could be you could be very happy if you're in a certain part of South America right now for sure so then in what country do we start I think I want to start in par Brazil because first off the stadium there you go gorgeous with the amount of paraguai fanship that showed up to see Paraguay host Brazil and they also got treated to an absolute screamer an absolute screamer the apology needs to be as loud as a disrespect was regarding Diego Gomez man we've disrespected that fool plenty times with Ethan Miami man and that was a banger dude what he made I was like is that go the Gomez that I've been criticizing for years man he's developed Absol criticism at the time were very fair yeah and very fair maybe he took it upon himself to grow after those criticisms I really thought he was a liability might not be the most clinical type of Striker he at least poses the presence of one and so as center backs you have to watch where he's going so I think just his presence in the starting lineup has drastically improved Bay's offense so I love it you add in the fact that Badu's defense recently has really shown up they got a fantastic draw against Uruguay in mon Vio in their last game I think bagay are riding a really good wave right now no congratulations to bag this is the first time they beat Brazil since 2008 it's been 16 years my God 16 years that's no this deserve they played fantastic today dude if you're 15 years old you never seen this happen and by the way that's what this is like this is Monumental this is huge this is big it's crazy dud this is a huge Victory to them if we have any B of wines following us congratulations drink up celebrate because you just beat Brazil but this has been a trend that has been going on for the past two years I would say where teams that don't usually beat or compete with Brazil do so Costa Rica did this just a few months ago they didn't win but they competed against Brazil you can go through all of South America now at this point and you can find a match with Brazil underwhelmed and the opposing team actually got points from them in a surprising setting it's because this Brazilian team has to be officially the worst team that we ever seen in our history regarding Brazil I'm I'm so disappointed in this Brazil side for as happy as I am for pagua and for all the teams that have gotten points from Brazil lately and as happy as for Gomez specifically because seriously what a banger to do in your home like that that's dream that that that's fantasy type stuff but I am just as equally disgusted by Brazil's performances since the 2022 FIFA World Cup this is pathetic at this point like I I I I've been willing to give them some sort of leeway as far as like okay well they got disappointed disheartened because of the the world C like I'll give them time yeah exactly yeah yeah I I will give them time to grieve to kind of reset themselves as a nation as teammates but now that we're this far into the World Cup qualification and they still look just as bad as they did immediately after the World Cup I'm like okay well this isn't this isn't grieving at this point this is their identity right now like this isn't a temporary stage for them and it is a really poor one and I'm really upset by it too because their talent level is just too high to be playing this bad you can't perform this poorly when you have this amount of talent not just in Brazil but all across Europe and then and then you add in the idea that you have Venus Jr on your side starting every single game and he can do nothing about it so for me I'm just very disappointed all around with Brazil they're playing the worst football I've ever seen a Brazilian national team ever play and I know they receive a lot of criticism just in general but dude they they got to fix something or like I'm not saying they're not going to they're going to miss a World Cup but this is just pathetic you if you consider yourself to be a historic nation in the world of football you cannot be playing this poorly dude I think if if you're neyar fan I think there's a genuine argument to be had that Neymar himself has kept this nation from embarrassing ing themselves for the past 10 years dude because if you focus in on the results that they've had when he isn't on the pitch it is terrible bro that 7-1 loss to Germany happened the one game in the World Cup in 2014 that he didn't play this whole Goa medicia cycle that we saw happened when he didn't play and honestly you could maybe even link the the poor performances from Brazil to Neymar's injury where he's been out for more than over a year now yeah you could at this point you can the the way he was trying to carry through that Croatian match and ultimately fell short in the penalty shootout but it was Neymar who scored the goal to give him the lead an extra time I think there's an argument that Neymar has such an incredible Talent skill set is such a great player that maybe he himself has been the one stepping up and carrying this nation on his back to the point where he's kept them from embarrassing themselves because I look at Vinnie bro he might be the worst International player relative to how he performs at Club level I can't think of another player who performs this poorly with national team but then can also be lifting potentially the balandor at the club level bro that is ridiculous to me and when I see Vinnie play he