in a few weeks Julie chrisly will face a resentencing hearing however at this time her whereabouts are unknown chrisly was serving her sentence for conspiracy to commit bank fraud and tax evasion but leaked screenshots that were shared on a Reddit Forum last week indicate that she was not a prisoner there as a result rumors and queries regarding her whereabouts have been going viral online fans of chrisly knows best conjectured that christle might have moved to a new prison or belonged to the US Marshals she was not in the custody of the Federal Bureau of Prisons Bop as they verified in a recent statement to Channel 2 Action News according to bop's statement there are several reasons why an individual may be referenced as not in Bop custody previously detained inmates who are incarcerated and have not served out their entire sentence may spend some time out side of FBOP custody for court appearances medical appointments or other reasons Bop adds that her whereabouts cannot be revealed for security concerns this declaration is being made while chrisly awaits her resentencing hearing for her involvement in the bank fraud and tax evasion case for which her husband Todd christle is also incarcerated because of the distance she would have to travel from the prison to the court chrisly filed an appeal for a resentencing on Zoom to the disappointment of her daughter Savannah Chrisley the judge turned against her request September 25 is Julie Chrisley's resentence hearing date the chrysle Knows Best cast members and Peter Tarantino their accountant were found guilty in 2022 of conspiring to commit bank fraud and tax evasion in 2006 the Christley received sentences totaling more than three decades in jail with nearly two decades of that time spent Behind Bars Julie's sentence was lowered but Todd still has 10 years left in jail Additionally the court of appeals determined that there was insufficient evidence to substantiate Julie's significant role not the crime she was found guilty of fraud even though her involvement in the crime was minimal September 25 is the day she will be sentenced again Julie thinks that despite the news of her rescheduling her release may occur sooner than many had anticipated J surgent the family attorney for christle claims that her client may be released from jail in the spring or summer of 2019 after having her sentence shortened by 10 months the previous year for her good behavior Savannah her daughter is still prepared for the worst though she claims that a lot of things within this legal battle have not gone our way even though she previously stated that she was getting ready for her mother's return she might be released from prison before the end of the year but there will still be a new legal battle due to the involvement of her son Grayson Chrisley in an automobile accident Julie received legal paperwork while incarcerated although the crazies retaliated in the case no new information has been released as of yet
