[Music] the Spirit of Detroit the entire NFL is on notice this is Avery Giovani Spirit Detroit podcast and we're talking Jameson Williams today on today now what I did like about Jameson Williams game is that he took advantage of these man coverage situations he was faster than everybody he was in and out of his breaks and I love the that the Lions took advantage of the shallow routes and getting him speed and space if you want to get Jameson Williams open develop a r tree let him cross the field you see more man out there you see more cover two shell cover three get him across the field and across people's faces and that's what you need to do to get Jameson Williams open and they had an an excellent game plan against Amar Ross Brown and uh Sam leap Porter they had an excellent game plan so you had to in every situation expose J Mo and here he is in a cover three situation and unfortunately for them it turns into man against the dude I told you guys travius white who had no chance against him again I told you he had no chance against this guy and if we got chavius white 101 that's going to break his confidence he's going to have a tough year this year I think uh two years coming off injury travius white is done and again take advantage of the shallow routes last year we seen nothing but send J deep or send J on some route that doesn't make any sense that's the fourth concept no you want to get speed and space and you want to do it with the sh routes you want to get him across the linebacker's face catch the ball and you want him to get that yak okay Jared G did not have the best game I'm not here to clown Jared G but J Mo was saving Jared g j Mo was saving this offense especially in the third quarter laws that we're going to talk about later this week um this was an excellent coming out party for Jameson Williams in every sense of the word I think that Jameson Williams is going to have have a stellar season a breakout season Jameson Williams obviously had 134 yards was the Sunday night player of the game um did a lot of things for this offense really came in all that Gadget stuff that they were doing with Jameson Williams is done Jameson Williams is going to be the guy who spaces out the field I felt that the field was very congested um in the middle of the field I felt that the field was very congested now again some people say Aman R Ra was double covered he wasn't double covered all the time um leaport also he got a feel he got some touches am man ra had like 13 yards okay Jameson Williams role in this offense needs to be to space out this field if you get Guys open downfield like J that's going to create space for the guys underneath it all works in unison I've been saying this since 3 years ago but the lions are doing it now that's why Jameson Williams is obviously the player of the game for me and for all of us welcome to the league j keep balling Out [Music] Boy The Spirit of Detroit
