welcome to the dlls Cowboys podcast on whatever today's date is good news on a big injury front Jake Ferguson Jerry's talking monies and expectations and it's a tote that thing Tuesday welcome to DS is value no value to it got to cut it because with the tomato soup it just you can then easily start with that corner and it's way easier to dip throughout your process it's way easier Jo damn Jo Joe's in the chat I doubt cut the crust off that's really Joe I don't cut the crust off I bet it's an impersonator uh Jake Ferguson tweeted yesterday Cowboys tight end God is good with the hands and I you tell me if this is blasphemy um what' you say well I'm just I didn't say anything I'm about to though because like he could have sent that tweet just because he was feeling good that day or being grateful or feeling the spirit but my immediate assumption when I saw Jake Ferguson tweet God as good is that his knee was okay no that's that's what it was about that's what it was about no question about because everybody was holding their Collective breath yeah including Jake Ferguson cowbo organization Cowboy fan Nation holding that Collective breath on when he suffered an injury and even that night on D told us it looks good it sounds good looks like he got good news but until those tests come back you don't know and and so God is good because he looks like he's gonna be okay the Cowboys you saying if he was hurt God wouldn't be good just like if you don't win God ain't good you only you thank God when you with Super Bowls or something like that I hear you I feel you I'm just wondering but when you do get good news you make a point to thank godish supp to thank you anyway celebrate him anyway let's finish the quote God is good all the time all God is good so whether he was injured or not God is good still good but I just knew as soon as he tweeted that I was like look this is maybe blasphemy but I just assume he's talking about his knee and he's good especially when you have good news is he's really good yeah you know deck praise God CD praise God when you get paid you praise God you going to praise God for not having a serious injury and that's what it looks like uh indications uh it's a bone bruise somebody said mcl's sprain Jerry Jones said on the flagship station today that there's a chance he could play this weekend against the Saints know it's been it's considered week to week and Mike McCarthy said that he will be with the rehab group on Wednesday when they start practice but talking to Jake you know this court Jerry that that he's optimistic about getting on the field and playing can we stay right weend can we stay right there just for a second yes and you've heard the term before sometimes trainers and coaches and front office people sometimes have to save players from themselves yes that's why I hated that quote from Jerry by the way I Jerry puts pressure on his players if he's ready to play he'll play is it early enough in the year where you go you know what Jake how about like because I get it as a former player all you want to do is get to Sunday and you'll you'll move you'll move mountains and you'll take whatever shoot me up Jim list I'll take but hold on I'll take whatever it is that needs to be taken to get to Sunday but are we at a point right now that you say you know what just take this week off listen let's let's be honest about this and I hear you with you're former player yes brck Brown's an asshole like can we say that uh I mean we did so it doesn't matter anymore I trust Brit Brown Brit Brown's not putting somebody out there you know I from my history with the Cowboys they you see they they were very cautious with overan and training camp they were very cautious with Diggs and training camp they're not putting you out there because they know it's a long season I trust Britt Brown and there difference between hurt and injured yes and there things you can play on like this going back to the college game the LSU running back who played in the first season over in TS ACL he should not have been out there okay he suffered ACL in November and he's played a season opener that would not have happened with Brett Brown no I agree okay he suffered another ACL inj he's out for the season Embry Bim whatever LSU running back and he played against us and towards ACL in practice because you're favor you're overcompensating for something he was not ready to be out there that fast doing that I don't think the Cowboys would do that's my history with Brit Brown he done a great job getting these guys back from so is that a little bit posturing from Jerry and saying he could be out there maybe what I'm saying is if what I'm saying is I'm not saying he's not g to play I'm just saying that they're not going to put him out there unless he's good to go unless he's they're not going to put him out there for him to get injured again alling like what's the percentage because if it's a bone bruise like there is no cure for that right the only cure for a bone bruise is just rest yeah and we'll see how you know some people are fast if there such thing like that and we'll see how the week goes but the good news is whether he plays this week or not it's not a season ending it's not a four-week thing you know they is they they dodged a big bullet that's what they all are talking about they dodged a bullet here yeah that's one they couldn't afford because uh I'm not ready for a season of luk scho maker scoon or uh or Brevin span Ford did did this going play much he play I can get a snap count I mean I know he was out there you know like he played some for I think I think he and spam both played nine plays a piece right it's not a lot R schoon well we can't we they w a two tight end sets a lot and they wor three receiver sets I mean f got hurt once fer got hurt they would play