Bengals go on the road against Patrick and the Chiefs and throughout this game and there's that moment that went viral where he's trying to pick up a gatorade bottle his surgically repaired wrist he's shaking it all the time yesterday he 100% said he feels fine and it is fine however our Chris KY on ESPN Radio not buying it I am concerned about the version of Joe burrow that we're going to see from now until the end of his career because this wrist injury is something that we don't have a lot of history with quarterbacks being able to bounce back from in the NFL we just haven't seen it so I I am not going to believe it until I see it and that's why sitting here today I'm selling all the Bengals stock and I'm selling all my Joe burrow stock all my Joe burrow stock all his Joe bur yeah I'll buy it you'll buy the stock I'll buy the stock from Chris on Joe burrow 100% man Joe burrow last week he looked way more like Joe burrow did two years ago week one against Pittsburgh that would be my complaint he didn't look comfortable he didn't look settled I don't think this is a massive issue he's talked about all offseason this is the best I've ever felt I I this is the strongest the biggest the fastest that I've ever felt I he didn't play great last week but this is way more looking like a quarterback that didn't have great pocket feel and understand or not understanding like a feel of the game and the speed more so than oh my gosh I think is it a concern cuz the other years he didn't always get through training camp he was going through injuries this year he's been in training camp so is it more of a concern this year to see him come out in week one and struggle against a Patriots team that a lot of people were saying going to be a 32nd pick of the NFL draft this upcoming year yeah or 33rd actually the first and the 33rd 32nd is the team that wins the Super Bowl but I understand the point that you're making I think New England's defense better New England's defense is better than anticipated My overall concern with Cincinnati is significantly more that their scheme is dead their offensive scheme is dead what does that mean the only the only way this scheme works is if you have two Elite wide receivers okay number one you're in shotgun all the time number two your tackles are in a two-point stance all the time meaning their hands not in the ground the defensive ends first down are teeing off in two-point stance guys Joe's ready to throw there's one person looking for the football he's two yards down field well that's on first down okay so all right no one's there we take check down then we get to like second and six second or seven we're in the shotgun again our tackles are standing up those defensive ends are in two-point stance jmck they're not worried about the Run Joe is ready to throw there's one person looking for the foot push the ball downfield offense Joe's timing is completely off cuz he's ready no one else is ready now we go to third down tackles are in two-point stances everybody on the defense line is standing up cuz they're not worried about running the football it's third and freaking one they motion over over Joe's ready to throw there's one person on the offense that is capable of catching a football right now so this offense is dead in regards to you can't just line up and consistently live in the shotgun I want everyone at home to really understand this when the offensive tackles are in two-point stance meaning they don't have their hands in the ground right yeah yeah a defensive end doesn't have to play Space at all they they just line up like this and be like here it comes man time to go you're not going to run the football at me and offensive tackles have to brace rather than go yeah so the the the tackles in many ways I feel like are giving away the plays of like Hey we're more than likely throwing the ball here that's that's why I think they're going to miss a guy that's in Houston right now Joe Mixon and also the commitment to running the football J M you talked about that this morning right be being able to consistently call The Run game and sometimes Joe burrow having Joe bur at quarterback is a detriment to to to the Cincinnati bingles because you're you're thinking you know what Joe's make it right no matter what the circumstances are with two Elite receivers exactly but uh we're talking about a Joe burrow that we're saying is one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL but we're also saying our offense that they went to a Super Bowl with Joe burrow it absolutely needs to Elite W but JM that year they went to the Super Bowl with that offense they did way more scheme-wise they would 100% go under Center move the pocket a little bit more play action try to create explosive plays right now this is Catch and hopefully nothing bad happens let me get Kmart in let's go circleing all the way back I mean bro says he's healthy he's completely essentially gave the Aaron Rogers Spiel of hey relax everybody it is week one think about how no T Higgins think about how Jamar Chase missed most of Camp because of that contract situation he just returned to practice that week think about how Joe burrow has missed the offseason because of Co the appendectomy uh you know the calf injury they they consistently start the season slow they're one and eight in weeks one and and two in his career and I think they were 0 and2 the year they went to the Super Bowl this is not a team that that gets rattled and I think that's good you don't want your quarterback to be worried about a week one loss so we're going to hear from Aaron because R elax has been replaced by a new word with the same number one and six as a starter all of Miami wants to know Jason how does he solve the Buffalo puzzle tonight I think it's patience and we're looking at a high powered Miami Dolphins offense since Mike Daniel has gotten there and we're used to seeing Tyreek Hill throwing up the P sign 80 yards down the field Jaylen Wadd doing the the Wadd In The End Zone after a big game through the air the tough thing that the Buffalo Bills do is they force Miami to throw the ball underneath they do a lot of twoo high safeties and they'll roll down but a lot of that is saying you know what we're going to let you throw the ball in front of us and we're going to come up and hit you two of struggles against the Buffalo Bills you look to a season ago he threw three interceptions and there two matchups and and every single one of those interceptions came on him trying to get the ball down the field on plays that just were not open and I think that's the struggle for them because you get used to making these plays and everybody's watching this offense and you want to see how potent it is and it's exciting my son loves him he's not eight years old and he just loves Tyreek Hill and jayen wer because he wants to do their celebrations it's extremely hard for an offense to go 12 plays 10 plays on those long drives down the field I think they have to rely on their back field and that's even without Raheem molard and if Devon aan is not able to go Jeff Wilson will be back there as well and they also have a rookie that a lot of people aren't talking about who may show up on Thursday night yeah it could be interesting okay so who wins tonight I'm rolling with the Miami Dolphins I think Josh Allen has a big game he always does against the Miami Dolphins I do think that Tua in this offense is able to figure out some things no ton Johnson for the Buffalo Bills at their nickel position cam Lewis will man that Jordan porer is not michah High's not there I know Demar Hamlin and Taylor rap are going to be the starting safeties I think this Miami Dolphins offense can make enough plays to win the game tonight after nearly two years of not beating the bills Jason's got Miami winning this game we'll see how it play for foree [Music] speech fore spee foreign speech fore fore spee spee for spee speech so foree spee foree fore fore [Music] don't on more fun
