I want to make this a bouquet tossing contest but let's give a round of applause to Dr West and your mayor they're doing a great [Applause] J now how many of you out in the audience have never been to one of our town meetings raise your hands see a fair number of newcomers so what happens is I usually make a few remarks like maybe a half hour 45 minutes and people think us really super fun no we're not gonna do that this is part of the Pledge as the mayor and Dr West mentioned uh I made and I think frankly it's more important now than ever before to throw open the doors of government and what we're going to do here is you're going to tell me what's on your mind this is kind of the way the founding fathers wanted it to work I don't have all the answers I'm