needs to be performing better bro it's Vinnie Jr bro he by himself is so individualistic he can carry and change a game by his own valtion and he's just not doing that with the national team either so I don't want to be too hard on Vinnie but I think you can kind of apply that to everybody else on this team bro they don't perform up to the level that they do with their clubs when it comes time to put on that national team kit so I just can't believe because you get this terrible terrible product led by Dorito Jr I have the same exact two takes one I will never criticize Neymar looking at this Brazilian team now I will never criticize him he literally was born into the biggest footballing country in the world and said you know what I will be your savior and I will win you games and I will take you to the Pinnacle of world football and he did do that so now I don't care what he's done with his Club career what he's done with Brazil the fact that he put Brazil back on the map alone I will never criticize him for the rest of my life and then secondly the idea that venicius cannot perform up to the same level and you already said it too I want to reiterate it everybody yeah every Brazilian national team player is not performing up to par and that's my biggest thing now is that it's pathetic like what what's going on here and and that's why I like Neymar that's why I love him 20 times more now is because when he put on the Brazilian national team shirt he [ __ ] cared he cared he knew he had all the weight of the entire nation on his shoulders he was like I got you guys cuz I I love you too and they loved him in return and then you look at Venus and I I obviously this is just what we see I don't know if this is actually what's happening but there's a bit of disrespect when these Brazilian players play in South America cuz they're not playing like Brazilians they're not playing like with with with the amount of respect that a Brazilian national team give everything you're down one nil against badag okay well then make it two or 3 n or you go and get goals yourself like do something about it you have offensive Talent so I just think it's disrespectful that Brazil are allowing themselves to lose and not gain points in the way that they've been for the last basically 2 years now and so that's why I'm really really personally upset because there's just too much talent it seems like they don't care so what's going on you look at a situation like Mexico at a certain point you got to stop criticizing because the talent just isn't there right with Brazil the talent is there so I I'm going to criticize it until they start winning to the front line all three players that started play at Real Madrid oh my God Ando and Venus Jr come on man yeah come on man you know what's annoying though they might get away with it absolutely South America anybody can get away with South America I wish there was real punishment such as embarrassment for not qualifying to the World Cup as Brazil dude yeah but regardless they're still in fifth place they got a dub against Ecuador last game so you finish in seventh I know man you realize that only three teams get punished only three that's ridiculous bro the one year where they expand the qualifying like and that's when Brazil decides to play like this because I wish that they could feel actual pressure dude we might not get that until the final match they if they are still in this place but the way it's going I could see them doing just enough to get in in that fifth or sixth position where they qualify automatically with no drama and that's the frustrating part because a team that plays at this level with the talent that they have deserves to feel some sort of pressure some sort of wait and ultimately some sort of disappointment if they don't come through so that frustrates me man that frustrates me and they end up losing to B white here for the first time in 16 years but there's still two places above them yeah and for paguay just to finish on a high note here so it's not too depressing dude um they've turned it around really quickly and I I really want to you think they turned it around I do think so because these two performances I also watch the the ud game um they actually look completely different uh it's the same coach it's the same players right Adam P also by the way P kuaba Naka that's on me I apologize um they've played with so much more aggression in these last two matches and if they can just repeat not not the clinical right not that if they can just repeat the aggression that they've brought to these last two games B is going to be really tough to beat and the way and ciso has been playing for Bay weal we we talk about players stepping up to the National stage for Brazil not doing that and CA is the exact opposite he was the only good player for bag the kopa and it was clear how good he was was he has maintained that I think he's gone to every paraguai teammate he's been like please show it for me because I'm showing up and the thing is they finally have and ciso is cooking with this Paraguay inside he's getting the ball in the middle of the pitch he's getting out wide he's dribble penetrating he's feeding he's doing everything but he's like he's actually being effective with his play and ciso is a must watch if you're watching solely South American World Cup qualifying football no yeah by the