it's finally happening this is [Music] biblical what's going on my name is Joel and this is Joel does music today is a glorious day because after 15 long years Oasis is finally getting back together NL and Li Gallagher have decided to stop looking back in anger you know I couldn't help myself it was just waiting for me right there the guys are performing a couple of dates next summer in the UK and in Ireland the whole internet is losing its mind just so you understand the importance of this breaking news on the band's Instagram account where they announced that the reunion was happening that reel has almost 50 million views and it was just posted early this morning personally for me I'm excited about this this is the reunion I have been begging for since high school to me Oasis is one of the most important bands not just in brit poop '90s alternative rock as well but of all time so now the reunion is officially happening let's take a look at a few events that fueled rumors about the reunion even though we figured someday it was going to happen first there's n's recent interview about the 30th anniversary of Definitely Maybe where he was giving his brother Liam positive remarks now fans were really quick to point that out because usually in the Press he would talk negatively about Liam see I can't sing slideway and cigarettes now on rock and roll star Columbia and all that I mean I can do it right but it's not the same he adds something to yeah well yes it's the delivery or the tone of his voice and the attitude I don't have the same attitude as him next is the report from the times of London newspaper on Saturday that said the brothers finally reconciled and that a reunion was in the works then on Sunday there was Liam's viral tweet that said I never did like the word former later that same day the cryptic teaser not just on the Oasis Instagram account but on nl's account and on Liams that simply said August 27th 2024 and now here we are now let's examine three key players who help their brothers set aside their differences and get the ball rolling on this reunion first up is the band's former Rhythm guitarist bonehead who was The Peacemaker in this whole ordeal next up is Liam's fiance Debbie guther who helped change his life for the better and last but not least probably the MVP in this whole ordeal Liam and nl's mother Peggy who has been urging the guys to set aside their differences ever since the nasty split in 2009 if you want to include a bonus fourth player here I guess the 50 million pound payday that the guys are supposed to be receiving counts Hey listen money could be a good incentive sometimes so here we are now Oasis is reuniting next year and I think there are even more questions what comes next will the brothers actually be civil and not fight on stage what will the set list look like will there be a World Tour and finally will there be new music down the pipeline look unfortunately we don't know the answers to these questions well except maybe the first one but only time will tell for now we'll just have to sit back and watch this wild ride thank you so much for watching my name is Joel this has been Joel does music much love and Good Vibes [Music]
