lots of pressure and then also she lost to S two weeks ago it would definitely a big upset if the wins but possible um how you doing Mrs [Music] that's um can I mean um I think that um this time you know she she made she played a lot of um finals you know final slam and um she may be nervous I mean sabinka might be nervous but you know at the same time Pula is definitely even more nervous also sabalenka won against Pula couple weeks ago at the Cincinnati's um final so yeah on a similar hardcore two weeks go so I think that she actually enjoys she feels more confident that she can beat Pula again um so yeah maybe after after winning the first set you know it would help her relax a little bit but she's playing actually pretty well right now up 42 I believe serving for 52 yep La how you yeah first of all I mean it's going to be a this is going to be an expensive ticket to watch the women's final I I don't know if it's gonna be the same price but it's G to be high uh or any any women's matches really the problem is that the match is just so short exactly no there's nothing else watch I mean there might be like a doubles if they played it's just to too fast I mean right now imagine you're paying you know a ticket for $1,000 because well I I don't think there is if you want to go to the final you're not going to get the absolute worst tickets you want to see so you know I don't know how much is a cheapest ticket two 300 but then you'll be very high but I think people who want to go to the final might as well Splurge a bit if you want to ready final if you want to save money then just go to the second round uh so you know right now it's 52 they played for for 20 28 minutes 28 minutes of tennis you know imagine it's the match that lasts for one hour I mean um that's not a lot of entertainments what do you think Mr Ral um [Music] R did not like match um he didn't like the level but he feel like five sets made it worth it you know it was watching the match it was a lot of like good serving both of them were serving really well and um so you know that really show that's D that really shorten the points so as like right so you know I guess there's a fine line between you know serving well and the entertainment value tennis Sports used to be a lot faster and they slow them down on purpose so that um you don't just win points in one or two shots right right I I I guess I guess R felt like he was very American like um well oh Oh you mean American like I feel like mean based on on their plays not because they were American yeah big surf yeah okay no no he meant based on their how they played not because they were actually both American Americans tend to be um you know a little bit more power tennis so you know big serve big for hands um uh instead of instead of you know more of like a um um of you know like buing the points not taking that means you're not you know you're you're Bu you're you're better at shot selection you're selecting the shot that is probably a little bit more like better long term like a higher percentage shot rather than going for too much to serve and then just I mean it's I think I think it because I think that there probably is some sort of like Co cultural the coaching and then also the courts that they played on also tend to be faster Ben Shelton yeah just like a Ben Ben Shelton TFO know Tommy Paul is a little bit more you know rounded um Ben Shelton definitely is the guy that would just um he has a lot he has a lot of potential you know he has a lot of power but the shot selection is not there so he would just go for too much too fast at the wrong and so it goes out so you're going to have some really spectacular shots and then some you know very crappy ones but women women tennis is a little bit different just because they don't have that power so I guess it's not really an option although if you look at sabalenka she definitely has a l of high power which kind of remind you of Serena Williams you know has L power and uh when you have significantly more power than your opponents then you just um you can bully them around just like just like you like to bully Doo R stepped away from yeah right I don't know I don't know if um if there is such a thing I mean you're right yes they definitely spends less time on the cour over the course of the season um but I would say that you know at 30 I think a lot of the time for women um it has a lot to do with giving birth that can really alter their their C the desire to have kids I mean you can't it's hard to play with that yeah it's hard you know you have to take a break take a break um yeah I mean she was she was always yeah she was she was always up there I mean I think she she even won the ocean when she was pregnant what's to come down to how sabalenka is gonna deal with her nerves [Music] um but I mean I feel like if she plays her game somewhat she should should be able to win for some reason I I wonder if I heard that piga was a she was she was up she was um well actually she broke in the first game or first serve of sabalenka she broke right away and as she was up two Z she held her serve and then sabalenka broke back right away um held and then broke again Pula she went up 42 um yeah yeah exactly it's um she's actually from New York Jessica so I'm I'm guessing you know she she is um uh to be honest I think it uh the difference also with the man it feels like the um the people in the stadium seem to be a little bit more respectful of both players like there is not much like booing like in a women's or at least in this in this particular match no I don't hear the booing so it depends on who plays but like you can either hear a boo or you can or you just don't hear anything when the other guy wins points and you hear big louds when the fan R