way I mean definitely they're playing better than what they were at the Goa Med I want to hold off on them being past the rebuilding process I I I don't think they're there yet man if they play like this they are I think if they play out this one more window then I'll be on board but I think they got convenient scheduling here against a Brazilian team that is the worst one we've ever seen continuing their terrible Trend and an Udan team who we'll talk about who I think is kind of Shell Shocked from what happened at the Copa Medica and disappointed in two straight matches in this International window as well not being able to score a single goal especially against Venezuela who just got molly whopped by by the way so that's why I'm going to hold off let me see how PA does and their next International window if they perform at the same level I'm on board because I do like players like Julio and ciso I do like this squad and after the way that I saw their fans support them today I like the support they have behind them they can make a run at the World Cup and they can get in that seventh or sixth spot potentially I just need to see a little bit more consistency as all from here on out agreed let's move on over to another Bolivia vs. Chile match up that happened today with Bolivia defeating Chile 2-1 not not at home not at home dude that's the biggest part of this not at home Chile allowing this Victory to happen in their home soil after Bolivia just got a 4-nil victory I believe against Venezuela as well Bolivia one of the one of the teams with the best International window in all of world football this past week dude incredible two super important victories that keep them now in the race for World Cup qualification I just can't believe it uh apparently they picked a stadium that was even more higher altitude than their usual one that they played at and it worked in that first game against Venezuela it worked four four goals and I looked at the highlights unfortunately I couldn't catch the game but dude they looked like Prime Barcelona at times I'm not even kidding go watch the highlights and they were playing OneTouch football passing the ball through 40 yards of space and then finishing brilliantly like it was beautiful football Venezuela looked shook the way that Bolivia were playing it was amazing to see and like seriously consider the idea Bolivia yeah Bolivia who were horrible horrible at the Copa Meda scored four four goals in one game two I could maybe believe three I'm like okay you're you're tripping four you're you're on crack you're smoking crack bro but they actually did it they scored four goals against Venezuela and then they go on the road against well albeit a lowly Chile side but they still still get the win and the goal that they conceded was actually just a goalkeeping error oh that goal was the the shacking a foo goal of the of the international break what was that goal I've never seen anything like that goalkeeper stumbles pretends he's injured and leaves the ball out right in front of him and Chile's offensive player I don't remember who it was just carries the ball into the back of the net easiest goal I've ever seen a complete mistake from the goalkeeper and there you have it Chila gets a goal on the board but they still end up losing Bolivia with six goals is insane over two matches bro this team lost to USA like terribly they lost to uai terribly bro they couldn't pass more than three passes together they couldn't chain them together in the kopai med and that's why I still don't want Bolivia to qualify for a World Cup no disrespect because I don't think they can play outside of South America bro I I don't think they can I think it's a cultural thing like they're down to do it for their type of people you you you get you get outside of that they're like nah we're we're good we don't want to be here American soil they disinterested man they're disinterested because it is night and day the level of play that Bolivia have shown at the Copa Meda not not just this last one but at the last four Copa medas versus how they've played in this window and honestly even in the last cycle Bolivia were still had a chance going the last like let's say four rounds so Bolivia love playing in South America that's all I can say but when it comes down to a tournament style Bolivia just have no idea what to do maybe that's why we see poor Goan Medici poor Will C maybe that's it that's why but look I'm I'm going to be a little more hopeful on them a little more optimistic because I am impressed with what just happened and I'm more disappointed in a team like Chile cuz this team they the Chileans and the South Americans try to sell me on Chile going into the Copa Meda and I bought that [ __ ] man I bought that [ __ ] I thought they had more impressive players on paper guys between like 22 24 25 years old that were playing well either in Europe or domestically I just thought you know what G guiding these guys I'm on board maybe they're not doing great in qualification but you know what for a knockout tournament setting they're going to do great and I would consider the Copa Meda a little bit of a disappointment overall at the end of the day with what I thought would happen man I really would and then now you follow it up with a 3-nil loss to arena in their first game and then a one to2 lost to Bolivia at home I'm out on