Intro [Music] so I'm back in Philly coming back from a week in the sun in Florida a little tan a little rested and it's officially baseball season let's go Phils so last Omega Snoopy week Omega introduced a new moon Swatch and this time it took the legendary Snoopy model Snoopy has always been a Grail piece starting with the original model in 2003 which was limited to 5,441 pieces then in 2015 the second Snoopy limited to only 1970 pieces fast forward to 2020 the current blue Snoopy with Snoopy circling the earth was released as a non-limited Edition now we've seen the prices of Snoopy slowly drop as many models have but with the introduction of the non-limited piece and now a moon Swatch Snoopy you will have to ask has Omega killed the golden dog for collectors now speaking of new introductions next week will be watches and wonders and we'll have the introductions of 54 Brands and it'll be one of the biggest events in years I am very excited to see what will be coming out from some of the best brands in the world now Paddock Philipe is obviously one of the most watch releases of the show and there are a number of possibilities I'm looking for now I know some including our own Tim maso is calling for a paddock dive watch but I don't expect we're going to see that anytime soon but I do think think the possibility of another new perpetual calendar is quite High we've seen great interest in the inline perpetual 5236 and the 5320g I would expect we could see some new metal choices in those models a rose gold model of each would make perfect sense and fill a natural Gap I would also like to see a new Perpetual in the family of 5326 and 5226 with a new case and a sportier look also something else would be a new Perpetual on a bracelet now the 5136 was a classic Model and I'd love to see a dress perpetual and a bracelet come back into the collection the 5172 Chrono could use a rose Gold version as well and I'd love to see another steel bracelet watch maybe a Revival of the 851a would be awesome to have a moonphase power reserve on a steel bracelet now obviously everyone is keeping a close eye on what we'll see in the Nautilus family as the 5980 has been discontinued do we see a new Nautilus Chrono or a Perpetual Nautilus in rose gold and what about a new Perpetual Nautilus but in steel it would be an amazing way to expand the Nautilus steel collection and the last hole that needs to be filled is a gondolo a square Paddock hybrid dress sport watch or a new 5135 would just be amazing and give us a break from all the round paddocks Longines now everyone knows longa is one of my favorite Brands and they've been expanding odys over the past few years and I expect we could see a new adicus in a complication maybe here again a perpetual calendar but most likely it's the 30th anniversary of the 1994 launch and I would love to see a throwback longa one it would be great to see a remake of the early longa ones maybe bring back the colored dials rose gold black maybe gray or even a new mother of pearl dial and a remake of the longa one on a wellendorf bracelet would be fantastic Vashon now vason is another Holy Trinity brand and they've had dramatic success with the relaunch of the 222 I would look for either a new metal white gold or is it time for the steel version or even more exciting what about a new sutterella the 1921 has been a strong seller and going back to the archives the sulter needs to be brought back now cardier has been one of the Cartier hottest Brands over the past few years with the reintroduction of vintage models crash is now a modern icon Pebble and tank normal have been very well received and this year could we see a tank centree dual time or is it time to bring back the tank oou or I dare say the helm or tank ISE Cartier has one of the deepest cataloges to pull from and I promise you we will be seeing more and more of the cpcp pces coming back overall I think independent Brands will be very interesting to watch smaller CL classic designs with true watchmaking and finished detail need to be highlighted this year more than ever obviously as the market is slowed over the past year it's even more important than in the past for Brands to truly innovate to gain attention new colors and a new metal should not be considered a novelty I expect we'll see some new calibers complications and true Novelties from Brands pushing the envelope to draw attention to be commercially viable no matter what it will be it will be one of the most fun weeks of the Year critiquing what comes [Music] next