yeah that clearly um yeah exactly I mean to be quite honest when sabalenka is in the final I mean I think the reason is because she is always the favorites um and because sabalenka has um such power she feels like the match is always in her hand it's just all matter of can she execute or not on that day but she is always you see how she can return you see how she can hit um well she's not first she's second so you guys really good she's really good at the back um and she likes playing against power hitter just because she has that consistency she can control she moves very well so she can really Force sabalenka to to hit more errors but people who are not as good in the back and also don't have the same power then um it's a different story yeah yeah I mean sabalenka you know probably because first I don't know how she could like represent her country at the Olympics as far as like uh because she's from belus I mean the Russians they're playing for like uh what is it called the Russian Federate committee or something like that belus I know um especially because they probably have much fewer athletes to represent um so that's probably also you know well a lot of people did not part like a TF also did not participate he could have no because um it has a lot to do with your ranking for tennis so there are people lower rank than TFO that got in because the people ahead of them did not want to um participate so but anyway yeah for sabinka I guess yes it does make sense for the Olympics just given the circumstances and that she she has also more chances to win the US Open Over You know the Olympics at the French Open there is no money there is the ranks you're you're playing for your country and um yeah whoa back to 55 it's 55 Pula broke back at 53 44 and then she held her then now it's 5 five I mean which is good you know yeah now that I I kind of realize that you know a women's final it's just it better Go the Distance because you you you don't want to pay that tickets to watch a a 70 minute match right you need you need a little bit of something sabalenka is just uh she has nine backand and forced erors to one that's a [Music] Lota well yeah I mean it's also a different matchup Pula is not gonna outow she's not going to try to resp respond fire with fire so she needs to get that ball back and deep um and make sabalenka um make her win the point yeah yeah there's definitely a lot of nerves but you know the question is is sabalenka seems to have more nerves than Pula which is you know somewhat surprising I I mean I guess I can just tell based on the um how they're showing it um you know she is showing it more from the outside P I guess she could be she's just guess a little bit more into her inside her oh wow what a return um [Music] yeah I mean of course you know when you play it all always a big motivation yeah oh boy yeah I'm not biggest fan of the body language right now you see it's 55 she looks like she is she misses the first serve and she's like pausing she's like uh oh and that's a double fault and now she starts yeah I it's fine yeah you see so so you could have already you know after that first serve she already showed some signs of [Music] um she was annoyed by that and then of course the double faults so now she's exploding a little bit she did just did oh oh and you see oh wow and now add out she did not have faith in her second serve so she went for a second like a second serve on the first serve um to get it in and I as probably why she is you know number two I mean she won she won Grand Slam she is up there she's definitely performing better when she plays uh in maybe a smaller event or a semifinal yeah that's common I think she's just going into this match um feeling like she is above and so she expects you know to perform accordingly when you go into the match and you feel like you are when you go into the match and you feel like you are you know the clear favorite I think you well why not no utr rating doesn't they all because at I this level it's the utl rating is very close it's not and that changes and that changes utr level I think the utr rating at this level does not matter yeah that doesn't matter the at the at the professional level what matters is your ranking you want to be ranked higher than your opponents not the UT rating a UT rating is more like assing your like I guess your current like level but for them it's no it's more it's your ranking because your ranking is going to sign your seed at a tournament so you're higher ranked um only for recreational yes it's for recreation it's for a non-pros I think it has it's I guess the most use yeah the most useful for non-pros to assess your performance versus somebody that you never met let's say you travel somewhere you want to play a tournament then you want to be matched up to somebody with the same level at the pro level well they already know who's going to show up at a tournament oh a double fault again yeah well she because she hits two double fults and now she's got four in total two wi that one game bigin king um she was a yeah she's a very good very good former pro big um ambassador of the the bagian king yeah this this this one you open think and she also has the biging cup it's like a tournament that um it's like I think it's at the um the beginning of the year the billing cup they have I think yeah like doubles yeah yeah de again [Music] [Music] yeah yeah yeah it's a different different ways of kind of like cner yeah coping with your your emotion that's afora I think it's different you know matches her personality and allows her to stay focused concentrated big serve and sabalenka holds 65 I think sabinka is gonna try to go pretty aggressive on that um right now no she hasn't won yet at 65 try to take some uh some