[Music] hi there welcome to the Oban chatter I'm here today to talk to you about this uh new series that um was released today September the 5th um called on Peacock called Friday Night Fights the million dollar Heist and um it's a miniseries and I'm going to talk about today I watched um episodes one through three and it was really really good and uh this is it's it's produced by Will Packard and Anybody Everybody in it uh Samuel Jackson Kevin Hart Taj Taj Henson Don Cheo there a lot of damn people it's some more but I can't think of them well anyway I it's a it's like a it's a crime it's a [Music] crime I can't say action it's it's a crime thriller or whatever but anyway um it takes place in 1970 and it takes place in Atlanta Georgia and was was weird which which is interesting about is that it makes me now want to go back and look at the history and stuff of Atlanta something some of the stuff that's being talked about I mean they didn't do like a [ __ ] Le documentary in it but the the series is based around events that have happened in the American culture in the black in the Black Culture um like Muhammad Ali fighting the the white dude and the you know we see how they didn't want him to be there how Muhammad Ali security was we see um what Muhammad meant to them and what him fighting in Atlanta meant to Atlanta because what this the what this involves is a lot of history about a lot of history about the black like Mafia like when they had this fight after the fight you know they usually have a party so it's so Kevin Harin known as chicken man he trying to draw all his attention to Atlanta because he want to be he want to be in that life you know what I'm saying he want to be a big he he run numbers now but he does want to run numbers he want to do he don't want to do that little [ __ ] no more he want to do big stuff now he want to be in the big league so he he trying to throw a party but the party he want to throw is for the biggest um Black Mafia people in the country like he going as far as getting Frank White from New York somebody named slim from Chicago these is real gangsters to come to this one location right for this party so anyway within this whole why him trying to put this Afterparty together this post fight party together lots of [ __ ] start going on that he had no idea it was gonna happen so anyway Samuel Jackson I said it's really really good I mean I'm having a good time enjoying this keeping me watching it it you know what it's like it's like a Harlem Night meets not boys in the hood a harlem light meets I don't know I don't know it's just good so just watch it if you can watch it off peat I don't know if it gonna come on YouTube or not but like I said it's just it's three it's three episodes only I don't know if it goes into more I don't know how many um episodes make makes the season but if you don't really got nothing to watch and you just don't feel like messing with the remote find that fight Fight Night the million dollar Heist and like I said they Senter around actual events but they fictionalize some of them you know to make the [ __ ] a movie they making a series so anyway and you know to give you some education too cuz sometimes to learn [ __ ] if if you make it interesting you can even people remember it so could been anywh but you was here with me and I appreciate you and I'mma try to come back tomorrow night to do the Houston family no the family Empire Houston I think they got one more episode before I don't know if they're gonna do a finale or not and I'mma go now to try to see if I can find this next 15 cuz find my recap on that that's crazy that's the that's that series that came out that Carlos King is in charge of where reality TV stars that people didn't like all get together to try to do a a be host of a show that [ __ ] is terrible so anyway thanks for being here and have a nice night bye now
