have a second look and you know the standard is indisputable video evidence and the officials will change the call from the shotgun the hand off to the back really nice stop there from this senior leader the Run game just has not been working for this offense all game long saw it on that last play as well just not getting enough push up front on the offensive line it haven't been physical here on third down will they go back to the running game they'll try to get the first through the air caught over the middle it's Smith and the defense makes the immediate tackle but he has enough for the first down and on that third and short I don't think he was unhappy to see that zone nope it's a great job by the offense hey see where the holes in the zone are sit down you only need a little bit of yards on this third down get the conversion move the [Applause] sticks reads it Fire's complete and a good job in coverage there as they stop it after just a few well this tight end he's got side and he's got some athleticism and he's very difficult to cover oneon-one defense is going to have their hands full with him today movement from the linebackers trying to mess with the offensive Line's assignments caught behind the line it's Phillips he's brought down quickly minimal gain there still a bit short of the first down looks as if we have an injury on that last play and we'll take a break to check him out you have to wonder after missing a field goal on the last Drive how are they going to play this third down looking to throw it again they're bringing heat and he just throws it away that is not what you're looking for on third down fourth down coming up third short in college football today you see so much more pass than you used to the offense stays aggressive and I think they stay aggressive cuz they know they're in field goal range they got that three in the left and for the second time tonight they'll Trot out the field goal kicker oh the attempt is no good and after the Miss it's still a 14-point game well that's now the second Miss field goal for this kicker I tell you this he can't blame the weather thr this is a day he needs to do better executing [Music] the now the UCF offense ready to go back to work they wanted to set the tone strike quickly Jesse they've done exactly that up two touchdown and this quarterback has been dialed in too he's been so good reading coverage going to where the open guy is with the football and they've been up and down the field David so far and this defense needs to make something happen right now you've already given up a couple touchdowns your offense has got nothing going still early in the game get a stop create some momentum for your offense the Knights moving quickly to the [Applause] line out of the shotgun they go to the ground just working and poking and proding and finding his way up to the 36 when you're a def defense it is stop the run first that is your first responsibility it makes the whole game easy and right now they got it going on the ground the defense is going to have to change something up these little tiny Dink and dunk Dink and dunk you keep doing this they'll go all the way down the field on you so you might want to get a little bit more aggressive they'll go right back to him that been fi he's got Ro and how much Running Room have they been able to find on the ground man are they piling up some gudy r rushing stats and with that run he goes over a 100 yards we knew coming into this game tonight they wanted to force feed him the football they knew to win the game they were going to have to establish the running game and be the more physical team in the trenches you turn around and give this guy the ball good things generally happen and we've seen that over the course of this game throws to the wide out got his Man Down field and he was loose and in the open field and on his way a tremendous just pick up on that one how about this offense they're rolling they got a couple first downs together defense next what's your response what do you got you got to make some adjustments here the knights are rolling down the [Applause] field the p and throw off the rbo can't quite cross the plane to get the six but they'll have the first down well this defense now is just getting gashed and if you're the defensive coordinator you might now want to think about being aggressive changing up your play calls and maybe breaking your own Tendencies because you have got to stop this offense just marching down the field they've hit him with back-to-back chunk plays now it's first and goal they'll try to get it in with the run and he takes it in for the score touchdown you see up wow this offense they have a lot of faith in this running back knowing if they get down in this area of the field he can get it done and he can answer the Bell two rushing touchdowns already for this off [Applause] lining up to tack one more onto that [Applause] lead and with the extra point they're up 21 to nothing so that scoring Drive took only six plays and they finish it off with a short punch into the end zone [Applause] about to kick it off after punching it in for the [Applause] touchdown on the run from inside zone five didn't find any crease in that kickoff coverage and he'll be stopped at the 17 the Bearcat offense ready to go back to work they've got nothing done so far and they already find themselves in a three possession hole Jesse yeah and as a head coach you're wondering what didn't I say what didn't