start from him wasn't it to the season we'll see we'll see how it goes uh this is the 24th of August 2024 of course uh match day two of the 2425 Premier League a 3 pm kickoff we had a few of them last year didn't we so uh perhaps we're not very watchable on tell these days I'm not too sure we might as I'm recording this we might even see old Gondor back as well knows but uh where have you been we'll see I'm recording this on Wednesday the 21st of August 2024 all comments and Views Peppa I got nine I got nine with a tentative 10 right for the for the last game of course Chelsea I'm little bit more confused this time certainly with the England players whether apart from Fen we're going to see anything of Walker and stones but we we'll have a talk through it anyway we'll have a talk through peps 11 and we'll have a quick look at how the tractor boys did pre season before that Liverpool game as well and see what what they've been up to so let me know your thoughts and predictions him at home we played 29 won 17 drawn seven and lost five so it's okay not brilliant 51 goals who score 25 against of course a managed by kieren McKenna who jumped from United back in December 2021 he's done a very accomplished job ATS which he took a bit of a chance with him took a a bit of a punt and it sort of worked out pretty well so far he doing very very well pre-season they beat nce at home 1 nil on the sth of August they beat hoffenheim 1 nil on the 3D of August but before that they'd lost to dorf as well at home on the 27th of July so they improved and of course match day one it ended it switch nil Liverpool 2 and it was a bit of a tough ask wasn't it with the visit of Liverpool with the new manager and new manager bounce Etc though they did battle hard until Liverpool finally went ahead on 60 Minutes and the Liverpool sort of finished the game off 5 minutes later uh taking a two-nil lead and pretty much controlled the game after that uh that first goal went in as it Swit sort of tired didn't they they' look very threatening on the break in the first half it switch old dap up front of course be interesting to see how he goes on against us leading the line they certainly rattle Liverpool in that first half but of course it switch once they did go go behind seemed to lose a little bit of heart and fights uh certainly after going two down as well very quickly afterwards which is the the problem with the premier league isn't it it's bit demoralizing you work hard and then uh hopefully we can do a similar sort of thing make them lose heart very very quickly H ins they have they have purchased a few plays or Mari Hutchinson from Chelsea he cost 24 million these are all your Olds 24 million Jacob grees from Hull he was 22 million dap of course cost him 18 million which robbery I don't know smic smodic from Blackburn he was 11 million M another another ex City player of course M from Burnley he was 10 million and they just recently got a a DM from Napoli on loan kuster I think he's called so yeah so the least theyve you know some of some of these newly promoter clubs don't seem to sort of put much pay on bringing players in I mean they just take the money and run for the Premier League I don't know but at least at least it which have made the effort and it's I think they've got a reasonable project there they've got a good owner a good manager as as I said so they've got a good project going but if we hit them early as I said it could we could demoralized it could be a long afternoon for the suffk 11 if we can uh sort of hit them hard and quick and of course not wait 60 65 minutes like Liverpool but uh we'll be I'll be disappointed if it takes us that long to break him break him down so that brings us onto peps 11 what's who's going to who's going to play to break them down well our line up against Chelsea Edison lisis aandu Diaz gardio kovic kdb Bernardo doku Harland svino of course on the bench greish Nunes folden maky O'Reilly Orga Walker Aki and stones of course Savvy picked up an injury um not too sure he's back in training i't seen any pictures but I don't I think they'll they'll rest him on Saturday I don't think they'll risk Savvy on Saturday even though they sort of know what the problem is and he's had the problem before and he usually recovers quite quickly I think I think he might get rest uh so obviously to come back in I think Phil obviously got 45 minutes didn't he I think it was a bit of a steady game against Chelsea didn't do anything on towards so I think he's probably due for a call back into the team now he's got that 45 minutes under his belt rodri probably I said I've not heard much too too much about mats I think he's still very doubtful I don't think he'll be risk against ipswitch In fairness uh as kovic did the job against Chelsea at the bridge I can see asked to do a similar job here gundo won't be playing in this one that's for sure uh Stones over even if his here cuz you'll know you'll know probably when you're watching this I don't know stones and Walker haven't featured yet but have to be interesting I mean you know they must be champing at the bit to get a start and a few do need minutes of course we've got a well this isn't going to be easy let's not underestimate a switch but of course we've got a a tricky trip to West Ham next week so you know will pet want to to get some minutes in some of these guys who've not yet started a game for us but I don't expect to after changes I just think a couple at most I can see folden definitely coming into the starting lineup From the Bench uh from that 45 minutes you played um and the only way I can see him get getting in though is probably to rest kdb um if he needs a rest and greish may I know it seems odd doesn't it two one or two games in they need a rest but of course he's got to balance his Squad out out for a long long season and I think his Savvy is a doubt it automatically surely means greish will get a go in this get a start in this one so this is my 11 I'll be happy if I get eight or nine of these guys as I say I'm I'm still a bit puzzled over people like Walker and stones and even rodri to some extent as to what's going to happen but I'm going to make two changes to that Chelsea team so this is my team Edison Lewis Ki Diaz gardio so same back four but same DM kovic and then I'm going to stick folding in there where kdb would have been Bernardo doku Highland and I'll stick greish in where Savvy was so I'm hoping for that as I said I would aim I think pep would aim to give others time as well like the kdb's Mak maky might need some minutes as well Walker of course AI Stones uh I've all got to see sort of time at some stage so if they don't start I assume if things are going okay uh the may get 20 30 minutes in the second half getting a little bit ready for West Ham next week let me know your thoughts guys anyway what you think uh the starting 11 will be as I say I'll be happy with eight and N are that correct right predictions yes Andy Morrison said about IP switch this was probably about a month ago or something like that no disrespect to IP switch use that phrase a lot don't we this is Andy Morrison but I think this is a nice fixture for us to open our home campaign with it certainly is kieren Ken has done the right thing staying with the club he's taken out of League one but this is the Premier League and city are the champions they'll try and keep the ball and be expressive yeah they don't they don't like to yeah they do they do like to that but against Liverpool they sort of were hitting us on the break a hitting them on the break a little bit anyway back to Mazza but they will struggle to impose themselves against us hope so and can only see a comfy home win and Andy's going for 51 for City so he's given a goal I'm not going to give him a goal but he's giv him a goal and that's you can get 20 to1 on average for that uh 5-1 I'm going to go 40 guys I'm I I'm I was going to go three nil I thought no this be a little bit positive let's go for four because you know we've got players for me coming off the bench you'll have something to prove as well so I don't think there'd be any letup from City and you can get an average of 15 to2 on that some other odds at the time of recording that 20th of August uh I did this had a quick look at the odds City to win the Premier League with obviously still firm favorites 13 to 10 in places so a little bit a little bit after match day one we've moved in slightly so we've we've firmed up if you like uh we're e say we're evens to stay up IP switch are evens to stay up yes that's IP switch and they 8 to1 on to be relegated so yeah both pable prices those uh good look good luck to them over the most popular score lines is 3-0 for city which is 6 to1 and the 2 N for city which is 7 to1 one the match odds themselves City a 1 to 10 AR we're not going to we're not going to risk anything on that are we a draw is 11 to one and an nip switch Victory is 25 to one so I switch fans worth worth risking 50p or even 50p on a draw 50p on a 50p on the win if you're an nip switch fan why not it's a a bit of fun in sitting who knows you never know de The Beatles last time we played them I say check out my city 130 last time they played us in the league at uh it was May rooll then of course they beat us so
