Teaser of course we got NFL we got a little bit of MLB and let's go and it will continue to be pushed around who I think the three best offensive blind are we talking head coach we talking GM big shout out to homeboy JT Tracy they haven't beat anybody good we don't buy jerseys anymore because I'm Green Bay so i h both of them B really make Show Open p what is up everyone it is Tuesday night you know we're live every Tuesday night with the fresh sh Sports podcast and we are on the real fresh Channel and also on Facebook nowadays this is the third week but just in case you missed it shout out college sports cast for allowing us to be their professional providers um I'm how first with big Luke what's up there umy Kenny p is that the Kenny Powers yeah this is one of them um I just put this on because I didn't want to wear a buttonup shirt on the show again and this sitting on the other I'm sorry I teased you okay no no I was gonna go I was like debating I'm like one button open here no Buton then I was like as many less buttons the better bro yeah just yeah but uh it's a pretty comfy Jersey um uh I uh I think it's actually good for like this warm weather we're we're still in a bit of a heat wave here right yeah it's still warm through the day for sure man oh the evening's beautiful I actually went forget this get this I went for a walk tonight exercise just like a walk it was weird I don't go I don't do many walks not not not since my surgery I mean but uh did you have headphones or or did you raw dog actually no I raw dog I was like you raw dog to walk yeah yeah yeah do you know what I said I just got to set it down you don't have to have it on or looking at it every two seconds so it just left it in the car and I I didn't start at home I started at like in town you're a man you're [Laughter] 40 it is the fresh T Sports podcast like Luke did tease a little bit we got uh it's basically an NFL MLB show we got a lot of injury news and a lot of extension news basically in the NFL world yeah uh we'll we'll get into that uh we also in the MLB we've got uh we got one retirement one firing and one new piece of History so that's how I'm gonna tease that yeah that's that's good all right all right well let's let's zoom in and start the T.J. Hockenson / Minnesota Vikings injury news show let's start out with uh your boy your team TJ hackinson Minnesota Vikings injury news so TJ hackinson will miss at least the first four games of the regular season seon on the physically unable to play list uh continuing to rehab that torn ACL um some stats about Hawkinson last year of course he was one of the best tight enders in the league I think that's easy to say uh he had the injury week 16 against the Lions at that point he had 960 yards fourth at tight end five touchdowns and 95 receptions in 15 games uh so who's going to replace him from what I could tell you please jump in when I'm done here but Josh Oliver is expected to Le the tight end room uh last year just 22 receptions 213 yards uh so my take was you're the Vikings fan uh for me seems like a huge downgrade but I can't pretend to know Josh Oliver either that well so is it a big downgrade or is it just maybe we don't know Oliver that well what's your take from the uh fan side well it's him and uh Mt I guess but um the thing is I don't have much faith in either of them the thing is too we rely on um a lot there's a lot of targets that go to uh tight ends in that offense yeah and uh and T.J Hawkins is the reason and uh he's a nice relief for a JJ or I was say he's a solid reliable guy to check it down yeah and it's uh it's a a cog in their system that they they kind of need right so um it'll be interesting to see I'm a little I thought this might be the case just leading up to the season I'm like ah I don't know uh and man they seem to be tricky same yeah same with another guy that we're gonna be uh talking about shortly it's frustrating or it's frustrating for me because uh we've had so many injuries and and Jord the Jordan Addison story this offseason it's been a little little frustrating but we'll uh you know we're the Vikes we'll uh we'll figured out and you had week five yeah it might be week five before he figured out when Hawk's back in there I don't know how many snaps or targets he's gonna get that week but uh he's strong too man he's bigger than I remember I was looking at pictures of him and I mean of course he's big man he'll catch it short but then he'll plow through a couple guys for some yards after the catch too oh yeah he's he's a beast man uh you know he's typical tight ID but he's a beast and he's got great hands and uh I am not surprised but I am disappointed it seems like it's been a tough offseason for the Vikes but uh onward and upward or I guess we'll see um I didn't know too that he was at 960 yards I didn't know until he looked it up earlier holy [ __ ] he was getting to a thousand he man right so yeah a big blow for sure I'm just not too familiar with the backups there but uh no I'm not thrilled with the backups and there's no point like Josh Oliver is basically a run blocker or you know a blocker old school tight end yeah he's he's your prototypical 60s tight end you know who let them off the line anyway you know yeah what are they do catching a ball what is this um so anyway we'll see I