chances here if she can win 75 that would allow her to um kind of um relax going into the second set but also if it doesn't work out she still can go into the tiebreaker and um allowed her to practice a little bit of the you know more aggressive returns of serves are you enjoying this match Nick um it is absolutely packed yes it is [Music] [Music] yep yeah if we get to the tie break yeah that's good for sa you're going big on that second on the second serve return I think she should do that um take chances here and he may pay off which will be a good start for the second set with the serve and if it doesn't then she gets a little bit of practice going into with the tie break yeah like you know you want to being more aggressive it's just that nice is defending pretty well oh yeah Jess is actually yeah winning those short points but then she just hits kind of an enforcer out of nowhere kind of a middle rally ball oh no five oh Jessica showed a little bit of she's angry yeah she showed and she's switching rackets double set point double set point and that's the thing with tennis you know the things can turn around very very quickly from one game to another you can be you can play a really long game when your service game and um escape and then just win easily the next one and that has a lot to do with your you know also the opponent is usually more affected because you're just disappointed of not breaking some heavy hitting yep back to Deuce crucial game I mean at 30 40 Sabal Lanka Miss is the entire court just and that was not a big serve that's somewhat of a slower serve right into sealin get forehand and she completely misses oh no oh no wow that backand whoa that's a oh boy that could be a crucial miss here look at that one easy short ball and dump it right into the net yeah she knows she knows what she did oh boy that is an enforced error yeah who oh yep there is some big nerves here there is some big nerves that is just the best when you're nervous and you're hitting some really bad one and then you're opponent just right back yeah that's the Theo yeah same same yeah and that's how you get a tight match ugly but tight it looks very ugly on the outside but on the inside if you one of the players it's just very tight it's very hard to break away from that titn whoa wow passing shot it's well I think it the entertainment at this level is even regardless of the tennis just because it is a final and you know the the outcome of of the points have they have a big impact we've had some good points and we have some terrible ones but you know it's understandable she is saving uh set points she is almost an hour yeah we ended up having a longer set well 55 was long 65 is long could have been done in 30 minutes big serve yeah it is packed a packed Stadium yeah you want something to drink I can get the Bobba after um what's going on there [Music] [Music] um okay got it back had a bit of [Music] a step Cur is in the house he's in the building a i h a really good volley whoa double f uh wrong time I mean there is never really a well I mean there is there is an okay time there's not like there is a good time but there is an okay time and there is a really bad one uh and that does not look good at all when you hit a double fall that deuce and you miss your first Ser add out yo that was a tiny second serve whoa sabalenka takes it you see the Rel relief in her head she is very uh well she she had to do a few things but yeah yeah he is she's very stressed after all you know in the final she's never been so it's so good for her yeah just like we're tomorrow [Music] [Music] yeah yeah I've definitely noticed a lot of double faults for sure medv Center medv had a lot of double faults and just not just a lot of double faults but very low low first Ser percentage TFO hits a lot of double FS um well saena hits a lot of double FS uh but Gula well she only hit one she just wrong timing but um but you know you love the double FS Mr sets you know live and die with the second serve second serve is just that thing in tennis it's just terrible second serves it just second serves is just too much sounds good yeah N Miss set this is just um part of our common memories here look if you hit 19 double faults and you win the match um I don't really care that much about the 19 double faults to be honest you know the uh the lesson here is that you were just too good that just means your ground game is I don't know alltime High that's just what it is that is the lesson what is this sound but also the thing is you know I don't think that double fault should be taken as just face value there you know there are different ways of double fating um you have a bigger serve you have a big first serve and you also have a bigger second serve than a lot of people so you know if you double fold by serving very slowly your your first serve doesn't do much damage and that's not good but if you do win a lot of points with your first serves then I think it's a lot more acceptable now you want it you want it fair and square easy hold for sabalenka to start the second man I feel like that second set was kind of crucial I really hope that uh that Pula well she actually came back from a set down in the semifinal so and you know she's playing at home she's playing a final so I think she is motivated to our she's not gonna she's not going to give up that's for sure um but she is going to need seal Linka to drop her level a little bit that was almost an hour long set didn't feel like it I don't know if it's me the oh my I don't know if it's me it just feels like women's they don't sweat as much and I'm sure they do I guess compared to tifo tifo changed shirts 12 times during his match oh Sab backand is pretty massive oh yeah wow big backend down the line backend