who is lucky Jackson and how does he actually is a mystery I'm trying to solve today now while I was doing research the other day for my other video on the oldest wide receivers in the NFL I found this dude who had no profile photo whatsoever and was besides guys like Adam thielen and Keen Allen who I know for sure are above 30 years old given how long they've played in the league now I know for a fact I've seen this name before cuz I remember specifically the Vikings signing him as a free agent last year so I was like there's no shot this guy's a 32-year-old with one year of NFL experience right I've got no clue why I would store this type of random stuff in my brain to begin with but hey it's helping out for this video today anyways being the huge nerd I am and how sus this whole situation is I had to do a deep dive and find out how old lucky Jackson actually was so naturally my first stop was to go to pro football reference which I would say is a pretty reliable source now they're saying that he was born on July 17th 1991 which confirms that he is in fact 32 years old but doing a simple Google search it actually says he's 26 years old and born in 1997 which is a much more believable age I'd say so what am I supposed to believe here now had to double check by going to college sports reference and check when he played for Western Kentucky and backtrack from there so in 2015 he registered at Western Kentucky and assuming he was 18 then that would make him 19 20 21 that would make him 22 when he declar for the 2020 NFL Draft so after going undrafted in 2020 he joined the blues of the spring league for the 2021 season the Edmonton Elks of the CFL in 2022 and the DC Defenders of the XFL in Spring of 2023 so by the time you sign up down with the Vikings in September he was 26 which matches up with Google's information on him so how in the world do we end up with the number 32 is absolute mystery to me but what I do know is that we need Justice for Lucky Jackson and somebody needs to get his age right so what am I going to do about it you ask well I'm going to go on the pro football reference go to the corrections link submit a form saying they should get it right and boom Justus is going to be served you're welcome lucky Jackson anyways this is a really stupid video If you guys enjoyed it do some justice and like comment subscribe down below but yeah thanks for watching [Music]