I'm curious to see what Kevin oconnell comes up with and uh well not necessar Kevin oconnell but the Vikes come up with uh we'll see but fingers crossed they'll figure it out uh someone else who has to cross Nick Chubb / Cleveland Browns injury news their fingers for the same reason we're looking at Nick chob and the clein Browns I mean pretty much a similar uh situation there he's going to remain on the pup list to start the season again with at least four games again with a torn ACL and other knee damage now he got it uh quite a bit longer ago than uh hackinson he got it like week two I lost my note yeah week two um two yeah we two wow I missed that I didn't see what week I thought knew it was early but week two was crazy early yeah and he's still out till at least week five of this season yeah um so that their backups uh Jerome Ford Pier strong I like their backup situation more than I like the Hawkinson situation even though they're not really even though they're not really related uh all right so he hasn't been around that long and perhaps people are just romanticizing on what he used to be but if he's out a year and a half is he ever going to be the same I don't know because he's how old now 28 I believe I'll look it up for you 29 28 for sure I know yeah he's closed in on 30 anyway um I don't know I really don't know I don't know if we're gonna see that that lead dog who can lead the league in rushing he'll be 29 in in December yeah in an injury like that we'll have to see I know injuries are not the same guys come back like better than before at times but you're get your running back in the NFL uh it's it's always iffy you know and like for me it's like if you get injured over a year ago and you're not the same I don't care what the injury is I don't know if you'll ever be the same that a year should cure whatever is going to be cured yeah I I saw I'm no doctor I said yeah no true but it's good point I uh I saw an interview on the sideline of one of the Browns preseason games and they're talking the chub and you could kind of tell that this was going to be the situation with him that he was going to start on the pup list and uh just from the way he was talking he wasn't sounding super confident um I think this year potentially could be a complete write off for him uh meaning he might be out the year or that's that's two years of no playing so yeah I I think we're on the same page he's watched he might be he might be I I hope he isn't because he seems like a good dude and I don't care about Cleveland but for a guys's life career oh yeah I always wish the best but uh if I can jump the gun here I'm going just gonna I I know it's too early to tell but I'm GNA tell you he's washed he's done F him if you still have drafts don't draft him yeah hear you his days as a top 10 back might be done for sure his days as a starting back might be done sir yeah I what I do like about the situation I know sorry what I don't like about situation I don't like your own forwarders your lead dog uh de Foreman deont foreman and uh uh strong I'm like okay sure yeah um I don't have uh I like that D and I like that offensive line but they don't really even have that many guys throw to outside of Cooper so it's I mean I mean their defense is good but yeah know you're right I I think they're going to be last in the division this year for sure ah the only thing they'll H keep them in there is that defense uh I'm not like Desa Watson I don't know what I'm gonna get from desan Watson I I mean if if they go 500 uh you know eight n n and eight whatever whatever1 but that won't throw me off too much but I I can't I think the Steelers are gonna be like two games better than them yeah yeah wow it's uh I mean they both have killer defenses and I think Pittsburgh has improved their offense more than Cleveland has compared to last season they very well could be uh behind Pittsburgh I can see that I can totally see that the way I've been talking about Pittsburgh why can't I see that Pittsburgh's great yeah exactly I'm a Steeler all right we'll move on from the Steelers and M talking about them let's go over to CD lamb man he's been CeeDee Lamb / Dallas Cowboys extension making our show all year baby uh but it's official Dallas Cowboys and CD lamb and the holdo four-year deal $136 million making him the second highest paid uh wide receiver in NFL history uh I have the top five list for you okay number one you're GNA know Justin Jefferson 35 mil yeah CD lamb comes in right behind him at 34 a year number what's that yeah sure yeah okay AJ Brown third uh 32 million and then number four and number five are a tie between Alman Ross St Brown and Tyreek Hill at 30 million so for me the money seems like a lot man but I feel like he's a top three wide receiver in the league I know people like the crap on Dallas like the crap on them being overrated for me he's a top three wide receiver in the league and he got paid like it so that makes sense I guess I don't try to follow the money I just look at the comparables um now for me what I have to think about is is there anything that we could say about the Cowboys did they wait too long could they have saved some money last year or even a few weeks ago this year it seems like the Cowboys always wait as long as possible to sign players I think