Hugh Grant was meant to be in Harry Potter and can you guess who he was meant to play gilderoy lockart now that I found this out I wish that this had happened Hugh Grant was actually cast as Guild Roy lockart he'd been given the part he was ready to film Hugh Grant loved the first film and he knew there's guiloy lockart character coming in the second film and he wanted to play him so he actively saw out the role got in touch with the producers everything he wanted to play lockart and he got given the role The Producers like yeah play him we want you to play lockart You're our first choice for lockart you get the role but then he had scheduling conflicts he had another film going on and he just couldn't make his schedule work and he was tied in with the other film and so he couldn't work on Harry Potter he couldn't be Guild Roy lockart so he had to withdraw steep down from the role then instead The Producers sort out Kenneth Brer who is their second choice and he played Guild Roy lockart Kenneth Brer plays the role brilliant but I really could imagine hug Grant in the role and it would have been great to see that come true