they would they ran a decent amount of two tight end but to your point that we'll talk about throughout the show the second half of this game was really wonky because I feel like the Cowboys felt like they had it and that's a weird place to be and in a lot of ways they didn't play well in that situation but I did notice like there's actually a lot of lipy sometimes instead of tight MC talked about that lipy can do some of those tight end things but that tells like if you're going to use lipkey over your second round pick oh yeah no the last year's draft was awful okay it was awful like they're a team that is good at drafting and developing last year dra was awful this year's draft like I talked before the season you know I talked to some people one reason why they kept bre man forward is because he's insurance for school you know when they you let pay go because first of all he gets hurt a lot and he's been hurt a lot and he's and Bre SP for is the second best blocker the best probably the best blocker mon tias but the second best block you you need him on that roster okay his insurance throughout these negotiations players Jerry don't get this done players are gonna get mad and and refuse to sign and that as I've said before it's like kids you could be mad all the way up to Christmas but when you open that to Christmas day you're gonna be smiling and that's basically what you're saying you know because I got kids they get mad about things and then you don't get them what they want they want this and they all got the lip puffed out then Christmas morning come that bikes under the tree and everybody's having a Merry Christmas and Mer When Christmas Comes as I said before if it's in December August or September we happy and that's what Jerry's saying nobody's gonna be mad about the money Dion had a favorite U Back In 95 I don't know you weren you probably was mad about the money you know nobody's mad about the money okay and nobody's gonna be mad about the money when the money comes because ultimately they want to be here it's a negotiation we've said all along this is it this is business for Jerry it's you know it's personal for the players it's business for Jerry but players get over hurt feelings when the money comes they made and they didn't really have to take less it's nothing especially if you're a great C player because they're wait too long the players never get it rammed up them okay they're doing the ramming okay some that's your knowledge maybe they they did the ram you know the funny thing about it is Dak at the press conference uh Sunday night after the game he said we met in the middle like you met in the middle no they you got 60 what you ask for if 60 is the middle and and he's right to a certain extent just under understand this if Jerry got if Dak got 60 million with 231 guaranteed without the benefit of a bidding war what do you think he would have got in open market 65 just think about that3 you getting this now without the benefit of Oakland and a bidding war an open bidding process what could he have got now you know who I think vas right you know who I think loves it that that got that amount and that he had all that leverage to get that amount it's coming like Kansas City knows it's coming Pat Mahomes signed a stupid contract 10 years 450 he's circling back and that will change I honestly I honestly believe there is no conversation in Kansas City right but he's just gonna say Hey you know it's changed a little bit the landscape make mine 65 it literally should be hey guys um especially if you go three Pat after this year yeah it's it's hey Patrick what do you want like it should be it should literally be what do you want been that though and and I think it was I think it was and that's why like even his deal was a remarkable deal but it gave him it still gave them enough room to do some other things while he still got paid a significant amount that's why people love the longterm the long contracts and that's what hurts the Cowboys with the Dak one is that you don't have extra years right that's why you sign a first round pick quarterback if you can after his third year because now I've got two plus five and I can play games and you don't get to play as many uh games with the Dak one and that's very unfortunate there's one good question in the chat about this you said there's one good question in the chat well there's a good question in the chat kti is taking shots and no I'm not but what's a good question is that it oh have to get Hella paid and what will that do to that team's cap the thing is the cap goes up with these Sal the percentage that a quarterback is getting has gone up a little bit but not a bunch it's it's not it doesn't matter if you have a great quarterback you pay him what it takes and you go play football and understand this D got all that money and lowered his cap figure that's why you got to understand cap figure cap amount and what they get paid is not the same thing right that lower is Cap figure for this year by making more money than he was scheduled to make let me ask you guys this question do you think at any point in time let's just say in the next five years or between now and when the new CBA deal is up I know that they'll be they'll be negotiating a bunch of different things but what is there a future in the National Football League where you go okay guys because quarterback money is getting so large we're gonna take the quarterback money out of the cap and now just have the rest of the roster and then quarterback money gets put in his own little sphere and you deal with that over there so that because I mean I've heard the idea but I can't in five to 10 years we're probably gonna get close to the quarterback number being around 8085 90 million yeah and and this is not basketball it's not 15 guys on a