that's Jerry Jones uh oh no it is yeah 100% they 100% needs CD lamb on the field that receiving core without him is dog [ __ ] uh like it is got him for 30 million a few weeks ago or last year from yeah why didn't they just do it is my thing right it kind of It kind of looked like we were trending in that direction that he would be maybe behind JJ any was right and and Jones way but I I don't understand in the way well no NE do I and it doesn't make much sense and I don't hey and uh I don't um I don't particularly like that they made him way for something that was like a foregone conclusion right and but you gonna let lamb walk yeah yeah what are you gonna and then who are you gonna throw to like I I it's really not the best like the second best receiver on that team by far I think is Jake Ferguson the tight end they don't know who's gonna be the running back there I just don't like that that team really I think it's the defense is good um yeah it's uh uh you need CED and it was it was gonna happen I don't know why it took so long I'm with you on that I hear you completely um it's uh it's gonna be a lot of CD because they're gonna need him to do a lot out there I guess I was just taking a shot at uh Jones there yeah yeah no and I do too sometimes he he's you know he's hit he's going through the same thing with Dak right now like yeah H do you not learn your lesson and you know I I'm on record saying I hate hold outs but players are going to hold hold out and if you're going to sign them Do Better Business yeah yeah know I hear you I'm hearing you completely it's uh it's frustrating to see a little bit I I think Jerry how old is Jerry 80 oh I don't know I'll look it up for you go he's gotta be 80 like time to hand the Reigns over 81 yeah 81 think of his quote as saying he's the best GM for the Cowboys or what yeah I was waiting to pass like and he even said that if someone else was underneath him he probably would have oh my God but but he still hasn't given up the job yeah did you know what he did a great job in the N he's putting those teams together and he won three Super Bowls because of it right but he hasn't drafted well time but you know yeah no yeah but he hasn't drafted well since your time 20 plus years you know what I mean I probably the late or early 2000s I guess I yeah when you started tuning in a little bit right like um it really didn't make sense I hear you I hear you why make him just wait why make him wait when you're just GNA pull the trigger yeah yeah frustrating frustrating stuff I'm trying to figure out who else they're gonna throw to I don't know Brandon Cooks is number two receiver on any team but we'll see that's not yeah I it'll be interesting to see what they do with Dak I feel like it's gonna be the same thing he's gonna wait too long and dak's gonna get paid like a top three five guy or whatever yeah yeah I hear you I hear you it's it's it'll be like that too I can't see it not being like that if he's going to be there you're gonna have to pay the man so Pay The Man Dan is he worth it I don't know if some of the quarterbacks getting paid or worth it I think dak's more worth it than a few of them so I I I think Dak is it's hard to say if he's overrated or underrated because it really depends who you talk to I think people just like to crap on him because he's a cowboy and and in the playoffs he's floundered but that's true but there's only like four guys who who hav't there there's a obiously that's true that's a good way to put I just going to put the opposite way but but yeah yeah there's like a handful a small handful of quarterbacks who have hadit success in the playoffs right uh yeah the people who say that they don't want deck like what's the next option give me a better option than Dak there's not many in the league never mind available in the whole league there's probably like three to five guys you'd rather have uh yeah maybe maybe six eight but uh but he's in the top 10 he's top five he's the top five he's in the top 10 all right we're gonna this just pull the trigger on the contract get it over with because what you're right what is better top five top 10 he's still your best option yeah yeah 100% 100% all right moving on then we do Creed Humphrey / Kansas City Chiefs extension have uh some Kansas City Chiefs news here with h Creed Humphrey y Creed Humphrey on an extension that will see him reset the market for his position $72 million 4year deal uh so the Detroit Lions Frank ragno ragno previously had the highest annual salary 13.5 mil uh for a full-time center now Humphrey was a second round pick in the 21 draft and since that draft in 2021 has not missed the start uh in his first three seasons uh and he made the Pro Bowl the last two years so I mean I don't have much to say other than you got to have this guy I mean yeah yeah it makes sense why not wrap him up yeah I don't have a fresh take on this no no he's this a great signing by the Chiefs it makes sense he's the leader of that offensive line he obviously works with Mahomes well he's won backtack Super Bowls and has been this has played I think every snap I know he started every game I'm pretty sure he's played every snap um and uh he's he's one of the best centers in the league why not wrap him up and uh and uh they did and I think makes sense to me BR