Close Game VS Number 3 Team! UCF Knights Dynasty Ep: 19

and we are back UCF Knights Dynasty and in the last episode um we ended up Force winning against Florida State now we go against the number three ranked team in the country Virginia Tech and in our next game as far as it stands we will be playing against number 10 North Carolina don't know if they're going to improve or not but it but even we lost our first game against Kansas State this is really a big chance to show that just because we lost our first game does not mean we're not capable of making the playoffs that we're not a Powerhouse of a [Applause] team as you saw there um I I am recruiting a onear fullback I have five points to spare and I figured might as well spend it just on offering someone a scholarship and well personally I like my odds of Landing a onear fullback with just a scholarship I'm not able to do anything else with the Five Points because I'm offering send the house to everyone and the one person I'm not well two people now uh I already gave five points for it he's getting 40 points so I'm not able to do anything so I figured might as well just get a fullback if we're only going to spend five points on him plus he's only a one star so I doubt anyone else is going to offer a scholarship or anything like that as miles Montgomery up to the 39 yd line that carry was good for 24 yards he did lose four yards on on the first play so first down UCF miles Montgomery again gets the carry he's going to get six yards on that one up to the 45 second and four now and down goes quarterback J Curry Brown third and 11 at the 38 that was a a seven ydd loss it's going to be a quick pass it's going to result in Xavier Townson getting three yards but fourth and eight not even close to the first down sadly unless there's a rough in the kicker penalty which there's not ucf's first drive is going to result in zero [Applause] points and if you hear any noises in the the background it is my cat don't know what she's going to be doing hopefully nothing crazy the first down for them the hokes they're going to get a gain of 12 I believe enough for a first down looks like they do have a new running back I don't know why it's flashing one over one of our guys doesn't matter hurdles over someone but he was on the ground so it doesn't mean whole lot only a one yard gain the hokes do have a new running back they're old running back D or am I thinking of Iowa State or someone like that I don't know but there was this old running back I believe played for the hokes who destroyed us but we ended up blitting regardless third and eight now from the 37 yd line huge F down here they're going to throw their pressure wide open is number four Miss tackle by number seven he's going to get across Midfield to the 44 yd line 20 yds on the completion and a first down and we going to get pressure and down he goes lost to seven at Midfield number six huge play second and 17 now it's going to be an RPO pass going to cut it back inside going to get back to the 45 roughly around the line of scrimmage needed about an extra yard to get there though third and 11 they need to get to about the 33 and A2 yard line for a first down has plenty of time looks like he's going to take it himself and he has plenty of room slides down at the 24 that's a first down Virginia already doing well their first drive have had two now third and Longs but doesn't matter as they've managed to Prevail both times as that's going to be a one-yard gain for their quarterback I don't know why it's flashing free I don't know what any of this flashing stuff means but it's it's irritating to look at as there's some pressure he just throws it and that's going to be a touchdown what a throw on the run what a job by the tight end to get into the end zone there and Virginia Tech showing why they are the number three ranked team in the country as in their first drive even with two third and Longs they showed no adversity as they managed to get the first points of the game return up to 22 by me and well we're going to let the uh the compuer do the rest jaku Brown going into his second Drive he's a player who I not been very happy with so far this season and not helping three now play action going end zone it's caught but out of bounds that was a bad throw by the quarterback there as he was open he just kind of put that way too close to the sideline was way too hard quarterback draw is going to result in a loss of a yard I'm pretty sure that wide receiver got the touchdown there second and goal from the two yd line they're going to hand it off there's some room but he's not going to make it going to be just short third and gold they hand it off again and he's not going to get there and fourth down you're going to kick the field goal from the one I understand now they've been in well not in this situation but they've been in fer and Longs before they might be able to pull something out here as number six causes pressure and he's going to cause a sack at the the end it sucks knowing this game could actually be 17 to 13 we could be winning if all went if all went right for us but we just got outran by a tight end for like a bunch of yards that's fantastic they're already across Midfield okay bro what what kind of switch to day flip already they're down to the 29 how many plays has even been two we're not even ready yet come on bro I'm not about to watch you guys get torched on this one D this is this is the momentum right here that field goal has absolutely changed the tide of the game or we could just get a 16 yard sack Isaiah Nixon I is like not horrible far from great they suck we have to play fcsd it doesn't matter if we're playing a 65 overall team unless their school name starts with FCS we're not beating them it's it's s it's sad to say but that's just the case this line just sucks bur and two I'm going to call halfback dive I probably should have done fullback dive if this does not work and you see the defense they are initially I think that second effort got him it again with defenses man we're getting torched you saw that drive and here we are moving at a slugs pace and now our fat o lineman sorry to say it but called All American or something like that no I can put 50 points up on Madden but for this game for some reason just getting more than one yard is is like asking me to become a professional assassin it's just never going to happen it feels like and with that logic it means I would become a professionalist ass and I would not two yard game by them second and eight now from the 27 third and five from the 30 how many people are we going to rush I see four so far