roster I got I got I got another question picky back in for a second who's the first 100 Mil million dollar player a year it me football basketball or baseball oh basketball but they're getting close to basketball money 60 million get close to basketball money because in basketball if you make all NBA and all that like get 100 a year when we get a first 100 million year player seven or eight years Wy will be the first1 million player and the quarterback will be 80 by then or this bubble will the pro sports bubble will burst but I don't know when okay so CD and daak stuff we're going to do a little bit more of that in terms of congrats you have all of the monies what to you constitutes sweet those contracts were absolutely worth it what do they need to do or what does the team need to Dak understands it he needs to uphold his end of the bargain by Leading the Cowboys to a Super Bowl and getting to the Super Bowl J uh jayen Herz is not gonna be good enough in Dallas you got to win one which is why ultimately he's probably going to fail like winning Super Bowls is hard very it's really really hard and most of them get hoarded by at least recently whoever the very very very best is like Mahomes has a good team and is the best so he just wins them all so your your goal is in a four your window can you sneak one of them out yeah and I I've I'm I've always long been Super Bowl a bus for any team right that's just that that's just the nature of the beast but if if that gave me the San Francisco run couple of NFC championships a Super Bowl appearance but he never wins one I can look back and go you know what that the money was justified because it is very hard to win a Super Bowl and and I I want to be very clear I get it Super Bowl is and I'm I'm the Super Bowl guy but if we're talking about making the the ROI the return on investment if if Super Bowl is not attained if you give me a run over the next four years where you're deep playoff run NFC championship Super Bowl appearance NFC Championship I will be able to sit back oh what are you doing I would be able to sit back and go you know what he's gotten us to a place that we have not been in close to 30 years was it getting us to the Mountaintop no and I get it I'm I'm I I don't want to sound like a hypocrite but if you can give me the San Francisco run because we haven't had that in such a long time I think I think that you can justify that I I would say this the standard is different here you know and you know he said that we don't have a standard here not like the standard standard for quarterbacks is different here Troy's been 30 years ago exactly that remains stand how long does a standard stay it's it's the same reason why as I've said a long time ago how long AG did Vin young w a w Vin young Remains the standard 05 the standard he's a standard but it's that's not Texas Standard it is a Texas Standard Texas okay I'm sorry when you have a brand that is your standard whether you live up to or not and when you don't live up to it people kick your ass over it turn around on Jesse what's the North Carolina standard I mean seriously if when you don't live up to your Capa Nation Championship when you don't do that people kick your ass over it even though it ain't easy to do every year I don't care how much money you make I don't care how much fan base you have it ain't easy but those are the facts Texas gets killed locally because they're not Texas and TC whoops their butt and so that's the standard body and the Cowboys have a brand but the window like what is the window like you said you said North Carolina right there was a window we just celebrated 20 years anniversary for won an 05 National I mean you won an 05 too you guys won an 05 too uh but but prior to that we hadn't won since 93 you know what I'm saying like there there was we had 820 season in there and then then you had' 05 2009 2017 but then we had an appearance and we should have beat Kanas national champ game so we're still we're still meeting that standard in the last 10 to 15 20 years the Cowboys we're talking about withholding this standard the standard is such a long but the difference here is this first of all you're a blue blood and you're expected to meet that standard you know we don't give we're not giving you credit for meeting that standard you're expected me but but you're blue blood in college basketball you're supposed to be a contender year in and year out whether it works that way or not the Cowboys are considered a blue blood who has not lived up the expectations and now Dak Prescott who's been getting his butt kick for not winning playoff games is the richest player in NFL history he's a $60 million man yes getting there is not good enough okay and it won't be good enough for this fan base whether it's good enough for Jerry whether it's good enough for Jesse two different things think that's two different but that's two different conversations I think it would be that's two different conversations if he got there I think it would be enough for this fan base no it would not be enough for it be maybe enough for Jerry it won't be enough for the fan base definitely not enough for the fan base I think I think the and and it won't be enough for the NFL fan base because again to a Super Bowl and played the Kansas City Chiefs and they lost on the last second field goal and they said you making more than Patrick Mahomes why AR you doing what Patrick Mahomes doing because ain't nobody Patrick Mahomes so why you making more than Patrick Mah he's theot why you getting more than Patrick because you work for the Cowboys because there's a standard no next one up he was the next one up Jeff I think the whole conversation is basically a nothing because like I think that Dak is what he is right top 10 absolutely top eight probably top six maybe and