the record but it's not like it didn't make sense like it it was a reasonable step up from the next like yeah yeah yeah right now is solid but it makes sense you're and it's how it's going to go it's kind of like the quarterback in the wide receiver situations we're seeing right but I think Creed is in the conversation is the best I don't I think JJ's the best too in the wide receiver group but um yeah I tend to who's the highest paid quarterback now oh man mom not momes so I don't agree with that uh oh man which one is it so many damn signings recently there who's it a quick Google search tells me it is momes with the most overall 450 million yeah yeah per per year I me yeah um I didn't have that ready dog no it's okay man I'm sorry put put the put question uh here we go here we go uh so number oh yeah you're totally right man uh Bengals Joe burrow 54 BR good but I mean he's been injured and he has some bouncing back to do to be honest yeah he really does yeah he's got a big year to number two is very questionable I feel like Dak is better than this guy uh Jared G number two 53 million a year yeah I probably want Dak over gof even though I like where goff's at what about Justin Herbert 52 and a half million I like I like Herbert too he's a good quarterback I am I'm over Justin Herbert I I'm over the hype he's not as good as everyone wants him to be uh we'll see this here this will be a make or break year for him what who's fourth who's next uh oh going fourth is Lamar Jackson at 52 and number five is uh Jaylen Herz at 51 okay see Patrick Mahomes is the best quarterback out of all those guys even with burrow in the conversation even with Lamar in the Mahomes but he's not even listed there right that's how it goes that's how it goes he signed his contract earlier so it is how it goes right yeah um but yeah it is about timing a lot of the time too man yeah yeah it's all about timing okay so don't agree with that maybe ked hre's the best center uh I mean he could be uh you could definitely argue with he's definitely definitely argue JJ's I don't agree with the quarterback situation though burrow is up there but he has a lot to prove I'm with you I would say a good chunk of those guys I named off it's all about timing man like uh I mean golf got lucky I I like Lamar Joe burrow I mean I know he was good and he is great he really needs to prove it to me this year to be honest with you man yeah he's GNA put together full season I think for me what he has Pro that he can stay on the field yeah exactly he stay on the field the numbers gonna be there he's gonna throw for 4,800 yards blah blah right but um uh yeah he's gonna stay on the field uh another note here moving on to A.J. Terrell / Atlanta Falcons extension the Atlanta Falcons extended uh cornerback AJ Terrell with a new deal uh he's resetting the market at his position cornerback uh lots of Records here so the Falcons four-year $81 million contract extension 65.8 guaranteed the largest guarantee of a cornerback on a four-year deal I they locked him up I think he's Pro Bowl caliber I think it's why not he's only 2 right and we talked about them last week in the moves they made they're they're put together quite a quite a solid team actually like when you think now here's one thing I wanted to point out about this if you've watched our last couple episodes we talked a lot about holdouts and you I won't go off on them again just go watch one of the old clips but shout out AJ okay while waiting for his deal he chose actively not to hold out a training camp he told reporters that he wasn't going to let his contract negotiations affect his preparations on the field for the Atlanta Falcons quote that's the beauty of it like right now I'm so focused on just being with the team and being involved and just let my agent Works moves and do what he do that's easy for me to just come out and to work and not think about it and know that it's in good hands this is a man this is a man he he agreed to his contract is working when he said he would work Atlanta Falcon fans go buy his jersey today he is for the Falcons I just love this guy for that I I I think that's awesome I didn't know that story but that is cool um I think he's a team player and he's oh yeah he was in the news saying he wouldn't hold out against the Falcons and stuff yeah that's you know what good on him sh out the Falcons for rewarding him appropriately as well both sides did what they were supposed to do a good extension too quarterbacks have a a short shelf life as like a top cornerback yeah and so uh good on them for showing that they think he can you know keep that going throughout his 20s right so and good on Terell I think that's pretty cool and there there anyway was there anyway but um I I kind of like they're doing at least the Falcons are going for it right so give them credit for that oh it's the best Falcons I can never remember to be honest like been a while yeah Matt Matt Ryan teams are pretty solid I was say I remember Matt Ryan but like I don't know they were in the playoffs I guess yeah they're in the playoffs Bunch or a Denver Broncos name QB1 handful of times all right we got one more uh NFL news kind of news oh oh yeah yeah yeah bronos baby QB bronos qb1 has been named I should say um this is apparently news I'll read it Bon