drop shot and a passing shot well she broke sabinka twice but um she also got broken twice so yeah sabalenka is um the the thing with sabalenka is that you know she she has a good serve where she has a good first serve um but she also has a pretty good return she definitely goes for it on the return so you know breaking her even if she has poor serving days um what allows her to you know stay in it is is you know a decent a decent return game and now 1540 boy yeah he just goes through a lot of towels and I mean I thought Minnesota was humid because I'm definitely sweating when I play there but tifo is in a different category that boy is just sweating double F double fault game point double fault 65 Deuce uh so I guess pigola just doesn't show her frustration as like openly sabinka mean sabinka you can see when she's frustrated buta you see it a little bit less but then you know she just throws a racket when you thought she was kind of composed but I guess she is not I guess not anymore and sabalan I just love that back end oh two z uh two is no good because of the quality of s game if Pula wants to win sabalenka needs to drop her level I don't think that paga has the keys to [Music] um to create enough opportunities herself she's gonna need sabalan Catu uh miss a lot of her serves she's gonna need to get a lot of second serve return opportunities and obviously p is going to need to serve well oh no 40 love what no come on come on I don't I get that you know you're affected by the loss of the first her but I think it should not when you only need to win two sets and you are in the final of a grand slam I don't think that you can just give up after that first said just just just just forget it and and just keep going um this is a very very rare opportunity um I just feel like I don't know if it's because the sound is not is not loud but I feel like the the people need to be cheering a little louder for Pula give her a little bit more support feels like she needs a little bit more more support three Z oh I have a bad feeling about these sets yeah that's exactly right and that's what I meant yeah yeah Pula doesn't have he's not able to um you know against a player like sabalenka the very top that's kind of like the difference with you know sabalenka and IGA they have different different strengths of course but what separates themselves is because you know they are clearly Above the Rest uh with their strengths so they know they know that if they play well um um throughout the whole match they can win Pula at this point she needs sabalenka to drop her level because um because I'm pretty sure that on like an important Point you're G to tell yourself I could have done anything but that well she holds 31 very good well otherwise it would have been over 4 zero d double break [Music] I don't know if sabinka is really feeling that much pressure at this point I mean some but not definitely not as much she's hitting a lot better she's already up a break yeah she does she looks better than in the first set a big sabinka big first serve down a t and it's under a 100 miles an hour that's kind of surprising she probably mishad it a little bit Jessica returns all the serves down the middle which is I mean it's it's a good one but I feel like um she probably needs a little bit more variety um sabalenka doesn't seem to be very um surprised by it she definitely adjusted [Music] there we go nice yes very good fighting Spirit wow um I think it's okay sabinka wins that game um no actually no never mind it would be really good if Pula could win the game right now that way she can start serving in the third set you know well because right now sink serving right so if she if Pula wins this um wins this game she wins the sets and then she starts the third set with her serve that means you know you're you're you have the advantage to win that first game which means that if there is no break you will be up 5'4 um in the sets but it's not there yet see okay well Sanka wins all right let's see IFA can do it what is it um the second set is definitely more a lot better than the first B is playing really good seizing the opportunity making the most out of this uh you know pretty unique takes it actually is it oh yes I did wow that second set was very promising for Pula uh the roller coaster is just it just happens too fast you know you're like going yeah but you see the man now there has the third set like sure you can lose it you have another opportunity wow 7575 wow Sabal Linka is really not giving up I I I am you know happy for sabinka I mean at the end of the day she did play a little bit better so you know she definitely deserves to win that one but I feel like it was also it would have been a good story would have been a good story yeah Koko won it um Pula really HTE those double fults at a really at a really bad time she hit that double fault at Deuce I believe at uh 56 in the first set she hit that double fault at what was it 4030 in the second set when she was about to close out that game important game I think she hit three double faults at really crucial moment so I mean yes Jess is is a billionaire she did say she doesn't have a butler though yeah yeah Pula played well uh in the second set really liked how she played uh unfortunately she did not deliver it in really crucial moment which sabalenka really took advantage of the very few opportunities that she had and uh she just turned it around so quickly yeah sabala's coach has the tiger tattoo on his head okay yeah okay that's um yeah I think she's annoyed yeah why would you be annoyed if people think that you have a butler if you don't like that would just be like that would just not bother me at all if people think that I have something great and then I don't then okay