so my expectation is that you do that and you be who we paid that's who you be the results in a postseason is going to be decided by something else like now now don't get me wrong yes my expectation of my really really good quarterback is that you're really really good in playoff games too but it's just like anybody who right now doesn't believe you can win with that like when you never win a Super Bowl they'll think of him exactly as did even if he goes to two or three of them I promise I know the people who don't believe in Dak they're not going to he will literally have to win a Super Bowl and be the best player on the field doing it if the I I think if he wins an Eli Super Bowl if he wins an Eli Super Bowl people will who don't think that he's it will be like well yeah they carried him like you're not changing people on Deck you'll change some if you win the Super Bowl but yeah I think if they go it would be the S fan base would just they would change the narrative on where he chokes he he choked in the Super Bowl because right now it's he chokes in the postseason even though when he played Brady he didn't when he played Rogers he didn't didn't but he's a choke artist because you don't win enough playoff games if they won enough it would just be he's a choke artist because you didn't get to the NFC title game or he's a choke artist because you didn't get to Super Bowl because we're just going to hold the quarterback accountable for everything and I think the whole thing's dumb it's a team sport the whole point is I have one of the better or best quarterbacks I'm going to keep him and my expectation I'm a coward I'm a PE word y'all I don't hold them to a high enough standard kick my ass whatever because what I my expectation is that you individually play and do your job well that's what I paid you to do if you want to win the Super Bowl well then guess what you're going to need more than you it ain't gonna be you but Jerry said because we're paying you this money you got to do with less I'm not going to sign No Big Time free agents I'm going to sign journeyman and I'm sign draft picks I'm not gonna go all in I'm not I'm not gonna have the San Francisco I'm not gonna and I'm not trading for Christian mcaffrey and I and I don't I don't want to exclude 88 damn it you better you better continue this, 1500 yard stuff too like you need to be one of the three best receivers in football that's what I'm paying you for that's for CD lamb and what about 11 well he a get his money yet when oh yeah when he get his but he he's he don't need to get that's the thing we we get so conf money Michael does not need to get his money for him needing to perform now 100% 100% he don't need needed to perform against Green Bay last year player in football you say you're the best playing football def CD goes out this season if CD goes out this season that sack that don't happen it don't happen often he is not faster than Michael Parsons Michael Parson ran a four three something I bet he could turn a sub four4 yeah and dear ran like a four five but what is interesting shout out to my boy Bobby belt for this one they ran the same 10 yard splits 1.9 so that burst that you saw between the start to getting to him he and Michael Parson that's faster than one. now when when they did when they no no no no I'm not saying that play was 1.9 I'm saying that their splits in the 40 yard dash were were 1.9 their 10 yard split and I'm just telling you that there was a typo somewhere because it's probably a 149 or something because I'm a big combine guy I know what fast is in the 10 okay cool cool Beast anyway uh but you have the experience of Eric want that to continue in because we've been deprived of that for the last couple years under Dan Quinn no offense to mares Bell real real linebackers we got real linebacker play out there and that's an exciting thing that I want to see this thing continue on into this week those guys continue to play at a very very high level and the Dirty Little Secret even when LV was out there he wasn't he wasn't playing like that he I'm just saying it did last year even when he was out there he wouldn't do what Eric Kendrick Eric Kendrick do no absolutely not well it's hard when your spine has whittel snaps in a game for the first time didn't hear his name called didn't hear his name called that's a good day for no l Moon you don't hear his name call didn't hear his name call and that's what you want to keep going you don't want to have to talk about Cooper BBE and we didn't have to talk about Cooper BB during the game after the game we talked about him because why he gave up no pressures yeah he had no fumbles he had no issues that's what you want that's what you want that's a great job Cooper BB in his first time out that's that's what you liked about when the Cowboys drafted him I always thought that he was a steal of the draft third round pick monster guard considered the best offensive L college football at guard moving into Center to be the biggest nastiest Center the cows have had since Andre Gerard certainly Travis f was the best but nobody was nastier than Andre Gerard and Cooper PB likes to dirt people and he doesn't mess things up so you don't want a guy he's going to do the dirty work but he's going to snap it and get the calls right uh my other guy another rookie seat belt seat belt it from here seat belt why does it like that nobody uses two hands for a seat belt why would you use two hands for a seat that's what but that's what they do is that maybe it's but it should just be one but is that a weird looking motion that is a weird looking Mo I just make going to be the same again with the Saints but one week out keep on doing your thing Kaylin car are holding down a fort until we get BL back and and as you said Al told you I got one he told me the