Nick says beat out the uh watch out for your mama Zach Wilson and he's also beat out that was so funny anyway and Jared stum so head coach Shawn pton made the decision official on Wednesday so the day after our episode last week leaning the rookie will be under center for the season opener against the Seattle Seahawks uh and I I was checking it out man he certainly has looked better in pre-season for what it's worth that than the other two guys he's the rookie you drafted I mean the Broncos I still have no faith in him this season but I think this is the best call yeah yeah I think he won it in the preseason I think it was kind of up for grabs going in with Zach and Jared situm but um I I think he won it um I think they told them that anyway yeah they did but I think it was still probably not knowing what exactly the head of B Knicks but B Knicks that's fair in the preseason looked like he can play It's the preseason don't get me wrong um and he is going up you have to judge them off something and all all three of them are I mean I don't want to speak on B Knicks because I haven't watched a lot of B Knicks but you don't really know what you have in B Knicks and the other two you know you don't have much yeah you you kind of know where you're at with those guys right they both have stared at in the NFL they both have had limited time to prove themselves yeah limited success too so uh but I I still don't think Bo is gonna win come out win rookie the year anything or U offensive rookie of the year he has no weapons around him uh he's got pretty decent backfield and all right o line uh but he doesn't have many weapons that I can want him be top they'll be luy to win four games um yeah they they'll they'll be around there yeah oh over under over under six I'll say and I'll go underhead man I'll take I I'll go under four and a half you know what yeah I'm I'm torn between four or five wins so so four and a half's beauty yeah be honest with you uh veteran first baseman Joey vad announc his retirement after a storyed 17year career career he signed a minor league contract with our Toronto Blue Jays in the offseason after spending his entire career of course as a Cincinnati Red uh The 40-Year-Old sustained an ankle injury I think this article put uh put it lightly his old ass fell on a baseball bat in the Dugo uh then he he missed two months action and then struggled in triaa Buffalo with an Ops of 489 uh I've got some quotes from him here I wanted to play a year in Toronto at home in front of my family in front of my country I'm really sadden that I wasn't able to make it happen that I wasn't able to arrive and perform at the Rogers Center in a blue jay's uniform representing the city I grew up in uh and the country my people all right shut up Joey vad uh those are not your people you're a Cincinnati Red who's probably a Hol of Famer but you have nothing to do with Canada you have nothing to do with the Blue Jays you on record saying that you don't really care about Canada baseball you're on record saying that you don't really care to come to Canada or Toronto then you turned 40 and you needed a job so you suck up to the Canadians who of course are going to welcome you back because we're Canadians and then you fall on a bat in The Dugout you old bastard so to announce and then he announces his retirement out of the blue on the day the Blue Jays are playing the Reds get over yourself you American Canadian Joey vad what's your take that seems strong no it's not strong Joey V is nothing to can was he quoted as saying that he didn't like baseball Canada yes baseball in Canada or whatever yeah man I'll find the exact quote but it was like uh Canada baseball means nothing to me or something like that yeah oh really no you can't be saying that kind of stuff I mean that was like 10 20 years ago when he tried to tried to walk it back but yeah he's he should probably walk that back he's done a couple questionable things in his career I still wanted him to uh to get called up just to see V and abu's uniform here you go man here you go uh VTO says he couldn't give a rat's ass about Canadians baseball I don't care almost at all about Canadian baseball Joey V 2010 yeah yeah those are quotes he probably should walk that back and he he has but when he needed a job yeah yeah fair enough Fair enough but uh I did still want to see him in that Jersey um I I will I will differ on you in the Hall of Fame thing I think he had uh I think he had a great career and I'm not saying first Ballot or nothing uh I don't know if he will make it I think he's gonna be a guy who's on the CP um he was MVP yeah he was MVP I know that but I think he'll still be on the CP I I think uh the total numbers are what you have to look at with him even though he's the best first baseman in the league for a few years years for sure uh I'd like to see him make it and he here I am like uh defending him to you after I just shot off really but uh but I I i' like to see him make it he might but I'm not sold on it at all I could care less but that's just my opinion on it yeah he did retire with the most hits of active players I think Freddy Freeman was just behind him Freddy Freeman's like already in the Hall of Fame basically uh but uh but vad is going to be close and I do hope he gets in because I think he was