let's not rule out the possibility of a blitz but let's put it down to 2% we do Blitz a fifth guy and look at that do you see that tell me you guys saw that we brought more than four people and they failed to pick up the first down did you guys see that did did you see that I don't even care about the Mis interception that Malachi orange had we blitzed we brought more than four people and because of that they didn't pick up the first down maybe the defensive coordinator is finally realizing don't have to only bring four people if that would have got picked I would have been pissed J Curry Brown sucks by no means he's like an 80 overall well 79 sliding down at the 48 so by no mean is he like horrible he's probably below average as a starting quarterback but like not below below average he's probably like in that tier of he's like he's in the tier of serviceable which isn't terrible but when you're a power for program it is like I miss KJ Jefferson first down up to the 31 that was a good play by him there I'll give credit there Curry and off the miles Montgomery gain a free second and seven for 28 I miss when Colt Simon would run for like four yards a [Applause] play and there's the offensive coordin oh my gosh Co Simon's out there we are putting in this kicker again I do not trust a freshman because he does not have a a lot of leg on him I don't trust this kicker he doesn't have a lot of accuracy on him 48 y to tie the game against the number three ranked team in the country he made a kick it's 11 yards well that just further improves the chance that going into the fourth quarter we're probably going to have a tie game first and 18 since the penalty occurred after they gained two yards will they get another playoff they probably will but I don't know if they want to they do want to they're going into the fourth they're going to be facing a third and 1 the number three and the number 19 miles Montgomery's that quarterback it's a keeper and it's going to result in nothing 27 y to make it a six-point game and it's good they're going to have a minute for 49 minute 50 they do elect to looking at about 50 yards before they even get the ball snapped 51 seconds wow but it is third and seven because they had to spike it to stop the clock we make the tackle four and seven claw keeps running do they want to take a time out and talk about this does not look like it this is the game if they do not pick up at least seven yards UCF wins quarterback froze on the run it's dropped and UCF is going to pull off the upset against the number three rank team in the country 23- 17 UCF wins off of a big hit to knock that ball out do we get to see that highlight do we have to scroll down I wonder are we in the first quarter I think we're in the first quarter we aren't able to see it UCF Pats the number three ranked team in the country oh my goodness how much will We rise I have no idea that was a well fought game by both sides we're first for both these guys reaching their top five we're winning against teams like Ohio State and Oregon State for one and for the other I wasn't quite able to see with that win we jump up six spots to number 13 and then Clemson and Tennessee for the other but however that's crazy that we're winning with they have offers from my Georgia as well wow Isaiah Nixon five sacks four tackles six tackles for loss and that's enough for him to be the national defensive player of the week but if you thought we were we were done after that game we we have to play now the number nine ranked te in the country we do have some more recruiting points curious to see how we we got the 10 I mean with this this gives us enough for 50 right yep we can now send the house because we're probably going to need to I mean you look at this this is a this is a close race George's kind of pulling away a bit oh Western Kentucky trying to oh wow they have a few actually random teams I think that's New Mexico State at number five Louisiana at six I'm not able to see who's number four if I had to guess that's Jacksonville State maybe and then the fullback we're not even on the list that's crazy we're second but it's a Twan race right now with Penn State for four star Derek mckisic we're first for fre star George for worda we're first for two star Manny Costa we're first but not by a lot for Dylan Barry Hill we're first for Mike Roby we're first but uh FAU does have a uh visit scheduled Eric gratty we first for athlete sha McCary we're first for D tackle David Holly Miss is keeping up we're first for athlete Cory vickerson we're first but not by a lot this is a close one for John fredes Pat Chamberlain were're first by a decent bit halfback Maurice Carter we are first but do you I mean that is it is US of Florida State and for halfback Josh oliviera we're also first but as you can see Miami's you know competing for him as well ultimately the goal is to just get one of them well the goal is to get both however if we lose both of them especially if we lose them both to like Florida State or Miami obviously Miami is a bit far gone however I would not rule them out of this guy considering Georgia Tech does not have that big of a lead over them I would also not rule Florida out for getting e as well I'm really hoping basically that one of these athletes I'm recruiting ends up being a running back because those are kind of my backup plans if we don't manage to add any of them but I mean looking at the top 25 as you can see Virginia Tech does stay ahead of us even though we beat them they are number 10 10 we will be going against the number nine ranked North Carolina uh Utah is still ranked at number 23 I believe that is the only other team in our conference who is ranked we are to Big 12 Kansas State surprises me I mean they did lose a game however I would think they would be considered for oh Iowa State actually is number 22 Oklahoma State who finished the regular season number one in the last week I don't know if uh like conference championships count is starting the season out 0 and2 and they have been out scored 34 to 54 I'm guessing our win against Florida state was blow out that I force win because we've lost a game by three points and we've won a game by six points so the fact that we yo 3117 yeah but this is a tough you know little stretch we have Cincinnati's a rivalry game I don't know how good Baylor is Oklahoma State I do not want to play so yeah this should be a fun season for us I I said said I think we'll do kind of well again however I don't know if we're looking at even making the 12 team playoffs I feel like we would be kind of a lower seed if we were to make it I think we would
