[Applause] gadr won the draw center Shot San Jose's got control of it now from their own end the Sharks move the puck in the defensive Zone shot denies up on the play here in the corner he grabs the puck and the puck skips out of the Zone they'll be forced to tag up Tak it along the wall by Neer Meer moves it quickly over to goodro fires it and that goes off a stick somewhere in traffic grabs the puck in the defensive zone now a quick pass to goodro San Jose's got the puck along the wall and that's knocked away and now they look to make something happen from the neutral zone cuts to the front oh and somehow he gets a sliver of it and keeps him up G slop shot from the point we got a whistle penalty coming up Dad's called for tripping he's off to the Box San Jose's man Advantage unit will take to the ice for the first time tonight an opportunity here to go up by one on the power play you know they've worked on this in practice it's something you do your repetitions this is what prepares you to be big in these moments grabs control of it at the point BS looks around slides the puck down low takes the feet at the back end and he takes the dish and that one's turned aside they're like a swarm of bees out here with this pressure oh safe along the wall another feed shot stor well putting the special in special teams it's a power play tally well it's all about specialty that's flaring miscommunication right there he thought he had an open Lane and at score they tied it up opportunity knocking and they take advantage on the power play well you spend so much time in practice working on it because you want to have different layers to throw off the PK units and I thought they did a real effective job reading what they were giving and then they were able to bury it other way and he gets a piece of that one and denies it San Jose's got a hold of it against the wall good heads up play in the defensive Zone and the deadlock is broken as they take the lead well that's a huge shift and you can see everyone standing up on the bench they know how much it means but it's the next shift that matters most now James you want to kind of push and put pressure on your opponent when they're down the shark sees the moment and grabed that all important go-ahead goal up by one here in the back half of the first well this is an earned lead James is that they've been had a slow start to this game James they're going to have to pick it up in terms of possession time for giving their opponent way too many opportunities and a lot of time with the pocket here's a I like that jump in their step we're starting to see here now really seen an uptick in their momentum in the last few shifts and they're rewarded with that goal James they've got to continue to attack shot and that goes off a stick quick feed down low back to the Blue Line quick shot there's a shot and he takes that one right in the midsection San has put up a lot of shots and so far plenty of scoring chances and yet they still Trail here in the second Calgary's won the draw inside the offensive zone now let's see what they can do with it and we'll get the whistle after the golender hangs over to pack daddy scor that's three in a row oh it's so much easier when you're running in the game and your opponent is chasing and that's exactly what's happening right now although this is unlucky bounce for the golender James it's one want fact these are the types of goals that can be deflating for a team it's a scramble in front golender can't find and guess what it's in the back of the cage Calgary's won the draw in the neutral zone turns the puck over great read defensively there there's a great save on an excellent chance there moves it ahead from off the wall poked away in the neutral zone San Jose's got the puck in their own end the Sharks played along the wing and that's a great heads up play by goodro oh we got a piece of it to keep it out San Jose's got it near the point the Sharks play it along the boards a game of inches and he puts it off the outside of the post San Jose has been working hard all game a reason why they're still in it and they had an opportunity to cut the deficit but goes off the pipe and out the sharks have had their chances but they still Trail late in the second Puck has dropped and we are back underway broken up with the stick in the defensive end that one's tipped and he gets his glow on the changing shot here's the chance does it again with the stop he's out battling his opponent right now he is so dialed in he's tracking the puck theyve got a two on one dishes It Off and that brings the second period to an end both teams will go back to their rooms and get a quick breather while man there's a lot of fans looking forward to this underway here in the third cherl 40 minutes in the books now played how do you view this one the Flames are heading this game in the third period James but the question is for how long I mean the transition and the Counterattack happens so fast Benders are left hung out to dry this game is all about offense looks like there's a delayed penalty being called here by the officials the flanks have been handed to for [Music] interference I love the 131 set on the power play unit they used earlier listen they had success they scored but there's so many variations off of it I love the bumper position that can act as a decoy allow the puck to get through to create those seams and open up those shot attack Lans denied that one that's a great save as he drops into the butterfly you want to make sure that you take away the top of the net but you know you got the lower net covered and the agility to