here we go well good afternoon so nice enough to be outside again today fall is coming today's quote is from Chef Bourdain skills can be taught character you either have or you don't have Anthony Bordain very Brash and honest uh man most most of us have have seen or heard of him through his TV series No Reservations uh which explored similar themes to an earlier show called a Cooks tour um No Reservations ran for almost nine years before being discontinued then in 2013 he again returned to TV with Anthony Bain's Parts Unknown the show examines specific dining rituals across the globe and won four emys his non-nonsense attitude and Frank comments gained him notoriety and fame in addition to his TV shows he authored several authored several books one being don't eat before reading this it was a scathing honest look at the inner workings of restaurants Kitchen Confidential adventures in The Culinary underbelly and a Cooks tour Global adventures and extreme Cuisines an account of exotic food and his travel exploits around the world why that came from his TV show Parts I know he also wrote a couple cookbooks as a chef imagine that Anthony Bourdain Les Hollis cookbook strategies recipes and techniques of classic beastro cookie and in 2006 the book called Nasty bits as well as his own TV shows author he appeared in some other TV series one being Miami Inc and on the TV children's TV show Yo Gaba Gaba was Dr Tony he also was in a brief cameo in 2008 on the movie Far Cry he was born in New York City in 1956 he was raised in the suburbs of New Jersey he developed a Devotion to literature and rock music but he also had a very self-destructive drug use during his youth he eventually attended Vasser and then graduated from The world-renowned Culinary Institute of America in 1978 he established his culinary career when he became the executive Thief chef at brazer L Hol unfortunately his life was cut short I have a quote here from U CNN statement um confirms the death of our friend and colleague Anthony Bourdain CNN quoted his love of Great Adventure New Friends fine food and drink and the remarkable stories of the world made him a unique story teller his talents never cease to amaze us and we will miss him very much our thoughts and prayers are with his daughter and family at this incredible difficult time end quote Anthony Bain developed his skills over many years as a chef his attitude and character what earned him Fame and fortun he wanted you to see what was on the other side of the curtain and brought this out during as many TV shows and books and the quote skills can be taught character you either have or you don't have Anthony Bourdain as always love you hugs and kisses