I do to get my ready to go because we look like we're sleep walking at this point nothing went well in the first quarter you just say refresh like let's try to find a way now chip into this lead try to make it somewhat manageable when you get to the half now here on second down see if they keep tossing it around scanning the field it's bow unloads to the wide out oh picked [Applause] off and they'll drag him down after a good return on the interception love when you start to understand what we're doing defensively if they're going to pass the football and that's where they're going to live well I'm going to leave them DME I'm going to bring more defensive backs on the field so I can cover more of these speed guys that they have out there great job by the defensive back breaking on the football making the int making the DC look very smart UCF has it once again what do you think about that this offense has really been clicking in the game so far Jesse no doubt everything their play caller is dialing up these guys offensively have been able to go out and execute yeah and it's just maintaining the lead keep doing what you've been doing you got a big lead let's just keep piling it on until they find an answer didn't get much done on that first play of the drive it's second and [Applause] 11 quick release on the RPO oh the sweet Juke gets him free final run out of bounds but he has this offense rolling with a first down the knights have moved it inside the [Applause] 20 Wass to throw on first down quickly complete he'll be stopped just short of the end zone but they'll have it first and goal you can just see the command this guy has of the offense he's been picking this defense apart matriculating in the ball down the field he's now got him in the Red Zone close to the goal line I wouldn't be surprised if they just keep letting him throw it this offense has been a juggernaut and they have a chance to pad their total just before halftime they bring him down and he's going to lose a yard on that one maybe that stop shows this defense is tightening up especially in the Run game the offense frankly they've been able to do whatever they want to do they just handed the ball off this guy's having success left and right no sir no Moss get it together can the D deny them on second and goal tries again to get it in just hammer it with this running back again and he noses his way into the end zone and he's in for his third rushing touchdown College fantasy football players that is what you want to see plus six plus six plus six let's go [Music] [Applause] they'll try to add another to their lead for the extra point and the extra point makes it 28 to nothing a very efficient five-way scoring drive and finish the deal with the short touchdown run from the two the kickoff team out there and ready to go on on the move from inside is five really disciplined job by the coverage unit to get down there and make the stop at the 19 the beat offense ready to go back to work these guys have taken some body blows in the first half but now a chance to do something to feel a little better going into halftime Rees they got to respond now they they they got to put points on the board right here cut into this deficit create a little bit of momentum cuz this one's going to get out of hand otherwise yeah there are a lot of offenses out there that might just say okay let's just regroup and figure it out this offense doesn't have time to do that they've got to be aggressive they've got to throw it down field they've got to score points there's a timeout called as this offense tries to find a way to draw a little closer to the air it's Bower working the middle it's complete we got got a timeout here late in the first half and they'll try to get more points on the board before the break not the most productive half for this offense so far but finally starting to get it in gear first and 10 he's looking to throw it takes a hit as he fires a beautifully placed ball to the outside and the tow drag for the big pickup just outstanding execution continuing to work his way back through the football yeah and everything about this route look looks vertical The Comeback it looks like it's a go I'm thinking speed and then he sets it down QB puts the ball in the money and he makes the play going up top on first down throws for the tight end he makes a catch defense is there to make the stop but he's got the first down and they'll have it first and goal with the six good pass protection isn't just offensive line right running backs also have to be able to pick up the blitz that running back did an outstanding job that allowed his quarterback to just buy a little bit more time before making that throw and here's the chance to cut into that lead before halftime first and goal he's got it they will score touchdown bear cats man nice job getting the passing game going th this is big man going to the half and listen I know you're trailing but building some momentum maybe this second half we can keep airing the football out cutting into this deficit and who knows what the heck will happen he'll try to tack on one for the extra point the extra point is good but they're still down 287 so that scoring Drive took only six plays and they get it into the end zone with a 6yd touchdown pass maybe feeling a little better about things till a 21-point game as they're set to kick it off he'll bring it back from inside his five not a lot of space to be found good Hustle by the coverage