be able to move across the crease is an example right there and he's going to cover up the puck and get a whistle that's a great read by the go tender to hold on James they were under siege in their own zone now they have an opportunity to reset refocus and get back on their horse good R gliding in for the face off as this penalty kill will continue slides in off the wing after the centerman tied him up oh and what a save as he gets that one too I'm not sure where the defense is but I'll tell you what the goenda made a flurry of saves to keep his team in this one the cing feam oh scores and the power play comes up piging in I love the various options that they have on their power play James once the PK adjusts to one they hit the other San Jose's trailing early in this third period despite leading in the shot department now they got a finish good rose won the draw here in the open ice and they cough it up at Setter HP knock loose after that hit Calgary's gain possession and he was locked in on that save as play continues that's a fantastic save by the golender but his team has to do a better job of protecting the middle of the ice those High danger scoring chances eventually go in here's a short pass scores and that's three it's a hattick here on the road well old hat for him in a way because it's a businesslike approach as he's on the road he just says yeah just bring it I mean gets a hatti to boot the flanks take control of the face off along the half wall with the puck and he slides it quickly to datsu and that cars off a body in traffic and now he moves it quickly to Pac daddy close save and he handles it with [Applause] ease nearing the Midway Mark of the period you can feel the energy In This Crowd it's a tie game locks them up on the draw as they take possession San Jose got the puck in the defensive end and that's knocked Away cadro St in the line and on the attack how did he stopped that one there's the whistle as the puck is frozen up centers glide into the dot as a face operator to resume play Calgary's got it in the offensive zone here's a sharp angle shot and a solid save there as we play on moves the puck over to Neer me and he slides it quickly to Betts great reach with the boat check Quick Pass to BS knocks the puck away in the open ice and now it's grabbed by goodro oh those boards rattled after that hit wow and he's rattl as well James I mean we knew that hit was coming and then all a sudden boom and he's down for the count and there we go icing is the call past the halfway mark of this period we got a tie game nice job tying up his opponent with the blast can't get it to go that's off a stick San Jose's got it in the her own Zone to his [Music] teammate you can feel the energy in the building right now in this tight game the pressure is on you have to find a way to embrace it at this moment picked up along the wall by goodro here's a chance behind the net from his own end he picks up the puck takes the feed takes a shot takes the pass right up the gut into the attacking Zone can't hang on to the puck after the play moves it to BS Puck picked up by goodro San Jose's got it behind the net takes the puck here's a shot and there's the save on the play dad suits taking it from his own end gadr cross the line and gain the zone and he takes the feed oh look at this here they come they've got numbers San Jose is going to play it from the corner stop that one Calgary's got it in their own Zone hand hang on to the biscuit after that Calgary's got it behind the net nearing the final minute of Regulation this one one still too close to call and that goes off a body feeds the puck to DSO now he takes it over the line sends it in on the attack sansky stick handling in his own Zone the Sharks taken across the Blue Line huge play in his own end to come up with the puck went for the dirty dangle and it goes sideways and poek knocks the puck away moves it over to goodro here's a race for the loose Puck and he comes up with it San Jose's gained possession along the boards makes a save we got a whistle as the puck Frozen a big draw looming here in the offensive zone [Applause] goodro quick stick off the draw wins possession San Jose's trying to make something happen in the offensive zone absolutely because this should be electric stay with us one will win one will lose overtime will tell the story overtime action is underway absolutely love it picking up some steam at Center Ice quick feed to sansy the Flames have it now and there's a power play opportunity coming up here there's the whistle and here's the call well the coach didn't feel this was warranted it wasn't aggreg just enough off this penalty Calgary's won the draw and they'll go to work great defensive effort there big save by the golender once again oh a missed opportunity here in overtime as the power play expires James I'm not sure if the emotion got the better of them with that power play unit but it's overtime you got to find a way to be urgent Drive the paint that was not acceptable the Sharks will played from the defensive Zone Calgary's got the puck along the boards G with a stick and it comes up with a huge save a big face off here inside the offensive end and from off the wing he comes up with it with both centers scummed up and a nice takeway in the defensive end by goodro sends the pass down low sends it quickly to pack Dy he's got the game on a stick oh and he's taken down penalty coming up well he makes a great play and he's in all alone on the breakway and then he gets tripped up James this is definitely a penalty shot packed at he's got the game on his stick shot St overc [Applause]
