Our Last Family Oakland A’s Game

thank [Music] you that Baby's [Music] Gone what's up guys it's Gabe here welcome back to another video we are here for game two of this three game set against the visiting Detroit Tigers and as you can see right behind me me and my family just drove into the parking lot G just opened and uh we're the first ones here and we're going to start tailgating as you guys know one thing you guys probably may or may not know about me is I never really tailgate because I'm always trying to get inside I was always trying to get autographs and baseballs and all these other things unfortunately my family's final a game here as a group all together um so we're going to do this we're going to do this right so as you like I said as you can see behind me they're setting up we're about to be partying it up before this game starts and usually I always hope that we see the A's win but not only do I want to see the A's win I want all these guys to have fun so let's go Oakland and let's let's make one last memory we're celebrating a four birthdays uh today all in one day but today this is this guy's actual birthday Uncle Robert this guy great guy and he uh he saved my battle of the bay uh video he drove me from Bart all the way home and came back so thank this man M happy birthday thank you bro we're going to have a good day yeah for sure Oakland baby oh I forgot yeah Evee you go Evee come back what just give me my m just give my money yeah just just give me my money yeah yeah just give me my money yeah just give me my money yeah got to do it no I'm not doing that you got to do it [Applause] y I don't care about the A and I don't care about the fans just give me the money [Applause] just give me my money CH I ain't doing the get your ass all the emotions you're feeling today um well basically I don't know I'm excited that everybody's together um it is what it is and kind of just uh enjoying the day and experiencing like uh you know one more time with the family uh disappointed that they're leaving and um disappointed the way that they're treating their fans but I mean it's all us all the you know the vibe everything that's it's all us it's all Oakland so I mean teams come and go we got other things to do we got a lot of I emotional too cuz it's like the last time the last time for me cuz I'm not coming anymore I'm I'm across the bay already so go Giants so it it it'll be good it's sad for us you know I grew up here you know with my dad so and you know he's he's gone too but you know it's it's bittersweet it's sad but you know everything uh eventually come comes to an end just like this so but I'm glad we to spend it with them and with the whole family it'll be it'll be good sit in the bleachers and all my dad's side of the family would come here Larry with be in the left side bleachers and that was his that was his thing he did what Gabe did he was here all the time every G and um sad but what are you going to do we been here our whole life so yeah saying goodbye entire life yeah growing up going to the A games and now we're not having that anym time I wish I could have pass passed it on to my kids but yeah okay well uh you know here we are this is probably going to end up being our family's last Gathering as hard as that is to say but uh you know we're here in support of our nephew Gabby and his passion and you know his group of friends the last I bar 68s and everybody else involved never imagined that it was going to be taken from them in the way it has or going to be but anyways yeah it's a little mix of emotions it's it's still hard to think that it's happening but we're glad that we're here yeah same for me um Mom and Dad brought us here probably um around the 80s cuz my dad's dad would bring him to games and their family um and we just fell in love with the game and now we're being very conscious because we are taking the pictures because they are they are going to be our time stamp our memories of today and how important today was and with the family and you know getting us all together we had family from you know the Central Valley that came in which we don't have the opportunity to see them that much but they took time out of their lives to come and spend a few hours with us like I said in support of Gabby and you guys um trying to have a good time which we are we having a really good time thanks for everything let go Oakland let's go Oakland sell all right guys so right now um I'm about to give this to my family you guys may have saw me in a couple videos ago um I went on the field and I was getting dirt and um well I wasn't getting that for myself partially yes I was getting for that for myself but the other half was was for my family so I got dirt and I have this on the jar it says our last family Oakland A game and it has today's date it's a sad thing but I know that these guys will appreciate it so we're going to go hand these out to them right now I say because this is your technically it's your birthday today oh okay on your actual day you should get the first one oh okay oh dope oh this is cool man thanks gab thank you cool hopefully this won't be the end I'm hoping we love you we wouldn't have done if it wasn't for your N/A driving oh [Music] Jesus thank you we're going to have fun today okay we going to have fun today I'm sorry cool thank you it's really nice very pretty appreciate you br this is going to be good man appreciate you dog this is beautiful oh he appreciate oo thank you when I get home I'mma smell this just letting you know birthday to you your birthday [Applause] dear all right guys that was uh that was very hard heart's starting to hurt now but um yeah this game has already started I don't know what the score is probably scoreless right now but uh my family members in the back here they're cleaning up I'm about to go help them um we're about to go head inside what the heck sters in the house Al I found him guys are on the board let's go here West 12 years old she it doesn't matter you found St beses are loaded now for TJ McFarland this does not look good come on that's a double play dang it that was a nice play out there but the Tigers just scored another they just have taken the lead 2 to one how did Emmy and Jesse get up on the screen saw you on the screen y you're famous now I'm famous hey they're on [Music] TV I know some of my Ace friends are going to be really mad about this but my family's trying to start the wave in the background oh I think they actually did start it cuz it's coming [Applause] oh oh pick him off get him come on man come on let's get it we need one more out oh come on [Applause] man yeah wo guys we're going down to the bottom of the ninth inning the as are down to their final three outs they still have a chance to come back after seeing what happened last night I have faith are you dropping out of the race yeah I'm dropping out you are yeah why they're not going to look at them what the heck someone just try to run the field a little girl [Applause] come on JJ oh that's going a well it's now or nean oh drop yeah let's go it was now woo now we're in NE we're not out of the race we are not out of the race let's go Jaz Cameron [Applause] dang it oh he safe it's all out to Zach gof now two outs Jacob Wilson on first dang swing at everything well just like that the Detroit Tigers they win two to one and beat the oak Athletics here guys we are out in the parking lot the A's might have lost this game at least it wasn't bad 16 to3 or whatever that score was a couple nights ago um you know that would have been worse but losing by one isn't that bad the a should have uh scored more I'll say but I don't exactly know what the plan is now but everyone just started pulling out all the food again so we're just going to I guess eat full of water what what did you guys do what the heck rib because I dropped mine okay that's what was on the coke gross we can fix it I know [Music] all right guys so this is where I'm going to end my video the Oakland Athletics they lose 2 to one against the Detroit Tigers but you know what it honestly doesn't really matter about the score what I think really matters is if I had a good time today and I think what I can tell you is that I did cuz if you guys saw uh this past Monday I I was able to go uh to the I was able to go to a game with my friends thanks to my girlfriend uh Natalie she set everything up for me and uh today I set everything up for my family I wanted them to relive their childhood and you know just have a good time and for us the Oakland Coliseum has been more than just a stadium it's been a place where memories were made where my family and I came together to cheer on our team you see we all grew up together bonding over our love for the Oakland Athletics whether it was tailgating in the parking lot going as a group or just catching a game for fun the Oakland A were once a central part of our Lives But as time went on John fiser you ruined that one by one you made my family lose interest and for some you broke their love for the game in the process John Fisher and Dave caval I hope you understand the impacts of your choices you've let down countless fans and my family is just one of those many examples what you're taking away isn't just a baseball team it's a part of our lives our traditions and our community you're taking something precious from us and for that you will always be remembered as a disappointment and a failure but today we came together one last time to chant to my family I'm sorry you don't deserve the treatment you received for simply cheering for our team I love you all for coming together even when you didn't want to give this man another dime this is our farewell to the Oakland A's this is my family's last Oakland A's game together [Music]