team and they stop him at the 21 line gets set first down [Applause] the give to the running back from the shotgun may not be the most memorable play of the day but it's important as he gets them out to the 25 yd line we played two quarters here time to go to Kevin Connor in our halftime update gentlemen what else is new a really rockus environment there in Orlando talk about a first half from that dude out of the back field he's been a total Game Changer and how many top plays moments have we seen on Miss tackles Alone video game moves from one of the shiftiest players in all of college football and with that let's send it back to the guys just down the road from our EA Sports Studios at the Bounce House the knights will kick it away first in will start the second half he'll start the return inside his five nice job by the kickoff team everybody stayed in their lanes and they'll stop him at the 16 the Bearcat offense ready to go back to work able to pick up a couple before he's dragged down at the 19 and a lot of times you want those big plays you want those Splash plays but sometimes you're going to take some losses you're not going to run the football over well but if you continue to run it you can at least create some balance you at least have the threat of it otherwise you're just going to abandon it and now it's just going to be a passing game give to the running back he is going nowhere stop at the line of scrimmage on the play great job a contained by this defense and in order to do that end man on the line of scrimmage defensively has got to be able to set the point and force the football back into traffic and that's exactly what happened the bearcast want to pick up the tempo looking for a man it's Bower fires to the wide out wide open downfield that one could really put this drive into high gear as they have a first down at the 37 well they execute the end route and how about the arm strength by the QB that was an absolute bullet on that completion the Bearcats have it with a first and 10 used the play fake now to throw he's moving out of the pocket he's going to run it that's what you expect from a senior don't give them any extra yards great tackle there welcome to the frustrating reality of college football right the guy at the quarterback spot he can just do that pull it down get positive yards makes the defense have to account for him every single play they want to get this defense on its heels from the gun running back gets to G and they'll bring him down after a short pick up third third down in this off is already in a world of trouble they can really use the conversion not to mention multiple [Music] scores from the gun wants to pass catch in the middle it's Smith a quick tackle made but he's got plenty for the first down the tackle is made at the 50 and that's good enough for first down the Bearcats have their offense in high [Applause] gear he leaves it with his back give him a couple on that one second and eight coming up this offensive line better figure out a plan for this deep tackle he is tough to block with one guy you might want to start double teaming him he's going to be a problem moving forward you saw all of his ability on that last play after picking up a couple at second and [Applause] eight here's the hand off that play just never had a chance a knock him down for a loss of five they have out that defense on the snap they are in the back field great penetration nowhere to go for the running back that defense was sitting on G waiting on o this will be the eighth play of the drive but a great opportunity for the defense to get off the field on Third and long he's going to have to turn one loose downfield he'll pull it down and run at the 35 he's loose he gets the job done picking up the first down and getting down and you're seeing here the difficulties defenses have trying to contain this guy if you leave a lane opener you don't sack him right away and you allow him to get outside the pocket he is going to take off and he is very difficult to tackle in the open field he's got running back likeability out in space losts to throw on first down off the play fate and he just flat dropped it I think he wanted to run before he secured it well it's an unfort a drop by the tight end there and he's a guy they just have not been able to get him involved in this football game we're here in the second half and this guy still doesn't have a catch offense gets set for second [Applause] down from the gun the ground game pick up of five it'll be third down at five I know the passing game sells the passing game is exciting but it's not exciting to get five or yards a pop on the ground but it will be very successful and the Bearcats want to move quickly looking downfield it's bow firing to the right complete he couldn't find anywhere to go and now it's Fourth Down get suffocated right away how about the DB just seeing that ini pulling the trigger get to him get him on the ground get the tackle for and the field goal unit is on the FI and he's got to find the right combination of distance and accuracy from the right hash and 45 yd out it's good he hit that one right down the middle 8 [Music] so they're lining up to kick it off after that last Drive put a three spot on the board and now the defense will try to shut him down coming out with it it's Townson not nearly as much as he'd hoped when he brought it out of the end zone he'll be stopped at the 15 the UCF offense back on the field ready to go