all right everyone so we got a troubling I would say ESPN update about Chris McCaffrey's injury so we're reading from clutch points there citing Adam schfer he says not only is Christian mcaffry out tonight but there's a real chance he's not going to play in Sunday either they play in the road in Minnesota on a on Turf in a shorter week so he's inactive tonight and it looks like there's a real strong possibility mcaffrey will not play Sunday against the Vikings as well so this means McCaffrey's out a second game now it's not a problem right that he's missing a few games the 49ers will be able to get through that that's not the issue the problem is is that and we brought this up in our betting preview for the Jets game we said look he's still questionable I don't know what's going on with it this seems like an injury that could be a problem and that's where we that's where the issue is right the issue is not the games that he's going to miss he could miss three four weeks and they'll be okay but if this is something that lingers and this is something that he has to constantly watch and this is something that you know he plays three games oh it's back again injury again injury again that's a problem and they need him for the playoff stretch so my guess is they're going to be as cautious with him as possible but the scary thing is is these kind of injuries like this these ones that are nagging these ones that are you know in a sense they they feel okay then they feel bad again they feel okay they feel bad again these are things that could ruin a season because it's just constantly there and they never know what they're going to get on what day because you know it's just a it's a weird injury so this is concerning news that he's like that he's this you know injured um but who knows you know like I said if they take it cautiously if they push the timetable as far back as possible and say look we're just going to we're going to sit him until he's ready to go hopefully he'll be good down the end of the season you know they they dominated against the Jets anyways on the offensive but for a Super Bowl run Christian mcaffrey is essential so we'll see what he can do so thank you all for watching and we'll see you next time
