My Brain Has Left The Building! - Wordle, Connections, Mini Crossword & Strands - April 19

Wordle what's up guys my name is Kenny hope you're all feeling good today it is Friday April 19th if you guys are new to the channel I play world connections the mini crossword and strands every single day so make sure you subscribe if you want to see that also I want to mention in case some of you guys don't know that I do have a chess Channel where I'm uploading a video of me playing a game of chess every single day we're currently on day like 62 or something so make sure you go ahead and subscribe over there there's a link in the description and with that being said let's let's go ahead and get started on today's games we'll begin with wartle and the randomizer gave me a word that I am not familiar with it's this word I think it's papal uh I looked up the definition of it it seems to be associated with the Pope again I've never seen this word before so it's also not a good word to put in for Wordle because it uses duplicate letters but we'll do it anyway cuz that's what the randomizer gave me okay we got an A out of that in the second in position so let's goad and uh try something out here um maybe sa maybe H something like candy why why don't we go with candy no it got me absolutely nothing new uh can't be table it could be something that ends in an e though it's not going to be something like dance cuz I've literally just used all those letters in candy um okay large no because I've used the L barge yeah why not okay yeah there is an e at the end there's also an r in this word okay so do I think the r is going to go fourth or first it could be either one so let's put an r in both positions maybe it's two RS not sure here um okay could there be another vowel a u a i a o h r a at the beginning I feel like it's not going to be an R first I feel like the r is going to go fourth so I'm going to go and and try to visualize this like this um H this one's a little bit tricky for me um it's got to be a vowel or something there there's probably a word like this a e but I don't know what it would be could be a u it might just be something that's a tough word for me to come up with I'm not sure not going to be a s right H H yeah Okay I uh yeah I think I'm having having a little bit of an issue today on this word um maybe it is r at the beginning raise oh my gosh oh wow yeah that makes a lot more sense I just had to I put the r in both positions at first because I thought it could go either way and I just I I tried looking for I guess I didn't really try that hard but I did sort of try thinking about a word that starts with r and I just couldn't see how it would work out but makes a lot of sense with a vowel there and an S yeah um yeah that that was uh that was a nice word in fact I think a lot of people use raise uh for like either a starting guess or like a second guess so there might be a lot of ones and twos today because raise is a pretty good word to use in whle um anyway that took me a little bit longer than I I wish but you know what we got there got it in four I'm happy about that uh make sure you leave a comment let me know how you guys did on this one and now we can uh move on to connections so let's go ahead and do that just give me a moment to open up the website real quick okay Connections uh here we go connections Friday April 19th let's see what we got okay we got glue stick cut words Cut Copy those go together paste okay cut copy paste um H maybe this is the they're trying to trick us with that one I mean okay I I don't know is there an okay let me right click real real quick a it doesn't work here maybe it's just right clicking and like certain programs um I'm not sure you also have stick uh think I guess I was thinking like sticky probably because glue's on here so I was thinking about like is there something synonyms for like stick in that sense but I don't know adhere okay maybe I can work with that no I'm not sure um carrot I always get confused about the carrots because there's multiple ways of spelling carrot text writing words um maybe list oh is that one let's try it uh like these are these are just ways of you know using Word words um letters I don't know what would this be no okay list is not on there all right makes sense but it is one away so maybe words text and writing do go together copy like a copy of a book like book this is just like the the category is just book publish lines okay um yeah if I would have really thought about copy before I just saw list I would have put that in for sure um color clarity I guess rod and stick go together I just realized you have carrot and stick on here but that's not the right kind of carrot I don't think um stick rod huh I don't know why this one's giving me so much trouble today um no I I don't I don't get this I really don't the cut and paste we don't have copy anymore so I feel like that that's not a thing then so the copy cut and paste is definitely was they were trying to trick us there um I I mean you had like glue stick on here so like they're not together is the thing but but I am thinking because of glue because of like color and cut like I am thinking of like I don't know like doing like some sort of an art project when you're like 5 years old I don't know but I I don't it's not obvious to me if that's a category um plus the carrot maybe this is that carrot that's the the the symbol um maybe not though I can't remember that might be c a r o t the little um h no I I was thinking maybe that these are just like symbols on your keyboard but no I I don't know um list I'm missing like meaning I must be overlooking a meaning of some of these words and I'm I'm like I need to expand the meanings of some of these because like stick could mean obviously the object a stick or it could be like stick like stuck adhere stick maybe like stick to the rules adhere glue I don't know glue is sticky ah I don't get it I I really I'm really really tripped up on this one I I just I don't get what they're what they're doing here um I would think with it here that I could get something Clarity I feel like I I mean like can I really not get anything here with clarity oh it's got to be like diamond related Clarity carrot cut but what's the what what are all the things with diamonds I guess the color yeah jeez that took me way too long to get okay um all right uh how do I I I don't have the easy one I'm probably going to get the purple one before the easy one one that's just the way things are going today uh I mean paste and glue seem to make sense um stick and adhere I guess attach with adhesive okay adhere I mean I guess it makes sense adhere literally looks like the word adhesive are they do they come from the same word adhesive adhere what's the root word of that H I never thought about that before in my life okay anyway um glue