to work off the play fake on first down to throw a strike downfield and they were looking for a chunk play and they got it the explosive picks up more than 30 man if I'm a defense I got to find a way to get some more pressure on the quarterback or disrupt their timing and their rhythm I can't give him these big chunk plays through the air I got to be maybe a little bit more aggressive or do something a little bit different what an impact from that last explosive play they were pinned down in their own territory now first and 10 from their own 45 not a whole lot of room there three yards maybe second and seven you know it's so important for offenses to want to keep third Downs manageable the way you do that is by having success like that running the football on first down after the three- yd pickup they come to the line Second and seven off the bootle wants to throw it that's caught it's Harvey and the defense had that one well cover just a short game there and I know that wasn't a huge game it was positive but I like doing more of that in today's college football I'm just going to try to give my Playmakers a chance to do damage in space away from all the big boys inside they'll try to move the chains on this third and long from the 50 try and play action looking down the middle PS it in now they're really starting to threaten as they pick up the first down at the 34 yd line it's all about critical downs and distances on defense you want to be great unit defensively you've got to be good on third down and in the red zone for this defense giving up a third down like that that is just a gut punch wide receiver shows motion he's going to pass pulls it in it's Townson there to make the tackle but the big throw is good enough to give them a first down the defense needs to have a plan for this guy they weren't ready for that one drag route running all the way across the field and the DB just can't stay with them because of his speed and as a result they give up a big one the knights with the first and 10 moving the running back forcing the defense to adjust CAU in the back field it's Harvey and just a short safe pass play they pick up a few again this is a running back that can hurt you running it between the tackles and he's dangerous out in space they like to throw it to him out on the perimeter as he picks up a couple yards there now on second down back to pass it's she makes his connection he's there to make the Stop and they threw it in reverse losing yardage on that play they're trying to throw the screen out to the receiver the defense though having none of that they are just too physical they're too fast they force a negative play quite a bit of work to do on third down from the 23 and this D would love to force a field goal try from the gun running back on the move and the defense find finally makes the stop after the sweet run and good gain well it just seems like everything is working for the offense on this drive another nice gain this time on the ground down to the 12 yd line it's first [Applause] down they'll run the counter here is trying to bash It Forward he got a couple is down at the 11 up second down going to work on second down in the red zone is still some ground to cover to pick up that first down on the move it's Harvey give him about a yard on the play it's down at the 10 gain of one [Music] time winding down in the quarter as they come to the [Applause] line they get him on the ground and that'll be the final play of this third period that's the end of the quarter and UCF has the lead and they are starting to pull away as we come to the end of the third quarter let's take a look at how we got here one more quarter to play and it might be unlikely but hey it's college football comebacks happen he'll keep it himself touchdown ni and the Ping has started this is like having an extra running back in your back field this quarterback is Magic when he decides to keep the football he can make people look absolutely silly he shows you on [Music] lining up for the pat for the extra [Applause] point the kick is up and good and put one more on the lead they put it in the end zone with a 12pl scoring drive it was closed out by the short yardage touchdown the kickoff unit about the [Music] [Applause] looking for those open spaces and opportunities nice job by the kickoff team everybody stayed in their lanes and they'll stop him at the [Music] 16 they're going to throw it to start the drive they're working that left side stopped after making the catch and defensively this is exactly what you want right you got the big lead so you can play big zone coverag is just keep the ball in front of you keep your eye on the quarterback rally to the football gang tackle you're going to win this game and now on second down for this offense dropping back it's Bower pressure coming Wiggles free trying to make magic on the scramble Nifty little Scamper on this one enough for the first down and he slides in safely nice job by the QBs sitting back in the pocket you can tell he wants to throw the football go through his progressions nothing home take off and slide I love the slide at the end don't take a big shot now on first down from the 28 he wants to throw quickly complete and he'll step across the sidelines after making a good gain on that one they've done a really good job creating the matchups they want out of the slot yeah dude get that guy matched up on a linebacker that guy matched up on a safety keep him away from the