Chila dude I'm out and especially now that they're in ninth place in qualification with Five Points fourpoint Gap now between them and the next team in eighth place this is trouble for chile because now they're going to need to get results from here on out they're in the danger zone and I want no pardon it yeah no no I'm I'm completely with you I've criticized Mexico for their drop off from their golden generation I think officially Chile's is now worse it's a worst drop off from their golden generation because well first off Chile have missed a couple of World Cups right mhm and the way that they're playing right now even though the World Cup is expanded they are going to miss another world cup a lot and that's bad that's really bad when you get six automatic spots and a seventh playoff spot and Chile won't even be in that spot and I think that that's really indicative of how poor Chile really are so yeah I just want to make it very clear here right now uh this is terrible for chile and I I really want to point that out because I looking at these last couple games and watching the game today against Bolivia they really only have 11 players and if any one of those 11 players is out of form they have zero backup they can't change anything of course there's substitutes but there's a massive drop off in quality and so similar to how you know we kind of criticize ligax as a corporation and how they failed to really build the next generation of Mexican footballers I asked the question now to any Chileans out there cuz I'm genuinely curious what the [ __ ] is going on in Chile this is terrible the footballers that they've produced over the last let's say tight five six years is simply not cutting it and the drop off between the players that they had 10 to 15 years ago it it's just not even close man it's not even close it's not even close the next next generation of Chilean footballers are bang average and Loki below average and I just think that's very surprising considering Chile's pedigree and considering the high level players that they once produced so I'm just very surprised by this at the end of the day cuz I I was with you there was a moment where I was like you know Chile could probably figure this out but the way that they started off this qualifying campaign I think it's it's it's going to be very difficult to figure out yeah if geka can't save them I don't think anyone will yeah I think they're beyond saving at this point Chile in ninth place with Five Points Bolivia now with nine points I believe in eighth place massive massive window for them another team that had a really Colombia vs. Argentina big window was a team that continued the success that they had at the Copa America in Colombia who go on to defeat Argentina in a Copa America final rematch at home by the way in an insanely crazy designed Stadium where they had players jerseys up in the stands defeats Argentina 2 to one with Aames Rodriguez goal and assist and game-winning penalty and they take down the Copa Med winners as they gain more points in the buildup to securing their world cut qualification spot yeah this is just rent repeat for Colombia you know they were able to remain undefeated and qualifying as they got a last second draw in their last game and then they beat Argentina cop America champions in this game in Colombia is fantastic and when niik Gonzalez got that equalizing goal off of honestly a pretty bad back pass from mames Rodriguez I thought Argentina were going to take over and actually completely turn the tables and get a victory in Colombia cuz for the next 10 15 minutes artino were creating a lot of space they were creating a lot of danger but then Colombia's nerve showed up once again and they're able to get a really good moment where a penalty is drawn James Rodriguez steps up and he finishes it beautifully and I think it was just really telling of how real this Columbia site is you know obviously going to the Copa Meda final was massive massive massive but for them to just keep it going I I I think that's what impresses me the most it's so easy to take this next window off from the summer off but they didn't yeah they they kept it up and I'm really really impressed with Colombia they are a team that you just can't absolutely cannot mess with no you can't they're now in second place and they're undefeated eight games undefeated and G qualification with 16 points arena with 18 but conceding two losses Arena I believe went to urai now to Colombia and starting to in a way adjust to the idea of playing with no diaria and no Messi obviously deia retired from International Duty thank you for your services an incredible player but Messi will continue playing for the national team he's just injured right now so he's taking a break but it's interesting to see I think they try to answer that question of how will they deal without these two star players in their future what we saw in that first game of the international window I think was a great sign defeating Chile 3-0 and jul Al stepping up and scoring a banger I thought was just a great sign of Adam Dina still got it they're a great team and against most teams they can definitely handle themselves but I wonder how the presence how the absence of a guy like Leonel Messi even at 38 years of age in this game what kind of impact that has on even just the mental factor of Colombia and going up