same thing I got one I got one you know it's funny because over the last couple years the the Cowboys have had a DB that people thought they could pick on yes it was Trayvon Diggs first and then he slow they started fast and then gave Mike Zimmer and the defense the opportunity of hey what if we don't give you much else can you guys just take us home start fast starting fast is lovely make the other team have to fight and scratch and Claw and let Micah Parsons early in the game be like oh really it's time to go yeah I just get to go for that quarterback start fast I want them to carry that over and Dak wasn't bad be before the after the punt returned I think he was like 120 quarterback R and he was 16 or 20 or whatever else he ended up with a qbr under 40 so like he wasn't good on the day he was really good in the first half done that qbr thing but I don't do passer rating because it's a bum stat uh it was like a mck game in the second half I mean 27 to3 the urgency is not there they they didn't hit on a couple of Slants on third down they talked about you know not converting third Downs in the in the third quarter and the fourth quarter but but everybody was going through the motions at that point it was like it like practice but but see those are things those are habits that I don't want to create no no you don't want to create but the game is over and but then then let's work on some things right and the Cowboys historically have had some issues on third Downs right so like if that's the case let's not start having those issues again let's not let's not even start practicing those things in these live games if you're going to be out there because I mean that doesn't maybe it doesn't happen in that game but I just never want the mentality of we can take our foot off The Brak I don't I don't like that mentality I don't like that makeup I don't I don't want that to be anything that's floating around in the ecosystem that we can pick up and one thing that we we continue to overlook I know you need get your second point one thing I want we continue to overlook Cleveland had the number one won defense it was so easy we forget that Cleveland's damn good on defense Cleveland was doing some things that that caused them problem they were doing some things differ in the second half they did in the first half but let's not Overlook the fact that Cleveland's bad on offense they're damn good on defense you know and the Cowboys had their weight early on and I think they made some adjustments they were certainly tighter on the receivers those Slants weren't open the CD in on those third down play they got good players too yeah no no no it's a good defense and we got we got one got one over there you can't do it until you catch the rock better catch it that thing I just got to shout out the rookies I know we've talked about it but like all the rookies look good and then Cooper BB doing that and on the road for his first game yeah it was pretty pretty awesome to see so carry that good energy over all rookies give me the ball back I wasn't done toing okay oh you got one more run defense like I think the linebacker group is good is going to be good and I already feel really really good about that the defensive tackle group I don't know that I'm convinced yet but for one week they were able to stand up do their job let people make plays and you're doing it with a guy that was really disappointing last year in Mazy Osa was great and Osa is a really good player but you know couple of guys off the couch and you got the job done keep up that run defense go give the Saints the business keep getting in the way I mean you you didn't again they're like the the nose tackles you don't want to have to call their names y'all muck up some stuff what you saw which I credit run defense a couple plays when you saw overan you saw Kendrick in the back field sniping through yeah to make play you know why they were able to do that because those guys were mucking it up for offensive line they couldn't get to him yeah so that's what they did be 300 lbs hold that guy for three seconds get $300 million was one play on the right side where Kendrick had a tackle for a loss and they you saw him mugging up you saw also saw over you saw take on take on a tackle and stone him and and it left a gap right there for Kendrick the knife through that's what you want over's gonna be a stud he's so good that's what you want who's that one three is that one three that's 1 three baby 1 three he should be zero take the zero off Rowdy and give it to Agent Zero he was Agent Zero in college give it to Agent Zero SM doesn't have zero huh he doesn't have zero because of rowdy I'm I'm assuming that's the only reason you guys ever team the last few years which I think is just why everybody got so sad about the uh results in Green Bay or so psed about the results in Green Bay because it was like God you keep winning 12 this team looked different you're the home team you're supposed to win this game and they didn't but one thing that's been true over the last half decade is offense has been better than the defense yes defense has been good plenty of times you've had a top five defense a couple times they've been good but I do Wonder we just watched one week at the end of this season could that be flip-flopped will the defense be better than the offense this year no this is a offensive team it has been a offensive team since Jerry took over this thing it's about the offense to start it's about the offense in the middle it's about the offense at the end that's why you pay your quarterback 230 Mill what is it what was it guarantee yeah 240 because that's what you're that's what you're hanging your hat on you're hanging your hat on number four number 88 that offensive line and all those other key pieces on that offense to