corners by putting him in the slot get him the football let him make plays wide receiver now comes in motion he wants to throw here on second down and he scoots his way to the first down and then slides to avoid the hit second and short is a great situation to be in and look at him he drops back to pass the football he doesn't have to throw the football he wants to be aggressive but he can just take off and scramble doesn't have to take a chance great being ahead of the sticks and the bear cats are on the Move looking to go up top on first down going to try to pop one on the screen they finally get him stopped but what a good job by that front wall to set up the screen and create some lanes for their running back the offense has struggled they're not going to win this game but trust me this coaching staff is still trying to find things to build off of for next week and after an explosive play like that maybe they can generate just a little bit of momentum and gain a little bit of confidence that they can keep coaching up heading into their next game he'll take a shot he's got it in the end zone touchdown Sam Houston a lot of times you see those receivers as soon as they get by the DBS you know that hand goes straight up in the air I got him I got a step on him he got a step on him and the ball was thrown perfectly out in front you can see he runs underneath it gets it and gets the long touchdown on the go [Music] route and wait just a second the officials going to take a second look at this one after taking another look just to confirm everything the officials on the field got it right play will stand and after the extra point they Trail 3517 so that scoring Drive took only six plays and they finish with a big play a touchdown strike from the 46 so they got the score the lead is still 18 as they prepare to kick off and he takes this from inside the five didn't find any crease in that kickoff coverage and he'll be stopped at the 17 now the UCF offense ready to go back to work how about that last drive just carved him up in the air David yeah and how about that quarterback you gave him the ball and he delivered the goods great job taking apart the defense Jesse on that last drive he really did David I mean that was a master class in just reading coverage and being accurate picked up two yards on that last one they need eight on second down out of the gun the inside hand off to the running back it's a fumble defense covering it up and not letting the offense get it back it's a turnover as a Defender you dream about those big hits you you work hard on it in practice closing space getting close and just sticking that guy and causing the fumble [Applause] the bear cat offense ready to go back to work power football with the Run they make the Stop and this running game moves to change as they get first down that's a really nice game it just would have been really nice to see this from this offense earlier now you're getting to the point where there's a couple of thought processes do I build momentum for next week do I try to get this offense the ground game clicking or do I throw the football every play and try to make this football game close a first down run on the doorstep he works his way all the way down to the three and the defense is reeling brings up angle now on second and goal goes to the option he's dropped behind the line of scrimmage that'll be a loss of three nice job by the defense there getting a stop on the quarterback behind the line of scrimmage we know they' burned a few times early in this game by the QB run but weren't going to let it happen there this defense was put in a difficult spot but they've made it is tough and now the offense faces third and goal looking to throw it's Bower and he'll step into the end zone touchdown beats well just as you would expect that didn't take very long it didn't Rees and you've got to make great field position count when you've got opportunities you got to pay it off and the offense took advantage scoring a touchdown didn't have far to go but they got the points they needed [Music] [Applause] getting set for the point [Applause] after and with the extra point they now Trail 3524 quick work on that scoring drive just four plays and he got into the house from the six to finish it all almost ready to kick it away after scoring the touchdown here he comes from inside his own five he was hoping for something a little more Dynamic but they get him on the ground at the 20 UCF has it once again what do you think about that they'll throw it on first down fires to the right makes the grab running toward the tap and they are pushing the ball down the field big pick up on that one and the tackle is finally made well I tell you man this guy's been putting on a show all game long we've seen his decision making we've seen his athleticism because of him they've got this huge lead in the fourth quarter so why stop throwing it just keep it going when the Going's [Applause] good free- snap motion quarterback trying to get a read he lobs one high down the left side works his way to the four yd line and they'll have it first and goal defense just hasn't had an answer for this guy he has been on point this is about as good as I've seen him play at the quarterback position and here in the fourth quarter with the big lead he's still taking shots the knights will try to punch it in on first and [Applause] goal they'll try to get it in with the Run they bring him down and he's going to