paste stick you know what I was thinking of paste not being like I was thinking of like a paste like a a the physical sense of it not the the action necessarily A pasting same thing with glue I was thinking of like the actual like substance right instead of like to glue something being the like the action of doing it okay anyway uh that's probably where where I got stuck on this one and yes I did use the word stuck intentionally uh all right so what do we got here okay plus Rod en list A+ a A- Rod a list yeah okay at least I got the category for that well that was not too bad today in terms of um you know being able to guess the categories but it took me a long time to do it uh anyway let me know how you guys did on this one um yeah I'm I I don't think there's really anything I need to like look up here I I get I understand all of it it just uh just when I had the words in front of me it was really just confusing me I I did not get it at first but we got there sometimes it just takes me a minute guys um yeah all right that's it for connections let me know how you did on it let's go ahead and move on to our third game with the mini crossword so I need to open that up real Mini Crossword quick all right here we go mini crossw for Friday April 19th let's see if I can solve this today one across get out of here scram Japanese poem with 17 syllables oh yeah I should know this is it the this is a Hau okay why did I it's got to be right like it just has to be who has left the building in a famous concert announce announcement um I know this I I definitely know this um but that's it I I I I don't know why it'll come to me maybe not give me a minute I might need to solve some of the down Clues smartphone notification uh notification is it just like an alarm probably not an alarm uh it could be but no smartphone notification I'm assuming it's the little things that the the popup I was I was trying to describe like what is it it's a it's a thing that just pops up on your screen that that literally could work here let's look at five down mu completely Captivate I I don't think popup is right but it makes sense with one down uh oh uh maybe scram is wrong get out of here wait well first of all they could both be wrong Hau could be wrong too is that if that's even how you spell it get out of here leave no that does not fit with Hau um could be two words okay oh what is this butter I know this I hate that I know these ones today it's not like I've never heard of these things it's like I know what it is and I can't um I feel like the H is right there ah man referees decisions uh what do they do I don't know completely Captivate uh awardwinning filmmaker I don't know film I I will never get these filmmaker directors anything like that I will never get any of them cuz I don't know any of them like a basement that needs to be aired out what what is this I don't I don't get it I I think I'm not going to get anything in here who has left the building uh apparently my brain has left the building my memory uh a famous concert announce I mean I guess I'm not that I I mean I'm really not familiar with this I just know it's something that I've heard of before smartphone notification don't go I didn't even read this one yet stay maybe that will help me this even how you spell this I'm going to reveal literally just this word okay that is how you spell it this is the one I'm the most confident in but then I thought about I'm like well even if I know it maybe I don't know how to spell it um completely maybe this is scram but then hold on a minute calls calls RI is it rivet no what is what is this word rivet is a word but I can't remember what rivet means I hate when that happens to me Elvis how do you is it how do you spell rivet is it with an E I don't get it uh uh reveal or clear uh not clear check check the puzzle okay this is all good must what is this word I I don't know how to spell rivet she Shia I I don't know I don't understand just show me the show me the answer I could probably get this with a couple more minutes but it's already been five and a half minutes guys like uh alert okay that makes sense rivets with an E Aira ayra musty what does musty even mean I don't even know uh sheia okay or whatever it's called Shia sha Shia of course it's Elvis of course just i rivet's a word I don't I don't use rivet like I don't know how use rivet in a sentence like I know what it means somebody said it I would understand but like I don't words I don't use words like that regularly so when you're trying to make me recall meanings of words on this putting put put me on the spot I could not I have no confidence in half of the English language even though I could probably yeah yeah I I was trying to think of what this was all right just get get this out of here I don't want to see this anymore I I'm done with this mini get it off of here I struggled with that way too much uh we are going to move on to uh uh what's it called strands all right uh strands here we go April 19th Strands let's see what we got today the theme get to work okay get get to work traffic hey that's a word how does that fit with this though oh get to work like like you're driving to work like you take the bus or you um you walk you I don't know hire you get hired at work no wrath or wrath this way Pier don't know why that would make any sense uh Port milk um all right let's be serious here music uh um music traffic [Music] um report draw um is it stuff on like the the the radio or something there's a y here day something day is there morning on here I don't know you go to work in the morning m o r more time time this way news Okay um I don't know I don't I don't even understand this really News traffic music News traffic music get to work uh I I don't quite get the category W what the heck is this W going to go with unless the D and the r go together for something and then the W goes with like weather okay drive drive time drive time is that a phrase like I get it did like I said like you're driving to work you know you might be listening to things on the radio or whatever but like um drive time like they're two words they make sense together it's the time that you're driving but I don't know if it's a regular thing that people I don't know okay um uh how many left there's three left okay the T has to be talk just talk just talk okay um and then drive time so music Talk traffic weather news Sports comedy so these are just like things that you would listen to or just types of things on the radio weather traffic news sports comedy talk music I'm not totally sure on that one but I'm assuming it something to do with like your drive to work what you're listening to or what you're doing but uh yeah okay I guess make makes sense to me um if that's if that's what it is I don't know but I could be missing something um anyway there we go
