already declined the fifth-year option on Harris's contract which would have paid him only $6.8 million for the 2025 campaign if Pittsburgh doesn't want to pay Harris that amount for one season bringing back Warren for less and pairing him with a day three rookie or a Reclamation free agent project probably makes more sense from a financial perspective going forward a few teams are zigging where most of the rest of the league is zagging and signing running backs to Big deals to exploit the market and efficiency the Green Bay Packers are one of those organizations after inking former allpro Josh Jacobs to a 48 million deal Jacobs revealed in an interview with Dan Pompei of the athletic on August 28th that the chiefs were also vying for his services this off seon they were trying