lose a yard on that one it's going to be tough sledding for the offense here they're trying to ice this game by running the football and bleeding the clock they've got a pretty good lead here late in the game but the defense knows the run's coming right so they're going to be loading the line of scrimmage getting stops like what they just did be interesting to see what the offense does on this next [Applause] one the run up the middle trying to steamroll his way in Relentless tough running gets it down to the four well he's had the hot hand three TDS in the game already I like just force feeding this guy the rocks and War here P if it ain't broke don't fix it they've been the more physical team he does a really good job finding the end zone running the football that's why they've featured him today they're going to throw it on Third and goal dances away and he rolls into the house touchdown you see up he just makes it look so easy impressive R so impressive time and time again he can buy time make you look silly and the defense is just kind of like wait a minute you got him I got him no well [Music] lining up to tack one more onto that lead and now with the extra point they're up by 18 here in the fourth a very efficient five play scoring drive and they finish it off with the score from the four lining up to cover the kick after that touchdown [Applause] drive on the run from inside his own five didn't find any crease in that kickoff coverage and he'll be stopped at the 17 the mircat offense ready to go back to work to the air on first down catch in the middle it's Evans they make the stop after the catch and still some work to do to pick up that first down you know at this point of the game guys trailing the way they are late in the game check down throws are not going to get it done you have got to be more aggressive in the passing game you're going to have to just start taking shots and the bear cats racing to the line in the hurry up back to throw it's Bower still looking on the Move picks up the first down and gets down to avoid contact it's so nice to be an offense on second down in short yardage situations why I can take shots if I want to I can just act like I'm going to run to try to get the first down take a deep shot down the field I can run the football the whole Playbook is open to my disposal they'll snap it on first down from the [Applause] 35 looking to move it through the air and the f physical play there forces the incompletion on first down yeah and you use these running backs so much in the passing game now and you expect him to make those plays for you to make those big explosive plays out of the back field just got to make sure he concentrates and see that ball come in second down here and maybe they've got time to get one more snap off before the two-minute warning scrambling away on the run and he'll slide to avoid the hit a ni you pick up there we hit the two-minute warning and this offense is desperate to make something happen and do it in a hurry as they come to the line on Third and short from the 43 I wonder if they already know they'll go for it if they don't make it here they'll try to pick up the first through the air gets away getting some heat he's taking a deep shot and he's got it inside the 25 chopping up this defense and they've got it all the way down to the 23 the Bearcats come to the line with a fresh set of downs he'll come out throwing on first down and this will be incomplete a big hit there for his second down you know it's difficult for QB sometimes when you're throwing to your running backs because they're not receivers you really got to be perfect with the ball placement you got to make that a catchable throw a little bit too tough for the RB on that one and after after the incompletion on first down this offense looking at second down finds his man down the middle and it'll be a pick up of nine they're facing a third and one and with that pass right there over 300 yd that's a good day at the offense being able to execute do a good job seeing what's coming anticipating taking some shots today but let hold really strong put up some good numbers they'll hurry to the line with the clock still running they're going to try to throw for it on third down caught close to the marker it's Evans gets it inside the five down to the four and it'll be first and goal the offense calls timeout is the second one they've used this [Applause] half off the play fake on first down quarterback now breaking the field touchdown Bearcats and they take it in for six more points the offense will stop the clock and use one of its timeouts nice job by the offense going down the field putting points on the board but you're still down a couple possessions still need some good things to happen you need your kicker to go over there and get warmed up we need an onside we need to score some points we need a lot of things to go right to win this football game on to attempt the try KCK is on for the extra point splits the upright they go 83 yds on the drive and they finish it off with the score from the four 421 they're definitely up against it time running out down two possessions they'll try the onside kick few anxious moments there but the hands team true to its name as they make the grab and get the ball first down here for the offense and they're just about out of chances the defense can stop it one more time as the quarterback takes a knee [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music]