a great hitter in his prime when his prime lasted eight 10 years right so near decade yeah yeah yeah he was damn good um but he's a piece of piece of you know what right a piece of you work he's a piece of work yeah you know what um I I did know I didn't like that thing he did with the fan and ciny where he popped his jersey on him because and he's wearing the red jersey he interfered with the foul ball that do you remember that yeah man like he went back and apologized to him I seen him do good things with kids but every does good things he's garbage man yeah sorry is it Cal what Cal's here yeah up C trying to get a hold of you let's see your locks buddy what oh show them show them yeah oh yeah crazy Wings crazy Wings he went baseball to hockey real quick he's uh looking the part Joey V sucks what were we say all I'm saying is he's not Canadian we denounce him we denounce him okay see buy have as a Canadian citizen we don't want you I recognize you your greatness but as a person as a Canadian citizen take your stories and go back to the state yeah I uh I have a little more of a soft spot for him but I hear where you're coming from with you you know what people people can grow up so we'll just say maybe he grew up he hasn't grown up he reti out he's probably gonna end up onfor It Whatever boys he retired out of spite because he couldn't come play against the Reds I have no proof of that but it just speculation but uh great career Joey great career yeah okay you know what I'll leave it at that and we'll go on to uh some other MLB Seattle Mariners fire/replace Scott Servais news uh this one is about Seattle Mariners who have fired and replaced uh Scott surveys I always say that weird Scott surveys uh so this was on Thursday's off day last week they parted with the manager and replaced him with Dan Wilson who is a former Catcher And is also a member of the Mariners hall of fame um the Mariners Hall of Famer uh yeah Dan Wilson catcher Dan Wilson really I mean it's the maror Hall of Fame yeah I know but still so it's like griffy buer Dan Wilson so now I think we talked baseball a few weeks back and and the manners were looking good uh and they've basically imploded uh I've got some information right here June 19th uh on June 19th they had a 10 game lead in the AL West since then they've gone 20 and 33 so that's a winning percentage of 377 only the white socks have been worse than that so you know it's never really all going to be all his fault but I mean have to do something what do you think man I I was questioning if this team would be back to like a playoff Contender at the start of the year I think they have some nice young arms I don't know if I necessarily like the arms and the combination with the bats enough to to not be surprised I was surprised they've fallen off the way they have but I think they were kind of a fringe Contender more than a contender and it makes sense so with the firing with how shitty they've been recently right I had them in the play in the Wild Card yeah I know and I was I was thinking they were too and I I hem in hard looking at them this year because uh I was telling people last year how much I was liking them right but I'm like I don't know if I they do need some more bats man but yeah they do I agree and uh and I guess Scott's the guy to go if if you're you know sliding like this it makes sense mid season are are are they trying to bounce back like I guess so right yes it looks like they are but I don't I don't know what they're maybe next year regroup because if they feel they have the pieces just restart we're into September now but what are they six games out the wall card they make the playoffs you know what I mean yeah how far are they are they're four games out of the West I think and then six games out of the wild card in P War something like that which is uh not insurmountable but we're getting on the last month of the year yeah exactly man last regular season month right so I'm just trying to pull them up here on the fly yeah I thought there's like six back in the wild card or or four back I mean they're still only three and a half back of Houston for the West is it only three and a half that's that's doable I mean they got to be in that wild card just saying four so three and a half like why can't they do this you know but uh oh they could yeah they very well could but yeah are oh wow but they're five and a half back of the Wild Card yeah who's who's ahead of them in Boston and Minnesota that's tricky man they really need to catch Houston really it's gonna be easier to catch Houston than yeah yeah I think when in the division is going to be easier than the wild car catch the Houston's looking good especially you know they got Kikuchi throwing the change out and part of the thing is I I think like the teams that are in the division that same division with them there's two teams that come to mind you know there are that are I think better teams on paper right so yeah but not saying Seattle wasn't I was thinking more of a fringe Contender I am a little surprised how far they fell off recently the DraStic drop off is far makes sense I guess and we'll see what Dan Wilson can do but I'm like uh it's PR for the course iess I guess you know you can see it coming when it when teams start to flail it's always the