against a team as strong as the the world champions in in Argentina do you still see Argentina as Invincible though with if Messi's fully healthy and on the pitch even at his old age though I'm G to say yes I agree yeah I think so I think obviously we know that he doesn't have the same athleticism but what we've saw the Goa Meda just a couple months ago I think if Messi is on the pitch yes it's a m massive difference and it's one that can get Argentina all the way to Another World Cup final and so that's why I think some of these games are going to be weird to analyze for Argentina because obviously the replacement is Nico Gonzalez just not the same type of player even even at Messi's older age the passes that he can pick out and the Rhythm that he can play the game is unlike any other player even now so I just think that artina yes this is a Lo and they did get the loss against urai but I I think honestly they're going to be fine and I think they provve that at the go by Medica cuz they did not play up the par of themselves and they still won the whole thing so I think Voda this is just going to be another qualifying campaign that they just deal with but uh yeah nothing new I still think they're in an elite team for sure it sounds like a dumb argument I know but I I really think like the aura factor of Messi is so strong dude like in the build up to a final like colia who hadn't been to a final in the cop for so long chasing their first C like 20 plus years I think just hearing you know Messi's going to be on the pitch Messi's going to be there Messi Messi Messi World Cup champion Messi all these things and just seeing him across the pitch even though he was Ultimate like 30 40% they didn't even play that well and same with the Argentine national team they didn't even played that well in my opinion they were like at 80% of full potential in that tournament I I I feel like these things get in players heads and it matters because of Messi's Aura I really do the history the the the the the power that the name has I think is just super impactful in how a team prepares to face off against Argentina especially in a competitive knockout big stage setting and then you add in the fact that it's Messi that the technique is still there that the IQ is still there that he could at any moment pull something incredible out of nowhere and win a game I think that's always going to be with him until he's an old man like you might be playing bingo with him at 70 and he might just out of nowhere start juggling so I I really think that's why I'm not worried about Hina losing a game like this um but it will happen because Messi will be absent in more games I believe going into the future until it's time to actually show up we got Ecuador defeating Peru at home 1 n to maintain Ecuador vs. Peru fourth place in the rankings right now in Peru my poor beautiful Peru in last place as they continue to struggle in the K World Cup qualifiers yeah I wasn't able to catch this game I actually did see Peru play against Colombia and they almost won that match but I think Peru have a clear ceiling and it is just that they can scrap up to their opponent's level so Colombia weren't fully up for it in Lima and Peru took advantage of that because you know they can put a body on their opponent they can Sprint just as fast they can be just as aggressive and if they get maybe a little Lucky in the Box they can also get a goal and that's what happened against Colombia but it was still a bit of class from Luis Diaz that got Colombia back into the match and the the game ended 1-1 so even that was a really good game for B but that's as good as I think it can get so you play against a team like Ecuador Peru can only match up to their opponent scrap wise and I think that's exactly what happened here Ecuador caught themselves in a really difficult feisty match against Peru and they get a really nice goal off of a diagonal ball finds Anna Valencia to crash it in and they they do end up winning but for Peru I think this is just this is going to be the reality for a while man I I just think that they can fight they can play up to their opponent but to win I just don't see Peru having any sort of luck any sort of momentum that they could really use and I I definitely see Peru alongside Chile as one of the worst teams in the region Grim it's Grim it's just yeah they just can't they have nothing to really go off of I really just I'm just going to focus on Ecuador if I'm being honest when I when I think about the level that they're at what we suffering that the Goa Medica I think fourth place is like the perfect spot for them in terms of how i rate them in G fourth best team unless Brazil wakes up cuz they're Point behind them if they wake up and they just get a win streak going I can see them over taking Ecuador but I think fourth place is right where I see Ecuador finishing this tournament off because they're not better than Argentina they're not better than Colombia they're not better than uru they lost to Brazil but that's a back and forth type team they're definitely better than Venezuela definitely better than parai Bolivia Chile Peru I think that's the spot for them so we're going to see them defeat teams lower teams like Peru and then maybe play a tighter match against Argentina Colombia and those teams but I think this is where they're going to be destined to finish and