my yeah Middle School 8th grade I was linebacker and had a little safety B booy Raiders San Diego California yes sir you play quarterback you son oh yeah my eighth grade year oh yeah I was an athlete uh until I got to high school really yeah I played quarterback uh uh defensive end linebacker when I got to high school I played tight end I had nine touchdowns my senior year so yeah I could be athlete you know what I'm saying I'm sure you've already described it for these guys but I just jumped in can you talk about that last play and kind of what you saw and how you knew the confidence you had to attack it like that oh yeah uh like I said I had I knew I had to get off the ball you know if I didn't make the play that my teammate was going to make the play you know and I'm just glad I was there and I seen the ball in his hands and I seen the touchdown behind him so you know safety got Tred to get him in that end zone and that's what it was safety and know the ref tried to overturn it but I was telling him like man come on man ref you know that's a safety come on let's just take the game home you know he called a safety so it's pretty good how's that feel to make that play at that moment of this game to impact a game like that um you know it's a moment I'll never forget it's a moment I'll tell my kids about um you know I was just I'm glad I got to celebrate with my guys you know cuz it's us that that made that play you know all the hard work so not the night you guys wanted defensively overall but what was the message in the locker room afterwards afterwards we got to get better you know this is not the game we wanted to have you know we wanted to come out and attack and we didn't uh we got to get better got to um come in watch film tomorrow get better better done the week what are the emotions like in a game like this I do you feel that pressure when it's this close or what's going through your head what's the message on yeah like I said man our coach told us uh Coach B he really stresses on being a fireman running towards a fire and um you know when adversity hits BV like wants us to run towards adversity and uh that's how we get better and when adversity hit the game we didn't look side to side we look forward and uh we just knew we had to attack and finish how do you feel like the front play overall tonight we got to get better you know got some key things we got to uh do got to be in our gaps when we're supposed to be got a lot of things to get better at and what did you think of Houston's quarterback um pretty good getting the ball out you know when he sees pressure um did a great job maintaining that ball uh you know we wanted to get after him more than more than we did but you know he did a great job maintain that rock good thank you appreciate you