manager that gets canned so mid season's crazy but I guess they are just trying to get that new manager bump just to catch them the three and a half game that it's a pretty drastic move for yeah it was now I'm curious to see what uh Seattle Hall of Famer uh can do I'm G to look up his stats he must be a great defensive catcher um I'll save that for after who he is I know I remember a playing but I didn't think of him as a mariner Hall of Famer but sh up Dan Wilson man he's taking the playoffs baby he might and you know what he'll win manager of the year if he can get it done so is that quick a Time di out wouldn't that be crazy that'd be kind of cool wouldn't though all right interesting one it is Danny Jansen makes history now interesting we got one other all I can really call it is interesting it's history Danny Jansen oh Danny Janson yeah our old catcher uh so Danny Janson made history as the first major league uh player to play for both teams in the same game which is kind of wild to think about so he started it as the Toronto Blue Jays catcher on June 26 then the game was halted uh it was rain right uh and Janson was actually up to bat in that game when they ended it in the uh second inning then the next day he was traded uh they had that makeup game just a couple days ago and he played for the Boston Red Sox I mean uh I I don't think we'll ever see that again or not for a while it's gonna be a a tricky one to fit in uh I don't exactly know how how often that's gonna happen on both scorecards man it's they sent that to Cooperstown I'm pretty sure I think it's awesome I thought it was a super cool story because you're right I'm with you like when the hell are you gonna see that again uh if a guy's traded mid game to the opposing team he's not going to suit up for them yeah like it was a weird coincidence of the rain like the rescheduled rain game uh coincidentally traded to Boston uh coincidentally happened to be next up to bat yeah yeah he he had to be pinch hit for because he wasn't on our team anymore yeah yeah isn't that isn't that a mess man that's crazy I I really love the story because you think about it if a guy say a guy from the Tigers gets traded to the Padres mid game there's paperwork and [ __ ] you're not going to be able to play for the padr the same game you know you know an order that goes through right um the words escaping me but um you got it but but yeah I think it's a I think it's a great story it's it's actually really cool I don't know I think it's definely a baseball nerd story what's yeah it's a weird baseball story that's a good way to put it um but uh and and won both games we're losing right now pretty bad but it hardly matters hardly [Music] matters but uh but no cool story I think it is cool I was sad to see Danny go though I really like Danny um all right I was sad to see him go every Artic yeah oh yeah it he was expiring had to be done what what I find kind of sad is you and I and every blue jays analyst fan all thought Danny Janson was a great starting catcher I have not once seen any Boston fan or Boston media ever think of him as even start worthy every every article's like Danny Jon backup catcher backup catcher plays in two games and I just thought that was wild like I don't know who has the better view on Danny Jansen and I don't know if it I don't know if it's fair because Danny Jansen worked well with the pitchers in Toronto which means work well with the Toronto the pitchers in Boston he probably did Miss more time than most starting catchers but he was great yeah but he's got when he's playing he's got pop right and he is a guy who can threat power from from the bat he's a good Catcher And he works well with I I think they will see in time if he keeps playing at the calvary can and stay healthy stay healthy yeah he uh he he can he can be a guy that Boston wants to have around right um I'm just trying to give him his uh kopin he's he's a good player oh definitely Wrap Up man definitely is one more thing I want to say though yeah I was gonna say go ahead um Ernest Jones the uh Rams linebacker who apparently the Rams didn't like he's ball bit of a ball Hawk um he traded to the Titans and I think the Titans are but I missed that man story dude I missed that one yeah I sent it to you at the end but uhad it's okay and I think it's a great pickup for the Titans and their defense is slowly improving and I think they could be a thorn in some team sides yeah they're going to win more games than they did last year I don't C them as up and cominging like Falcons Lions but they are going in the right direction yeah yeah they're definitely going the right direction I I I think they could surprise in a few games this year for sure I don't see them win the division but I do think uh Tennessee Titans fans will be happy to have Ernest Jones he can he'll rack ton of tackles for you so uh so good on them for getting him and uh I just to mention that oh yeah of course man that's um well this is normally where I say did I miss anything but I guess I did did did I miss anything jumped the gun sorry yeah no no no no man I was just think like this because I always have something to blab on about right so oh it's good try it again try it again try it again um man did I miss anything no perfect show perfect episode fresh T Sports
