Daily Series Ep 19- Touring Avila a beautiful city in Spain. This place full of life and culture.

oh [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] good morning we're here waiting for our tour bus today we're going to go to AA and sovia we're going to be seeing some Churches and some aqueducts so we're excited about this there'll be an all day tour yesterday we pretty much spent the day just chillaxing by the pool from our long tour the day before in Toledo so yesterday was our break day today we're doing another tour oh [Music] this Castle has 87 towers and nine Gates we are going into the walls of the city now [Music] this one's a bull not a cow this KN was married to a princess of Spain here's the second one so this is the main Square [Music] AA so this is the city hall there's the clock up here the rich people would watch the bull fights From The Towers because they wouldn't have to mix with people it was the safest space during the bull fight so right here is the church inside of the square it's a Jewish symbol and we saw it also in Toledo in the Jewish [Music] sector okay we're going to go inside of the church [Music] [Music] [Music] here's another Power look you kind of see the tower see you can see a part of the wall [Music] [Music] here so this Palace is now a museum I guess we're going to see a finger what kind of finger St Teresa's room that she was born in there's a replica here which is really interesting okay so in here we're going to see the finger so I'm very sorry once I got on in there they said I could not video there was no photos and no video um but there was a finger and I guess you have to travel to multiple different countries to see the whole body [Music] [Music] what a peaceful View and this is for shorter people but quite honestly it fits me just [Music] fine mat should me so this is a replica of the bedroom that St ter was born in not where her room was this was the room in which her mother gave [Music] birth these are actually tiles not Stone it feels like this is this oh yeah that looks like [Music] um I'm not really good at this that looks some sort of like a burning of incense or [Music] so this church was actually built on St tr's childhood home and the room I'm about to show you is a chapel dedicated to St Teresa [Music] so that is the symbol of St James or Santiago and um this right here is the most important and biggest Palace in all of Aila this cathedral was built during the 12th century and we might get to go inside and waiting to see so the bottom part of the stone is Roman architecture this is where we're going in next Bas so in this church you'll find that the artist only did five disciples on each side of Jesus instead of six so it was an air I guess in math is what they're saying and then the artist ended up leaving town and never returned [Music] [Music] so one of the neatest features in this church is this tomb here it is empty but it tells a story here it tells the story of three samarians so right here there was um I guess in the there was blood that was found on the floor it was considered a miracle because the bodies were from the 4th Century or real long ago so they um they buried the body right there on that concrete patch because it was a miracle there's probably way more to the story but I could only get half of it and now we're going to go down these stairs to a crypt oh
