Carolina Panthers Release Terrace Marshall Jr. My Thoughts!!

yo what's going on guys it's Houston Sports Talk Back another video today and today the Carolina Panthers have released wide receiver Terence Marshall Jr who was a second round pick in the 2021 NFL draft 59th overall Terrence Marshall Jr had a you know not so good 2023 season uh nine game look only nine games played 140 receiving yards um on 19 receptions those aren't good numbers but I will say look he wasn't that healthy he only played n games but at the same time still there still are bad numbers there in 2023 2022 was a solid year for him actually 14 games nine starts 47 targets 28 receptions 490 receiving yards with one touchdown so if you look at it and you know this into the 2022 season he's a secondy year guy who puts up almost 500 receiving yards and missed three games so um he put 500 he put up 500 receiving yards and one touchdown and in 14 games those aren't bad had numbers uh if you look at it uh where he missed misses three games so he could have been higher If he if he's fully healthy but that has not been the case in his career 2021 rookie year 13 games so he missed four games um had 138 receiving yards so if you look in his career he has missed a total of 15 games in his career um so Health has been a problem um there have been he since he's been on the Carolina Panthers three SE Seasons they've played 51 games he's only played 36 of them so uh and he's only had 767 receiving yards and only one touchdown look he looked pretty solid in the preseason uh in two games only two games is he only played in two of their preseason games he had five receptions for 53 receiving yards and one touchdown it's pretty solid but this Panther's wide receiver room has gotten better than it was last year they traded for Deontay Johnson they drafted Xavier Legette whoever really like they drafted him in the first round um they signed David Moore who was a Tampa Bay guy and with their head coach new head coach David uh sorry D Dave canals being from Tampa Bay being the offensive coordinator I think most likely David Moore will make the roster Adam thielen is is back in Carolina he's not leaving he's he's staying in Carolina this season they also have a guy like Jonathan Mingo who looked really good in his rookie year don't think there is a lot of room for Terence Marshall in this Carolina Panthers wide receiver room this may be a wide receiver room for a rookie quarterback and Bryce young last year that looked really bad but I think for a wide receiver room for second-year quarterback and Bryce young this year it looks a lot better adding in Xavier Legette adding in um adding in deontre Johnson adding in David Moore having a wide receiver and Jonathan Mingo I would think he gets better this season he looked pretty solid last year imagine and how he looks in his second year and also having Adam Thelen back so this is a pretty wide solid wide receiver room if you look at what it was last year it was just Adam Thelen and that was really it uh it was basically just Adam Thelen and Jonathan Mingo I guess uh they also had DJ Char Jr which looked that's solid it's Adam thel's good Adam Adam thel's great DJ CH is solid Jonathan Mingo was a rookie this year it's Adam th who's who's good uh Deontay Johnson I really like and he'll he he's going to basically be a wide receiver run he's going to be basically wide receiver one next to Adam th and also Xavier Legette with you know Jonathan Mingo and David Moore it's a solid wide receiver room for a Young quarterback and Bryce young let me know your thoughts on the roster move for the Panthers in the comment section and peace out