so I think just another expected window here for Ecuador as they currently maintain that fourth place spot for themselves and then the last match we had today was between Venezuela and uru Venezuela looking to bounce back Uruguay vs. Venezuela after the surprising trashing that happened in Bolivia and urai with weird Vibes as they get another nil nil draw in Venezuela after drawing nil nil to parw as well this to me just feels like a really weird almost limo likee setting that udai has put themselves in to just start off this new campaign I'm not concerned but this is weird bro this is weird to see from udai so far it's really strange and I actually agree in the sense that I think the way they ended the Copa America has shocked a lot of these players obviously they're missing a couple because of how it ended right with the fight in the stands a couple of bands were given to some players um but just in general the way that they've played these last two matches uh the the the energy that they had going into the Copa Medica is just not there and what's even crazier is that you could see beela just as confused on the sing cuz he was the most angry I've ever seen him he was on both games in the second half he was just screaming at his players because I think he even noticed they just weren't doing what he what he had asked them to do and I do think that is very telling because Uruguay's whole stick going to the cup Meda is that they're a system team they had that they had a very specific strategy to approach every game and if they're not sticking to that strategy and I think Things Fall Apart and they should have lost this game against Venezuela today Venezuela had so many opportunities in that second half the amount of headers that went just a yard wide of the post was ridiculous they just couldn't finish that's it if Venezuela were just a little bit more clinical on the day they would have scored at least two goals and would have won this game so Uruguay should count themselves themselves very lucky that they didn't lose and Venezuela just finish just got to finish those chances and they should have earned three points 20 shots bro yeah Vena had 20 shots so eight yeah they should have won they should have won but it it it is kind of shocking how much Uruguay have dropped it's it's very strange I do think they can pick it back up right you know once you get all the players that were banned back into the lineup back into playing Bea system I think that's huge so I'm not going to go into the dire situations that have gone with Brazil for example right but I just do think it's very very weird that Uruguay look very different than they did literally just a couple months ago yeah they they're missing they're missing the best player in their Midfield the best player in their offense right right I I I can see why they're missing that killer threat but still I would think that with the players that they have cuz they class I I would think that they'd be able to handle themselves and at least be able to get one goal and two matches given how how much goal and chance creation they had at the Copa Meda so that's really surprising and for Venezuela I mean what a bipolar International window oh dude cuz they basically outplayed Udu in this game unlucky to get a goal but those that Bolivia game then man it's the altitude I literally have to chalk it up to that like I didn't believe in it but after you lose 4 nil I I think I fully believe in it we need to go we need to go we we need to run like we need to run six miles here in Texas and then we need to run six miles in Bolivia in the same temperature and see how much harder it is cuz I need to know now yeah I need to know we we just need to record a two-hour podcast here 2our podcast up there and see like when we run out of like lie headed as hell over there I felt that then I would I would legit sympathize with these players and I would give Bolivia credit for what they have dude cuz that that's a fortress then yeah and I understand they they W to go by med by hosit there at one point in the 60s believe like it is crazy I just didn't think it would come into play against Venezuela who before this International break was playing great football especially at the Goa Amer man yeah and I think Venezuela minus the inexperience are on the same part as Ecuador especially after the Copa Meda appearance a couple months ago I think they have the same type of offensive threat as Ecuador and to me Ecuador actually kind of disappointed me in the Copa Medica so I think Venezuela could find themselves close close to that fourth place finish qualify for their first World Cup I think this could be huge but I think a big factor for Venezuela for the rest of the campaign is can they be consistent and I do understand it's very hard in South America considering the very drastically different road conditions this is how they look they're in sixth place right now with 10 points they're right in contention for that fourth place spot and let's just look at the table overall arena in first with 18 points Colombia in second with 16 urai in third with 15 Ecuador in fourth with 11 Brazil in fifth with 10 Venezuela in sixth with 10 BW in seventh with nine points Bolivia in eighth with nine points then there's a gap Chile in ninth with five points and Peru in 10th with three points damn sheesh man yeah sheesh G boy World
