Courtney Kardashian's lemi brand is under investigation and she might be facing a lawsuit over false advertising for her gummies this isn't a total surprise as her products have been scrutinized before including by a tick tocker who questioned the effectiveness of the ingredients with Courtney's name behind them people were already skeptical but now it's become a major issue let's dive into lm's history what this investigation could mean for the brand and the details that have come to light this week an article from the Independent reported that Courtney Kardashian's lemy supplement brand might be facing a class action lawsuit for deceptive advertising according to the article the class action litigation firm Zimmerman Reed is investigating lemi over claims that the Brand's products have been marketed in a misleading way the investigation is focusing on several of the Brand's products including lemi per gummies which are supposed to Bo boo vaginal Health lemi curb capsules for supporting healthy blood sugar lemi debloat gummies for relieving bloating and lemi matcha gummies for boosting energy metabolism Courtney has already faced backlash in the past especially for lemi purr which is advertised for down there when she promoted it on social media many people were confused and gynecologists even spoke out against it warning people not to buy it they criticized her for promoting the idea that people need to change the taste or smell of their bodies now it appears that more than one of her products may have been falsely advertised the independent article points out that Zimmerman Reed is asking lemi customers if they expected the products to work as advertised if someone purchased lemi per gummies lemi curb capsules lemi deblo gummies or lemi matcha gummies they could be entitled to compensation in particular the lemi matcha gummies were found to contain only 100 mg of matcha far below the 2,000 Mig in a single teaspoon of matcha that's actually needed to Boost energy this raises serious concerns about how these products have been marketed Courtney's brand has faced criticism before earlier this year a Tik Tok account called be better company questioned the marketing of lemi the Creator initially planned to praise the Brand's marketing but changed his mind after purchasing and reviewing the ingredients he discovered that the supplements didn't live up to their claims and decided to warn others the creator also exposed that lemi uses something called proprietary Blends which means the brand lists a mix of ingredients but doesn't disclose how much of each ingredient is actually included this practice is often considered unethical because consumers don't know the exact breakdown of what they're consuming he likened it to selling a bag of mixed items without revealing how much of each is inside this kind of secrecy is why many highquality supplements come in capsules rather than gummies which often lack the proper dosage of medicinal ingredients he also criticized the extremely low amounts of active ingredients in some of lem's products like lemi chill which contains just 15 mg of Botanical an amount that he claims would have no effect at all he expressed frustration over the brand cutting corners and miss leading consumers another issue he highlighted was the Brand's alignment with Courtney's public Persona on the Kardashians she's portrayed as being sugar-free and health conscious yet her products contain sugar which makes it seem unlikely she uses them herself if she really consumed two gummies from each of her products daily she'd be consuming around 30 gr of sugar each morning far from her sugar-free Lifestyle the only product that seems to have positive reviews is ly sleep which people on Tik Tok claim helps them sleep better interestingly it's the one product not being investigated so it might be her standout item people have shared that it helps them sleep deeply even if some believe it's just a placebo effect however with the rest of the lemi products people are feeling scammed especially given the $340 price tags Courtney also sells lemi glow lollipops marketed to enhance your Natural Glow but many people are are doubtful that a watermelon flavored lollipop could really do that given the previous skepticism about the ingredients in her products it's no shock that lemi is under investigation whether this will result in a lawsuit against Courtney remains to be seen but I'll keep you updated as the situation unfolds let me know what you think in the comments because this seems pretty hypocritical for someone who's been so adamant about Healthy Living is it all just a scam share your thoughts and I'll see you in the next video bye guys