carry you to Glory it's it always been that way and and and they've never they've never really poured a ton of resources on the defense okay I'll fight you on man so so so MoneyWise for sure your premise is how the cows are built his question was which is going to be better that all they don't always equ when we get to the end of the year you will have your points per game for the off you'll have you'll have a top two or three offense in the National Football League from a from a production standpoint probably so because they've been that's what they've been the last five years they they're always top two or three if not number one scoring offense uh it might be you know the question is who's the better unit at the end of the season and there's a chance it could be the defense and I would say this that you have Dak you pay a lot of money you have cd who else scares you on offense I think that you have more Playmakers on defense got him you have more playmaker with with with with Michael Parsons with um Diggs who can return interception for touchdowns too and certainly when Bland comes back over going be with the rise in overan and Demarcus Lawrence getting the fountain the youth in this defense I think we have more difference making players remember say difference making players on defense how about that more difference making players on defense I think offensively of course you talk about the quarterback yes and we can exclude him from the conversation because he just sits in a different realm yeah um but CD lamb I I think is going is is St no I I believe and it sucks that he got hurt in the last game God is good he's fine God is good um all the time but I think I think Jake Ferguson you talk about the potential of what things could be I thought and I do still do think that Jake Ferguson was getting ready to take that jump into that 8900 yard Mark in the tight ends you you you heard Travis Kelce even talk about Jake Ferguson and talking about like this dude is the next one up he's the next stud from the tight end room that we have in the National Football League he's the attitude of the offense he he's the dog of the offense he brings that that Attitude Era to this offense he can make plays he's one of dak's favorite targets and the one guy that I'm still and this is this may be a long shot but I'm I'm still oh he's gonna go tobert I'm still hoping and believing yeah but you you haven't seen that yet and so I agree with we haven't seen darari over but you put him in the mix him we see nothing from Tober on game one okay we listen I love Tober in training camp and I was hoping for a breakout season we talked well over ain't done nothing yet let's let him play well he played and showed you everything we saw in training camp was real we have not seen what we saw in training camp and and mini camp was real with TOA yet I hope he he and I think that's and and with with Ferguson I think he's a solid player he is reliable he's gonna be a chain mover but I'm talking about busting your ass you know I'm talking about guys that's that's gonna be difference makers and that's one thing about the cow receiving SC outside the CD it you look at some of the other see receiving CES across the league and the number of players talented players they got that will bust your ass they don't have that yet I I think Ferg is one of those guys I I think Ferg is a belt to tail type of player I want the answer to be defense because I think that changes everything we've seen him be the top scoring offense in the league for a half decade now and it hadn't equated to what you need in the postseason but we seen them be that on defense as well they they finished top five in defense they finished number one in the league in sack they finished number one in the league in turnovers like they've done those things as well here's why it's different to me the defense even the ones that were good if you look at first half versus second half or was it two years ago when Anthony Brown went out they went from the best defensive football to one the worst pass defenses immediately when they lose a guy it falls apart when Parson fades it falls apart and I I just think back to like you're a real life Super Bowl Contender if you're a real life top five defense not oh yeah they had pick sixes and stuff and add it up that way no no no no no what do you do down in and down out because what gave like this game offense started good defense was great got a lead defense didn't fade at all offense half F and didn't do anything but like I want a defense that gives me a chance I want the Cowboys to start hot always the green game Dak started like butt offense started like butt and defense started like butt and it's like okay a whole lot of butt going on lot of butts a lot of butt butt lot of butt butt no no lube how great would it have been if when Dak and CD did get going and it was like you're watch you're G it doesn't matter they can't catch up what if you got a stop and a stop and a stop and a stop because Trevor Lawrence got his team to do that and he got to throw four picks in a half and it's like oh yeah the Cowboys choked and Dak choked and I'm like Trevor LS threw four and a half and his team said we'll stick around let stick around we give chance no you need you need the defense to show up and and and and I think they have a chance and and stopping the run is gonna be key to that you know whether this could be a better unit because they winning the turnover battle being but don't break having a lot of sacks don't mean nothing if you can't stop the freaking run I agree you know and stopping a run down in and down out being able to do that and that's why defense was start a game as Cleveland Dak got the money tur got the 60 yard kickoff return but that defense that defense is going to be the one that's
